    Tied a couple up this morning with a bit of variation since I only had red glass beads. Heading up the Eastern Sierra on Thursday and will give these a try. Love the pattern! Thanks!

    if you roll together Peacock herls and the thread will be stronger than only peacock herls.

    If I may, I recommend not breaking off materials instead of using sissors. By breaking, you are adding additional stress and tension to an already delicate process. Where the material breaks isn't as consistent as sissors. Does it work? Yes. Is it ideal? No. I figure I already paid for the sissors, I might as well be use the. Great looking fly, and video. I'm looking for tying a few up for myself.
