- Grace VanderWaal performs her original song "Light The Sky" at a benefit concert for Valley Hospital Auxiliary's pledge to support child and adolescent mental health, and Valley's "Butterflies" program. Butterflies provides a team that plans and assesses needs for families caring for seriously ill children at home (Ramapo High School auditorium, Franklin Lakes, New Jersey). No other singer-songwriter of any age can light the darkest skies like Grace. Grace is a champion of those in need and continues to participate in various benefits.

I love the way she changes the songs up a bit to sound unique with each time I see her sing them. This young lady is blossoming into a beautiful angelic sound!

Hard to pick a favorite performance of LTS from AGT, Special Olympics and this. Each different, each awesome in its own way. I especially like in the AGT performance the light touch on the uke during the first few lines. Grace uses different voice levels depending on the venue. On the big stage in Austria she stepped back and let it fly, on the small stage she sings more softly.

Thanks Fredee for the great video, without knocking others who recorded Grace's
performance, this one was more enjoyable. The others I watched, I struggled to
hear her especially her new songs. Burned is a great song and I enjoyed it more
after seeing the lyrics. I thank you once again and all the others who ply their
talent to bring out Grace's gift to the world.
I've run out of superlative to describe Grace, she is just pure joy. On another thread we are assembling a Grace Vanderwaal Old Geezers Fan Club, but I don't know if you are old enough to qualify. The younglings in the club are in their 50's, while most of us our 60+, with a 70+ added in. We all appreciate Grace for her amazing talent.

+Philip McNeill I never said "old geezers".😃 Posting the band names was something I copied from Grace. They have been backing up Grace on live shows since her second AGT appearance. I know that Elijah and Hillary are busy with their own gigs apart from Grace, but I assume she feels comfortable with them, and they seem to love working with her - who wouldn't?

+J. Michael Nolan I have already posted (below in this thread) about how much all of Grace's fans appreciate everything Tina VanderWaal has done from the very beginning. Her job #1 is being a mom, not a videographer. Grace also likes to offer the live stream that Facebook affords, despite it's limitations. For whatever they can do I am grateful. We can't know how interested Grace is in having every single performance recorded and scrutinized. I would not have posted these without getting permission from Grace first.
never said her job was being a videographer. pls don't put words in my mouth. it's just too bad she hadn't used a better camera for the live streams that they've decided were important to do. i mean, for less than she's paid for her cell phone, she could have (and still could) have a small palm camcorder that could give much better video and audio quality to what they want to live-stream. i was just wondering if she might now or someday regret not using something better? if not for fans, for there own family archive. as is obvious, in some cases, she is the only one taking videos of some events or private events they choose to post on-line. lost memories for them at the very least or at least lost decent quality memories. there were times early-on when fans were talking about forming a go-fund me page so that grace vanderwaal could even have a better camera and mic at home. now, it looks like she has that. and possibly she's done even posting videos to youtube from home? i know she contractual things about video these days and things have changed drastically over the past year. so, am not talking about parental responsibilities here. talking about a simple tweak that could have been made. very simple.
