Thank you for this video about UT Arlington dorms. I've been interested in this university for a while and never really seen any videos related to dorms. You should continue to post related videos to this school if possible!
Thanks for watching! Yes, I definitely plan on posting more. Every time I’ve tried to film this past few weeks my professors have hit us with huge assignments 😭. But I will be posting another video very soon!
thanks so much!! i am a junior in high school and have been considered this college! thank you for giving a tour of the dorm! also your room is super cute! i love kpop too
Thank you so much for taking the time to post this video… this will help my daughter get the things she needs to move in Arlington Hall this fall 2022. I like how you organized everything
By any chance, can you make a video on what you should and shouldn’t buy when moving into a dorm at UTA specifically? (What comes included and what doesn’t.) Like you said, there aren’t a lot of videos on UA-cam about UTA dorms so I’m sure it’d be very helpful to those hoping to go to UTA in the future. :)
Hey girl! Love your room!! It’s literally everything😫😍.. could you please say how you got the dorm or how does it work to get on Arlington Hall in the housing contract
Thank you so much for sharing!!! You’ve answered so many questions not covered on the school website. One question- does each person get a key to their room as well as the key to the entire unit? If not, what did you do to keep your valuables safe.
hi i’m gonna be a freshmen at uta and i have a couple of questions if you don’t mind helping me out! 1. how tall can you make your bed? i want to buy bed raisers but idk how tall it can go without them 2. does uta actually care about the 10% rule? because i want to put stuff up but i’m scared they’ll make me take it down bc it’s not “10% of the wall” 😭 i actually have the same tapestry as you and want to hang it! 3. how supportive is the bed? because i’m scared that if i loft my bed it won’t be as supportive :( thank u for the help and i adore your kpop themed stuff 💓
rose Hey, I’m glad you like it! 🥰 To answer your questions: I’m not sure of an exact height but my bed was 4 notches down from the highest it could go. And unfortunately, yes UTA is strict about the 10% rule... Halfway through the semester an inspection person wrote me a note telling me to take down my tapestry or “fold it in half” or else I would be fined. 😢 But if I didn’t have my photo wall, I’m sure it would have been fine. A lot of people have tapestries in their rooms. Just don’t hang up a lot of other stuff if you’re gonna use a tapestry. Don’t worry, the bed is very sturdy haha. Just make sure you use a mallet to hammer the bed hooks completely in the notches, and that the bed is level. You can rent out mallets. from the front office. Hopefully I answered all your questions correctly!
The room comes with a trash can and recycling bin but I wanted a bigger one that matched my room. And no, the dorm already comes with a shower curtain. ☺️
I really like your desk lamp (the one on the right hand side that changes colors). What kind is it and where did you buy it? Thank you! My daughter and I appreciate your video!
Kory Lane Well technically yes, there are a few apartments that are cheaper than the dorms. However, most of the cheaper ones require you to share a room. If you want your own room and don’t mind roommates in other bedrooms then the prices are pretty much the same as the dorm and you get more freedom and aren’t forced to have a meal plan.
Hey! I might be going here this fall, is it okay if I ask a few questions? First I have a fish tank (small) and a small snake. I’m pretty sure UTA has a no pets policy but does that apply to all animals? Also if I may ask, you do not have to answer if you’re not comfortable or if this in inappropriate, how much does this living arrangement cost per month or a range? Lastly what is the 10% rule? I’ve never heard of it before.

did you have to buy a trash can and a shower curtain? I am moving in this August and wanna know if I need to get those things. Thanks

Does the fridge comes with the room? Btw I love your room and I'm also a kpop fan
Balqees Salaam No it does not, I bought mine from Ikea. The whole suite comes with one shared fridge though. And thanks! I’m glad you like it 🥰
Do u know if an on campus apartment is cheaper then the dorms or the other way around
