Brine is a liquid mixture of water and salt that's used to melt ice and snow on roads, sidewalks, and parking lots. It's applied before a storm to prevent ice from sticking to surfaces.
Brine is literally a salt solution. 90% salt and 10% beet juice which , shocker, is juice from a beet (vegetable). So yah you’re driving on salted roads.
Randy is back after a snowfall ....57 is not ugly at all...that's a beauty in that era, and it's even adapt to today environment...Randy's the guardian of the galaxy 😅🎉😂
I’m from Minnesota, Beat juice and brine are salt! And they make your vehicle rust faster than granular salt. Minnesota uses regular salt with sand mix. Oh man,I’d wash it asap after driving on brine/juice
That 57 Chevy awesome looking! She’s a piece of” rolling art.” If that viewer thinks that she’s ugly they need to put their glasses on. I think she’s epic looking. Some people have horrible taste and a bit of envy I think. That cat is an icon
Oklahoma uses brine, salt, and beet juice to treat roads during winter weather. Brine is a salt water mixture that's sprayed on roads to lower the freezing point of water. Beet juice: A natural solution that's mixed with brine to lower the freeze point. Depending on the ratio, beet juice can lower the freeze point up to 40 degrees below zero.
The 57 chevy is one beautiful car I love em and would love to have one and whoever thinks or says that they are ugly lost their marbles the 57 chevy is not ugly at all it's a beautiful car. Anyways thanks for sharing i enjoyed this alot and loved it and keep up the great work much love to ya randy have a good one take care god bless and see ya on the next one
For me Chevy Bel Air -57 is one of my dream cars, the generation 55-57 is a highlight in car history. Your car is a keeper, wish i had that possibility.
Here comes the rust! They use “salt” on your roads. It’s applied by itself, mixed with water (brine), and use beet juice mixed with brine. They use the same stuff as everyone else does in winter. It’s cheap and it works. Your ‘57 is now coated with salt.
You know what randy thats the difference between Growing Up hard and appreciating everything you have and respecting people thats the problem now people get off on being nasty we need more love in this world life would be so much easier on everybody you keep doing you iv watched your videos since i was 17 im 34 now take care my friend
Randy I wanted to thank you for putting an Infiniti on your channel because I’ve been watching you for a very long time and thought it might be time for you to put one on your channel and now that you have one in your dealership lot I wanted to thank you so much for doing that 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
No. The '57 Chevy Bel Air is absolutely NOT ugly. It is one of my two dream cars. The '68 Mercury Cougar is my other one. If you every sell that '57, I would seriously consider unsubscribing to your channel and not every watching another video. But, seriously, that car is beautiful. I'm jealous.
Maybe it ain’t a garage queen Randy but definitely could do with a nice clean and polish and put away for the winter after all the snow goes and get the underside done a couple of times good to Randy and cover it over for few months once you done with it she getting there man for sure! 👌👍
I love try five Chevys but man after you said Brine, please go get that thing under washed really good. Get the whole car wash and then get the under body under coated to protect it. You’ll thank yourself in the long run.
You have a whole fleet of interesting cars. You should get a camera setup used by those pov drivers on youtube where we see the steering and the dashboard, yours are worth looking at😊
Gol-lly! That is one beeeeeautiful vehicle. It looks so gorgeous with the snow backdrop and that red just poppin. Love that car. When I was a kid, one of my parents friends had one and I love those cars.
The 57 Chevy is a beautiful iconic American classic car, the only person who says otherwise is just jealous.......ThanX for sharing Randy Happy New Years brother.....🔥🔥🔥❤️👍🏽💯
I love that 57 Chevy. They built those things tough back then I love the body style of them. I don’t know why people don’t like them, but who cares what people say those are great summer cars to take to a car show or is on a sunny day
I read the guys comment and I believe he meant all 57 Chevys. Its just an opinion. I'm not a fan of a 57 but owned one in the past. I prefer 58 or 59 but I would welcome the comments and opinion. Not everyone's going to agree but hes part of your audience.
I had the same situation especially when my employee said my car was too ancent and my dad's friend told me to get rid of my Mercedes and I just got to say I don't ever want to see people like that I do love your 57 chevy my favorite dream car. Those people or that person said something negative is a trolls. Trolls is trying to make the car culture dying. But we need to stand up for our rides.
A 57 Chevy is an Icon classic Veh top 5of all classic cars !!! Any Person that would say thats an ugly car, Is the same Kinf of Person that Would tell u that your Child is Ugly Too !! 🤡👈🏽
Yes, OK used road salt. Maybe not as much as northern states, but they do use it. Also, "brine" is water with salt. In Minnesota they spray brine type fluids on the road prior to snow. the water helps the salt stick to the roads (instead of being blown away). "beat juice" is actual beat juice mixed with "brine". (somehow reduces the corrosiveness of salt)
Brine is a solution of water and salt, and can also refer to the water of a salt lake or sea. It can be used as a preservative, to cool things down, or to quench steel.
That 57 will be awesome on the Hot Rod Power Tour!! I've always wanted to do the tour....but something always gets in my way. Sadly, this year is also out for me. Maybe in 2026? I don't have a "Power Tour" proper ride anymore....but maybe I could find one before 2026? Haha. Maybe one sitting on your lot? We'll see. Haha. The "brine road treatment" might rust cars faster than regular salted roads in the North. I hope not. They brine the roads here in North Texas too.
I like fins and hidden gas caps this car is pretty cool to me. I can't afford to feel bad about leaving cars outside. At the moment moss on my car is a problem. No snow here yet. I tolerate the snow for the few days we have it here before it gets washed away by rain. Though it has snowed a foot a day for those few days. I am not looking forward to driving a rear wheel driving an early '90s cars in the snow but I have done it before. Salt is a concern here especially with a car that already has quarters made of foam and filler.
You don’t know what’s in the stuff they put on your roads but you don’t think it’s salt. Well guess what? They put down brine which is salt water and the beet juice gets mixed with brine. The stuff that they put down during your snowstorm is a salt mixture. Look it up online and you’ll see. Even when your roads are dry it gets all over your car. Here starts the rust process.
Good morning Randy I just got done watching your video on the 57 Chevy that you left out in the snow by accident. It looks like it’s running just fine. I cannot wait until power tour either. Can’t wait to see your videos on it. I know you said you keep us informed but the dates so that’s good but anyhow, I hope you have a great day and I’ll talk to you later and I can’t wait to see your next video. Whatever you have planned to do. I’ll see you later buddy have a good day.
You should bring that baby up here to the Minneapolis/St.Paul area for MSRA Back To The 50's weekend June 20 - 22. One of the largest classic car shows (1964 and older) in the country.
The 57 is a beautiful car ! Anyone who says it's not doesn't know what they're talking about ! They are probably just jealous ! Anyone of us could have one too some day if we budget out money ! Anything is possible if you put your mind to it
I am from Montreal, Quebec Canada where they have some unique laws. BecAuse of the amount of snow we get (over 2meters on average per year' that's about 7 feet) here you must have winter tires on your vehicle between December 15 and March 15. NOT all terrain or 4 season tires as well you can get a ticket for driving with the amount of snow on your hood as it can blow onto your wind screen (windsheild) or blow onto other cars
Brine is a liquid mixture of water and salt that's used to melt ice and snow on roads, sidewalks, and parking lots. It's applied before a storm to prevent ice from sticking to surfaces.
It's the nastiest thing for a vehicle. I live in the north they stopped using it cuz it's rotting all the bridges and plow trucks
Brine is literally a salt solution. 90% salt and 10% beet juice which , shocker, is juice from a beet (vegetable). So yah you’re driving on salted roads.
Man, I love that car. I don’t know how anybody cannot like it. It’s a good looking car.

The 57 Chevy is one of the most beautiful iconic cars. Can't believe anyone would think that car is ugly. Of course, each to their own.
Randy, don’t listen to people that don’t like the 57. I love it man those cars are just beautiful cars. Keep up the great work, brother.
Same in Virginia. The worst is when the brine is still wet, it literally pastes itself to the bottom of your car. Instant rust if not removed.
That 57 Chevy awesome looking! She’s a piece of” rolling art.”
If that viewer thinks that she’s ugly they need to put their glasses on. I think she’s epic looking. Some people have horrible taste and a bit of envy I think.
That cat is an icon
Anyone who calls a 57 Chevy ugly is out of their mind 😂😂,that thing is beautiful man
I seen that comment about the 57 and I’m like wtf. It’s beautiful and I wish I had one
Don't forget you only used water for coolant on some of your projects don't want cracks in blocks or system blow outs or blown freeze plugs.
The 57 chevy was one of the most Iconic chevys of all time And I love what you have done with it

For me Chevy Bel Air -57 is one of my dream cars, the generation 55-57 is a highlight in car history. Your car is a keeper, wish i had that possibility.
Brine is salt and calcium mixed with water, beet juice is exactly what it sounds like juice from beets!
Randy you are proud of the 57 Great car and will be a winner at power tour
That's a tremendous vehicle Randy! Remember this, "haters are gunna hate!" Thank you for bringing us all this great content!!
Here comes the rust! They use “salt” on your roads. It’s applied by itself, mixed with water (brine), and use beet juice mixed with brine. They use the same stuff as everyone else does in winter. It’s cheap and it works. Your ‘57 is now coated with salt.
Brine will eat your cars up faster than salt
Snow in and of itself is pretty much harmless
You know what randy thats the difference between Growing Up hard and appreciating everything you have and respecting people thats the problem now people get off on being nasty we need more love in this world life would be so much easier on everybody you keep doing you iv watched your videos since i was 17 im 34 now take care my friend

The 57 reminds me a lot of my 79, classic look. We got 15 inches in south Colo 4 days ago
That's a Beautiful car!
You know opinions are like......
Beet juice is just that it’s juice from processing sugar beets it doesn’t freeze Canadians use beet juice as well on their roads

I’m not much on chevys but it’s a classic and beautiful car
