We're back with another video, checking out which Devil May Cry (DMC) Game holds the Rarest Achievement out of all of the series.
We'll be looking at Devil May Cry 1, Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 4, Devil May Cry, and Devil May Cry 5.
We're going through each of the individual entries to determine their respective rarest achievement and will then order them by rarity to eventually figure out which resident evil game had the rarest achievement out of all of them. Enjoy the video!

Having gotten DMC5 Platinum'd I will point out that your speed is not relevant to your ranking, it's only meeting a certain point threshold at the end of a stage. The only thing speed gets you in 5 is more orbs at the end of a stage. Which for most levels means that it's not too difficult to get an S Rank even on DMD, once you account for the 1.2x multiplier for no continues.
That said...
In the cases of stages 8, 10, 12, and 18 things get really tricky, because the Stylish ranking at the end of a level is determined by taking an average across multiple encounters. 8, 10, and 12 have quite a few mandatory fights with really weak enemies that getting a high Stylish rating is difficult because of how many weak enemies they throw at you - even on DMD if you play normally you'll probably only get around 4000 points for instance (and you need 6000 to S Rank DMD, which is an average of 5000 with a No Continue bonus) so those mandatory encounters really pull down your overall rating.
This is why doing the camera trick and using the dance taunt or using Royal Guard to get up to S rank BEFORE you start attacking in a mandatory encounter in those levels is almost required for higher difficulties.
It's either that or you go for a no damage bonus which will absolutely guarantee an S Rank. No damage is actually pretty doable on Dante stages and it is probably the best way to S rank 10, 12 and 18 because of just how busted Dr. Faust is (though the boss fight in 12 is tricky since Dante will automatically go into his recovery from the Sin Devil Trigger at the start of the fight, you need to stun Urizen before that and then dodge a ton of attacks from one of the most bullet hell-esque bosses in the game even if you do Dr. Faust cheese strats)
Stage 8 is probably one of the hardest to S Rank, being a Nero stage and you're MEANT to lose the second Urizen fight so a No Damage Bonus is really not that viable. Also Stage 8's mandatory fights have very few enemies, but it MIGHT be a more viable route to go for one of the optional fights with a Behemoth? I didn't try that.
Stage 10 is also ridiculously hard because it throws a bare minimum of SEVEN mandatory fights at you, and most are no good for grinding Stylish points (the first two are filled with enemies that are way too weak, the fourth is against a single Fury, the fifth can be decent to go for points since it lets you dance before entering it but it's got a ton of enemies including a Judecca so it's just an annoying fight in general, the sixth is a bunch of bats and a Fury).
Stage 12 the best idea is to do the skip and go for a no damage bonus. Two mandatory fights but none of them throw any hugely annoying enemies at you and the first even lets you skip a Fury fight (although if you let the Lusachia or the Pyrobats stick around too long they might smack you with a random projectile and screw up your no damage bonus).
Stage 18 is Camera Trick and Dr. Faust: the stage. It just isn't worth it trying to fight the familiars in "normal" ways because they're too likely to get stray hits off on you because they're so fast and even if they weren't, they have too low HP to get a high Stylish rating against (I think that like the highest you can usually get against Griffon in the first fight is like 3500).
Oh, oh, I do have a few other tips to add onto this since I've been working on S-ranking Hell and Hell mode too.
First is for Mission 8. There is one thing I ABSOLUTELY MUST do in the mission before I get to Urizen. What I do is group the first two encounters (Three Caina that spawn near the beginning with the two Caina and one bat near the upper part of the road), and enemy-step/snatch boost until I've hit S-Rank, before I go to town (making sure I destroy the bat first). Hitting the group of 5 Caina with wide attacks like streak or an aerial buster would also help the boost. I tend to start the mission that way with an average of 5500 points. I've even hit 6000 on a good run. It's such a pillow that It makes any potential weak enemy encounter dropoff to be a bit more manageable. As long as you no-damage the Seated Urizen fight, you'll get that sweet No Continue bonus.
As for 10. I've learned Gunslinger with E&I is your best friend for weak enemy fights. The damage isn't nearly as high as any melee attacks, and if you rotate the moves effectively and taunt at the right times you should be able to boost quite well. Hell, in the first encounter, you'll be able to get to SSS before the Green and Queen Empusa spawn in if you go full Gunslinger w/ E&I. Oh, and jump on the first Empusa to spawn until you get a C rank (or B, if you can manage). The little boost will always be handy. I've netted an average of 5800 points to start the mission, personally.
S rank stage 8 was hellish, to get the minimum amount of stylish points sometimes it was better to skip combats entirely so they wouldn't be calculated as low encounters. It would have been much better if the amount required was calculated as a total summary
I remember ages ago setting myself to the challenge of getting an S rank on DMC5 M18 on DMD without using the Faust hat (mainly because I wanted to S rank all DMD missions, and using the Faust Hat to get past the difficult stages felt way too cheesy). It was miserable; the Nightmare boss fight isn't bad, per say, but it's one of my least favourite fights in the game. It's a very long and drawn-out fight, especially on DMD, and I'd usually miss getting an S rank by just a tiny sliver and need to do it all over again.
I do remember eventually getting the S rank, but to be honest, I don't even remember for sure how I pulled it off. I'm fairly certain I didn't do it no-damage, given how difficult it can be to dodge some of their attacks; I think I did it using the special taunt in each mandatory battle while keeping the enemies off-screen. Enemies remaining passive while off-screen is such a handy mechanic.
I played DMC 5 and was happy to play the new game in the series. Then I seen this achievement... I felt defeated instantly. I can't even beat Hell and Hell, let alone try for an S
I just remember, tha's not about speed to earn S rank, rather that do well at encounters as you mentioned. And do good stylysh againts weak enemies is kinda tricky. No damage is safe and there is/was a little exploit. Force quit the game and launch it again will spawn you at the latest checkpoint like nothings happend. No penalty for continue. So, if you messed up some encounter, or boss fight doesn't go well, you can just force quit the game, return and try again from latest checkpoint.
Luckily you can use super costumes in the bloody palace of 4. This makes Dante and Vergil’s runs very easy. Nero’s still a bit tricky though and Lady and Trish can be quite challenging as they don’t have super costumes.

Nero and Lady are almost as easy as Vergil (if you can’t just frame judgement cut they’re probably equal) since they both do stupid damage very easily through charged shots and Trish is literally just build DT (which Trish is very good at) until you get the Pandora laser. Dante is the only one that’s actually hard and if you really want to you can just use super costumes and omen your way through the entire mode.

I got all devil may cry games on platinum the hardest one was the bloody palast with trish in dmc 4 and not to sleep in dmc 2 😂

I saw the trailer for DMC5 when it was announced and I thought it was the coolest, I always knew about the series but never checked it out until then. I managed to get the platinum trophys for 1,2,3,4 and reboot before 5 came out and I got the platinum for 5 too. Currently working on 5 Special Edition. Easily one of my all time favorite series

I thought the hardest achievement in dmc2 was be able to continue playing and finish the game.
I went out to platinum dmc 5 a few months and what makes it even worse is that some of the missions have bugged rank meters. I believe missions like 8, 10, and 12 just give you less style points despite you having a consistent SSS so you have to play HARD to get stylish for it. I eventually got it but I remember having a all out war with mission 10 for like a day and a half.
As someone who got platinum for DMC5, skip skippable battles. It will not affect your average stylish style.
As the comment states above me, skip all battles you can. The game goes off you over all score, so if you can skip it the overall score is technically higher at the end
On top of skipping the battles, dance like your life depends on it.
And don't get hit, that's pretty much always a guaranteed s rank at the end.
It’s not bugged, they just made the decision to have stylish points be calculated differently on each mission. It is really annoying though, mission 12 took me 2 days.
@@TruthAndReconciliation i think my biggest issue was mission 10, it just has so many unskippable battles. I usually ended up doing the provocation and holding royal guard for like 10 minutes to hold an S for a while. Mission 12 got alot easier after I learned the speedrun tech to use DT and cavalier to just jump up to the points.

Got the DMC4SE Platinum back in the day as well as all other ones except for DMC5. Seeing this vid and the comments saying DMC4 was harder (despite me really having had no problems with neither character) motivates me to actually do that evil no damage run. Thank you guys!

as someone who has platted dmc 5 I can say that dmc4s trophy list is way more intimidating than dmc 5
Dmc5 was tougher than 4 but both were easy. Just practice more

@@antont4974 yes I think they were. I come from the ninja gaiden black era way harder than devil may cry. Platinum that trilogy ninja gaiden 1 2 and razors edge then we can talk difficulty
I still believe dmc4 is the hardest game since bloody palace is much tougher since lady and Trish don't have dt costumes which makes the later floors way harder than they're supposed to be. Dmc 5 isn't that bad since alot of the levels that have dante can easy be beaten with Dr Faust and Nero you can keep using his charge shot as your fighting enemies to do damage without having to get close to the enemies, and v you can use auto assist since hah is one hit anyway and you don't have to learn that much with v.
Getting S rank is the hard part since there's really niche requirements to get them and it gets harder on DmD and HoH difficulties.
4SE is the only game I haven't platnum'd because I can't be bothered to learn Vergil, Trish, & Lady for BP.

@@literally-nobody242 I was just burnt out on 4 after 92 hrs of Nero & Dante including the no dmg boss fight against Dante on BP. Learning 3 entirely different characters for a BP trophy ain't worth it. I basically forced myself to complete the campaign with all 3 and just couldn't keep going.
@@platnumbreaker I would recommend learning both Vergil and Trish at least, as they are the two most broken characters in DMC4SE at the most basic level, especially in power

Long time DMC fan, and by god, that trophy in 5 is NASTY. Getting S-Rank on ALL missions is one hell of a climb, and Hell and Hell mode is especially brutal, since it basically tells you to play perfectly. Never the less, the game is so fun that I don't mind re-starting mission runs again and again trying to get it right. I've even learned to appreciate some of the more neglected skills from the boys because of it (as well as having certain tactical realizations when it comes to some of said neglected moves).
And for DMC 4 platinum.

So far, I've gotten the platinum for 1,3,5 and the reboot. I just need to finish 4 up, and force myself to play 2, and then the entire series will be finished. I'm pretty excited. Definitely my favorite action games of all time.

Gotta say, completing all the DMC games, with the exception of 2 and many, many parts of 4, was probably one of the most frustrating yet satisfying things I did in a long time.
DMC1 DMD mode was actually called DANTE MUST DIE for a reason. Goddamn Nightmare 3
DMC2 was just a slog, especially the higher difficulties. Trush demolished Bloody Palace tho
DMC3 SE, DMD Enigmas can go suck a fat one, other than that, thanks to super costumes, is was rather fun
DMC4 SE, my god. Having to do the Bloody fucking Palace 12+ times because Shadow Dante ship-damaged you with pistol spam was such bs. Also, having to SSS rank ALL BOSSES, aswell as finishing the Bloody Palace with both newcomers that could die in an instant wasn't really my definition of fun.
For DMC5, actually, besides mission 8 and 12 (I believe, the first Dante mission) where the style rating was just a pain, it was actually kinda really fun. Even the V mission. Even on Hell and Hell. Yes, I like pain
For DmC, ehh man, the combat was amazing but I couldn't give 2 shits about the story. Seriously, it became a slog after a while

I have the platinum trophy for DMC1-2-3-5 , I’m currently only missing DMC4’s plat, I haven’t really played that game yet it’s setting in my backlog but I will probably play it and try to get the plat at some point.

I moded the game so even though I was on ''human'', enemys were on Dante Must Die.

I do 1.2 PL damage.
They do 2.6 Enemy damage.
Basically I do 1.2 times damage.
And they did 2.6 times normal.
When I was a kid I tried for so long to get the bloody palace achievement on dmc4 as it was the last achievement I needed. I was able to do all 101 stages with Nero pretty easily. I believe Nero was much stronger than Dante in dmc4. But I just could not do it with Dante. I got close a few times but never got it unfortunately.
Also, V from dmc5 was the most boring character to play of all dmc games.
Dante is very very much better than Nero. His skill celing is just was higher than Neros. If you aren't already good at him, you're getting stomped. I myself can't get a hold of him like I can Nero. Too many moves for my brain, haha. High level DMC4 Dante players make the game look absolutely insane.
Also, V was one of my favorite additions to 5 and with another shot I think they could really perfect what they were trying to do. V is gone now though, so we can't use him again. I've personally liked the idea of making Kyrie the same type of fighter that he was, with her own set of spirits to control. She's probably the least popular character in the DMC canon. She doesn't even physically appear in DMC5 despite being so important to Nero. I feel like a playable role where they can flesh her out more would be great for gameplay and story, and I can only see her fighting like V does.
The trophy in 5 is easily one of the nastiest I've ever seen in a game. Its honestly way above my skill level , but kudos to the 0.4% that managed it xD

I got the dmc 3 plat to and have 3 trophies left for dmc 4. Idk what to do after getting all the dmc games platinums though
As a kid, in DMC I had every single level SSS ranked besides the final level/boss battle on the highest difficulty and it still pisses me off to this day that I let my patience run out so easy after a week of trying.
One day I'll go back and torture myself.
DmC Dante had a scythe as a weapon, which immediately spikes the cool level higher

Actually I don't think time matters when it comes to getting an s rank in DMC 5
I am proud that I got platinum for both dmc4 and dmc5, although the rarest achievement in dmc5 is to get s rank for all missions in HoH but the absolutely hardest is the similar achievement with HaH, you have to get no damage run on majority of the 21 missions so that you can get the 2.0x bonus on points to guarantee you a S rank for the stage. While for dmc4, clearing bloody palace with all 5 characters is a hassle but not the hardest of dmc4 trophies, the hardest one is to get no damage on the dante fight at lvl 101 where if you messed it up, you will have to restart the bloody palace all over again
Since i've got the DMC 4 platinum and DMC 5 platinum twice, taking on the dmc series challenge is easy. I love it.

My experience with dmc is weird af. I broke my arm a month ago and couldnt do a lot of stuff, but i could hold a controller. Out of boredom i decided to start playing the hd collection to see what is like. A month later here i stand a dmc fan, only not beating 4 in full and not playing the reboot, but platinum scares me.
Time doesn't do anything on missions rankings in 5, thankfully. It just gives you some extra orbs if you get under certain thresholds and if you're gunning for S ranks on Hell and Hell you've probably got everything purchased except items, which barely exist in 5 and would hurt your rank anyway
Well, i've got the platinum for DMC 5 twice and actually, it was hard but it was so fun.

I got the platinum for DMC5 a while ago and it's honestly not that bad. There are missions that were brutal on DMD but overall doable. I got the S rank on all missions by not getting hit on SOS and DMD. Doing that on SOS is significantly easier than on DMD because if you do get hit accidentally you can just restart from a checkpoint by closing the game. When you close the game and open it again the game loads you at the last checkpoint and it forgets that you got hit as opposed to choosing to restart from a checkpoint. That option is removed in DMD because if you close the game you restart the level. If you memorised the whole game and follow certain strategies it becomes infinitely easier. For example, abuse Nero's charged time stopping arm. With Dante, using Dr Faust and Sin Devil Trigger makes the game a cinch. With V just use the auto combo option and mash triangle and square. You'll get a 20% reduction in points but that's counted by the 20% for not continuing. Its easy to not get hit in V's missions so you'll end up with a x2 multiplier over your score which pretty much guarantees an S rank. You'll mess up, but with enough attempts you'll get it down eventually.
DMD actually does have checkpoints there just much less frequent. HaH is the only mode without any checkpoints

Me feeling good with DMC5’s platinum trophy
Why Worthy of Legend has a much lower completion rate than House of Pain probably has something to do with the number of purchases of the game itself (DMC5 pulled huge numbers while DMC4SE was pretty divisive iirc. Don't quote me on it though, I actually only picked up the series last year and had a blast with all the episodes, including the boring ones.)
The only game I couldn't get a platinum on is DMC4SE, because of House of Pain. The bloody palace is just so unforgiving, too many blitzes and stuff. I would redo Worthy of Legend another 3 times (and I did it for both versions of DMC5), rather than this one. While WoL is the rarest obtained trophy in terms of percentage, I'm sure it is still easier than HoP. Godspeed to those who are still trying it. I gave up long ago...
I have the platinum trophy for all DMC games but that account got hacked and dissapeared back in 2014.
The account I have now, I have platinum on only DMC3SE, DmC, DMC4SE, I am currently still trying to get the DMC5 and DMC5SE platinum but my patience is wearing thin so bad. I really despise the trophy work for DMC5(SE)... it's killing me.
I honnestly think that for getting Worthy of legend from DMC5 the Hell and hell difficulty isn't the hardest, don't get me wrong its still hard but for some missions to gain enough points you HAD to not get touch once because of the missions layout so to me the hardest difficulty was I think Dante must die or Son of sparda I don't remember which one is the toughest because you basically have the Hell and hell requirement of not getting touched AND monsters have a higher health pool than Hell and Hell.
I do not regret going for it because I really loved that game and is way easier than 4 which was my first DMC. ( was like 5yo when DMC1 came out)
my absolute favorite game in the series is DMC4 Nero has become my favorite character in the whole series but the hardest trophies I deal with is beating the game on Hell and Hell mode I have gotten to the final boss in DMC Devil May Cry and almost beat him but never did sadly
I'm happy to have obtained the platinum trophy for every single game, reboot included. It's def. Possible but takes some time

I have S on most of the missions from Human to Son of sparda in 5. Haven't started Dmd yet but I know it won't be easy to S rank. One day I will have the Platinum for 5.

DMC5 was the only one in the series I platinumed cause it seemed way easier to do so than in the other parts (specifically 4 and 3).
The fact I didn't need to collect every tiny red orb strewn about made it sooo much less frustrating to get an s rank. Especially for an impatient prick like me.

Ive plat'd 3, 4, and 5, but the enemy records in 1 and the weird way the secret missions work in 2 is keeping me from pure platinum

when i 100% the hd collection, the dmc2 achievements were easily the hardest. not because the games hard, but because its so bad. i read you like a book was also annoying, and so was doing all of the secret missions for dmc1
As someone with all the achievements on all DMC games, the hardest achievement is definitely 2 (because of how boring it is) but if we're talking difficulty then it's definitely 4's. I feel like Nero was almost useless against some bosses in 4 that made it hard to actually finish the Bloody Palace with him
This is really funny considering every boss was made specifically for Nero to fight, Dante doesn't have a single original boss (not counting his boring "final boss". Just keep jump canceling and do air combos like crazy, Neros pretty good at not touching the ground

Why did people struggle with dmc4? Lady and trish dont have super costumes but they are both super broken. They could easily delete enemies and bosses in seconds. I didnt think it was that hard.
Was thinking the same thing, haven't tried it yet but from a video I heard that Trish was broken almost if not more than Vergil, with Lady dt attack doing big damage too
To get platinum in dmc4 you have to beat Dante BP no-hit! You are really going to say that it's easy when he has input-reading and hit-scan bullets?

I think it's because they don't want to playthrough the main game again to learn how to play them. DMC 4 would have you replay the same levels 6 times if you want to beat every characters story. Honestly, this would be fine if the game had a real 2nd half with its own unique weapons. But yeah, I can see why people wouldn't want to even try learning them after spending who knows how many playthrough a learning Dante and Nero.

@@RichFakh heaven and hell is the one where every enemy and yourself dies in one hit and is hence the hardest one to S rank because building meter is made very difficult as enemies die too quickly.
Hell and hell meanwhile is just son of Sparda difficulty except you die in one hit but because Dante must die exists, that's not that big of a challenge as dante must die difficulty is a massive jump from son of sparda/hell and hell.

im currently going for the third time on ps4 because a friend paid me to get the platinum with his account hahahah
the hardest part of the series is keeping a cohesive combo with lady in dmc4
The trick with Lady is that she's 95% a long range character. You gotta play as the worlds most stylish shooter and don't be afraid to keep distance. Only use the melee moves if enemies are getting to close and grouped up around you. Also, don't ignore the charged rocket. It takes a while, but if fully charged it can nuke AND S-rank bosses. I seriously lost my shit laughing my ass off when I totally destroyed Agnus with a fully charged rocket to the face.

As someone that loves this series almost as much as my kids, I still am pretty divorced from the achievement hunting aspect. I have only played the PS2 titles. I hope to play DMC5 someday, but I still think achievement libraries are sort of annoying.
Yeah, I never got completionists. Game devs absolutely are not expecting people to do literally everything in their games, they see achievements as just that. Achievements to work to, not bum rush every game to get every trophy, lmao. I think a really good example is the reaction completionists had to collecting korok seeds in Breath of the Wild. Everyone got so upset that collecting all of them gave them absolutely nothing but a joke of a reward thats item description kinda tells them that what they were doing the whole time was a waste of time. The devs themselves said they didn't think anyone would even want to get every korok seed. They're placed literally everywhere to make sure people are always discovering new rewards, not so someone can grab them all. Even The Completionists got mad at the game for daring to not give the 0.3% of people insane enough to collect all seeds a "real reward". I absolutely love DMC, but I wouldn't ever dare trying to Platinum it. Just seems useless, I'll just get S ranks on my own because that feels more fulfilling than filling out a checklist that wasn't really meant to be completed.
(1) Devil May Cry >> completing the "Demon-dex" requires patience as it also means attack patterns of enemies also changes as the difficulty increases. The 2nd fight with Mundus in DMD is a really tough fight for me
(2) Devil May Cry 2 >> I hate the game cuz of the gameplay and the sort of fish boss that is invisible in DMD.
(3) Devil May Cry 3 >> my fave title in the series in terms of story. I dont know what made me do it but I attempted the Hellish Honor trophy in DMD. I did it as my last trophy to get the Platinum. Hahaha lol
(4) Devil May Cry 4 SE >> Vergil is really powerful in this game. So much that I used him to do all of the trophies that required S ranks on certain difficulties. Legendary Dark Knight mode is so fun when I used him. House of Pain trophy is a pain in the ass as the Bloody Palace is really tough for Trish. I hate Blitz demons!!!
(5) DMC Devil May Cry DE >> a pretty easy Platinum for me but the experience was quite forgettable. I wish Vergil had a longer story arc.
(6) Devil May Cry 5 >> my fave game in the series in terms of gameplay. I havent got the Platinum for it yet cuz im not yet "Worthy of Legend"

DMC 4 is sadistic with the bloody palace trophies. I did literally everything besides lady and trish, and I never did dante on the top no damage. Big sad about that. But I do have 2 plats for dmc3 on ps3 and 4 versions. And dmc dmc on pc and ps4. The pc version I remember giving me some trouble
DMC5 achiev is super grindy - it's not that hard from strategical view, but it has 0 fun value. DMC4 damageless Dante BP is just unfair - my best is eating 2 shotgun blasts on 2 try

I used DMC3SE because it was the only existing version of the game that came with implemented trophies, (the ps3 HD Remaster IS the SE) the original that was released on ps2 obviously didn't have them =)

I'd argue that the DMC: Devil May Cry achievement is easier than Devil May Cry 3's, if we're going off of "oldest version" of the game.
So, definitive edition of DMC fixed a LOT of issues and made the game overall a bit harder. Release version of the game, I would call nephilim mode the equivalent of normal on 3 or 4. In addition to that, the game's ranking system was not very well balanced, to the point that getting S rank on a mission was trivial.
These are a couple of reasons, among a mountain of them, that fans of the series HATED that thing on release. Definitive edition is closer, but still off, release version wasn't even devil may cry.
Also, for the devil may cry 4 achievement, you are again not looking at the earliest version of the game. Special edition added Vergil, Trish, and Lady as playable characters for bloody palace, but they were not included in the original release, which did in fact have achievements.

I hate the complete the game on X difficulty trophies in DMC5, especially since you only unlock the higher difficulties one by one. It's such a chore, in all other games even ones from when the PS3 released if you beat the game on Hard you'd automatically get the trophy for the lesser difficulties. The bloody palace, SSS Rank on all missions and Hell and Hell Trophies are the only ones worth getting, nearly all the other trophies are just lazily designed and try to milk playtime with no challenge or skill involved. Still love the series though.
Interesting you should say that. You can unlock the remaining diffuculty levels super early by beating Urizen in the Prologue from Devil Hunter to Heaven and Hell Mode. So, about 4 times. And, if you do it in a straight shot, it'll be about 4 times. The only problem is, if you go out of your way to unlock them right off the bat, you're running with the least amount of skills and upgrades, so...
@@1Synner Ye I heard about that method but the game still forces you to go back to a lesser difficulty from whatever you started on and complete the game and SSS Rank all missions even if you managed to do both of these on a harder difficulty. If I did it on DMD and Hell and Hell mode why would it think it's a challenge to do it on lesser difficulties. Just seems lazy to me.
@@astoraan6071 It's less lazy design and more assuming the activity of the average player. Generally, most players wouldn't try to skip ahead to higher difficulties, and generally most players would practice on lower difficulties (probably S-rank them as proof of mastery), before they challenge the higher ones anyway.
Besides, Trophies/Achievements are all optional anyway. Just a side challenge, and as long as the game is at LEAST a solidly good experience and the challenge is actually a challenge, there really isn't any harm in it. As far as DMC5 is concerned, the game itself is incredible anyway, and there are enough unique optional challenges that allow for something more general and straightforward.
At least, that's how I see it.

To be honest s - ranking every single level in the game doesn't take that much skill, it's just time consuming. If you really want to s - rank every level, all you need to do is search up a guide. From there it just takes time.

You said that in DmC Devil May Cry, Dante has an Angle and a Demon form. This is false.
Dante can use both Angle and Demon weapons but he only has a Devil Trigger form.
Honestly though an Angle trigger just makes to much sense and feels like wasted potential.
