You do have access to a rifle to take out the Sniper by the radar, you also get a nice shot at one of the machine gunners too. Just take the Springfield in the armory, it's the same one as the one in the sniper nest. There's also subsonic ammo for the two NPC's by the checkpoint, which are the only NPC's in hearing range of said rifle.
Very impressive shooting. Takes a lot of practice to gauge your shots like that. Never did get good at free targeting myself but typically I'm more of a "beat the game now on to the next " type of gamer. Except on SE4, or maybe 3, I decided to do a restart with no assist. It was extremely difficult to hit anything. Found Brutal Barracuda's video where he plots on a graph how distance, bullet drop and wind follow an established path. I got better, but not much better. Your 245 shot with slight wind was excellent and a lot harder than it looks.
Thank you. Some shots can be tricky in this game. Sometimes I think I get lucky as well though. But I feel it's got a right amount of challenge to it. Maybe it could do with a little more. 😁
@@DazAction yeah, disappointed that you can't kill the armored car drivers by shooting through the little slit anymore. That was always a fun challenge.
I think you still can. At the beginning of mission 6 Liberation, I think you can take out the driver of the armoured car with an armour piercing round through the front window. Been a while since I've done that so maybe I'm remembering it a bit differently. I might have to check it out again.
I found this nest right away when I started because I didn't go up the road, but to the left the first play through, so I found it by accident because I like to investigate the entire map
love the videos, always learn something new! Daz is seen a video of you playing spy academy and you had the one bullet rifle that the enemy's away but I wanted to try but can't remember the video help lol
You mean for the longest kill in the game? There is this video: ua-cam.com/video/Tk1dKUrYlzA/v-deo.html In the description, there are links for 2 more videos. One is same distance but from a different location. The other is from the top of the abbey, but it is slightly shorter in distance.
could you please make a tutorial on how to play and snipe on authentic gameplay level I know that with the white line above the sniper rifle(s) you have to aim your target at but I always seem to miss and or I'm missing something.? and that my go to rifle is the Delisle Carbine because it's the quite even when using armor pricing ammo and such
Thank you. I hope it helps not only new players, but others who might not know it exists. There is no objectives in that location, so I missed it very early on.
Thanks! It will definitely help new players, and it's something not everyone would know about. All these little hidden places or different paths in the game is exciting to discover.
@@DazAction I have played through 2 times and still find something new. There are so many routes and spots to get in. They really improved from sniper elite 4.
is there a way to play the Sniper Elite 4 and 5 Steam PC version without using a mouse and just the keyboard? & if so what would be the best input buttons to do so.?
It's a nice location. Though I think it's only really useful with a supressed weapon. And really only to take out the sniper and the enemies in the spotlight tower.
Guys, can you help? I play on laptop, I’ve purchased the season passes but can’t play them, just says “already owned” when I click on them. Any ideas? Do I have to complete the game before playing dlc’s?
I can't remember if you need to complete the main game before you can play the DLC missions, but inside the game when you go to select a mission to play, there should be an option to select DLC missions. Also check to see if you can select any of the DLC weapons for your loadout in the normal missions too.
I guess I'm the last person on the planet who hasn't moved on from Sniper Elite 3. Here is the reason, and maybe someone can help me out- I'm playing on XBox 360. I don't know whether to get a XBox or PlayStation. I want to play Sniper Elite 4 and 5, but I have to get a new console to play them. What do you recommend? Leaning toward PlayStation because I'm not a fan of the invasive nature of Microsoft.
Sorry, I play on PC, so I wouldn't know which console would be the preferred one for Sniper Elite. All I can say is choose the console that you prefer not only for Sniper Elite, but for other games and features it has.
I'm on a series S. For this game the console you play on is fairly irrelevant and more a thing of preference. Keep in mind however that SE5 is free if you have gamepass on xbox.
You are joking right? Click bate? It might be, seems very debatable. There is just way too much stretched out videos with little to no content. And is getting way too many likes and making these people think we want more. These people will go to any length to become one of the anomaly, a self employed youtuber. Sorry man I'm sure you're a cool guy but I gotta be me, and your bust balls a bit. Hang in there and happy new year 😆 lol

"as you can see he's a bit tricky to hit with this zoom at this distance..." First shot, takes his nose off. 🤣
Cool. Your vids are unlocking so many secrets about SE5!
I got to hand it to the developers for putting so much into each map. I feel like there is so much to discover in each one.
I always take the sniper out before moving on down the slope. sometimes one shot kill , sometimes 2 shots.
I always plant teller mines in the road before going to the snipers nest . Wait for the boom, go back and plant some more.

I always just take out the sniper before I even slide down into the area.
Same here. The spot is one I hardly ever visit as there is no mission objective near it. Just interesting that it's in the game.
Bought the mosin DLC today and already this pops up on my feed.. crazy tech.
Hope you enjoy it!

So like is the whe mission is over you keep steel got the sniper rifle do you keep it I really hope so.
Unfortunately you don't get the keep the rifle. It's only available for that mission and has limited ammo.
Is OK if I can’t keep I think it’s a amazing sniper rifle

I got a 627 meter head shot with the srem...
That's a good distance with that weapon. Well done.
