There seems to be a very small selection of rubber straps for this folding clasp, and by small i mean 2 or 3 choices, it would be nice if there were a leather breitling 20/18 option.
I not long ago bought a non genuine clasp for my superocean rubber dive strap online, I knew it wasn't genuine but I hoped it would do the trick, it's useless it's difficult to fit to the strap it kind of locks but sits really weird and pops open by itself. It didn't bother me it was really inexpensive and I only bought it out of curiosity, I've since changed the rubber strap to a brand new genuine bracelet correct model for the watch, which definitely was not inexpensive but looks great and increases the value of the watch anyway.
I just bought an original one and I'm a bit disappointed about the finish. I paid a huge amount and I expected the edges to line up when closed - well they don't line up, by design. This time I think it would've been smarter to choose the fake version. I never did that, but the pricing is just crazy for a clasp.
i just purchased from a jewellers a 6 months old superocean 46 mm which has the metal strap on, but i also got in the box ( which the original buy purchased extra ) the blue rubber strap , i am sure the rubber is original as its on the paperwork and why would you not as that is only £70 uk , the metal class looks really nice quality with the breitling logo on but think its a high quality fake ... it was a free bee so i cannot complain ... have not tried it on the watch yet , the metal stap is very nice , have been looking for ages and was a toss up between omega seamaster or the superocean , went down the mall the tried both on and loved the breitling , did not want to buy there though as £5400 and seen it in london 6 months old and purchased for £2800 , think it should hold its money at that , i got them to send me more photos and when i got the watch is as new with all perework and box , just having problem registering it with breitling as fist owner has already done it...
Hi, most fakes don't have the code inside, this should be the go to place first. Inside the top part where the Breitling logo is where the code is. Your comparison is a titanium one and a steel one, finishing will never match, along with weight. That weight is correct for the steel one on a genuine one. Breitling have also made a good amount of tweaks over the last 12 years on these clasps, so it can be tricky to tell. Best advice is the same as watches, buy the seller.

Well take a look at the Breitling website, they release a bunch of new colors. But it could definitely be more.

Are all breitling clasps of the same size? I mean 24, 22, 20 straps, are they narrowing to same size clasp?
AFAIK 24 and 22 are the same clasp. The 20 tappers to 18

Did you actually get a genuine one?
i just purchased from a jewellers a 6 months old
superocean 46 mm which has the metal strap on,
but i also got in the box ( which the original buy purchased
extra ) the blue rubber strap , i am sure the rubber is original
as its on the paperwork and why would you not as that is
only £70 uk , the metal class looks really nice quality
with the breitling logo on but think its a high quality fake ...
it was a free bee so i cannot complain ...
have not tried it on the watch yet , the metal stap
is very nice , have been looking for ages and was
a toss up between omega seamaster or the superocean
, went down the mall the tried both on and loved the breitling ,
did not want to buy there though as £5400 and seen it in london
6 months old and purchased for £2800 , think it should
hold its money at that , i got them to send me more photos
and when i got the watch is as new with all perework and box ,
just having problem registering it with breitling as fist owner
has already done it...

Why did you switch the real one from right to left hand. Very confusing ( last part of the cup).
Good observation, I will try to be more consistent
So the fake would be, 98%, 99%, 99.5% of the one that costs a massive amount more?
More like 60%, the color, weight and overall finish are not even close to being identical.
where did you buy the fake one?
If not side by side it would be near impossible to tell
The weight is an instant tell, the genuine is so light.
basically its near impossible unless you buy a genuine one to compare with ...lol
Yeah, or feel the weight.
