Hedging EGO style - multi tool with trimmer attachment

G'day
This is a typical hedge I do.
This is a 3.5m to 4m murraya hedge with 30 to 50cm growth ( probably 4 months of growth)
It took 38 minutes to cut back the face, in 6-8weeks time it should take 25 minutes
Clean up took 26 minutes with the next time being roughly 15 minutes

The tarp idea is brilliant. Your videos motivated me to order the PH1420 power head and HTA2020 hedge trimmer attachment. Not sure if this carbon fiber version will be any lighter than the HTA2000 - we'll see. Will have to add the grease port like you did.

For the Tarps I actually use cheap 70% shade cloth. I find it cheaper than a tarp and it dries out if wet, plus if it gets a snag it doesn’t rip very far. I can usually get about 4 to 6 months from the shade cloth.
I have been looking at the ph1420 but they had a deal before Christmas with the 7 piece attachment kit with PH1400 for $1300 so I bought that.
Soon I will upgrade.

Hey mate. I reckon you'd love the new commercial pole hedger they just released. I had your current setup and the new one is lighter, more powerful and has a much nicer trigger setup.

Hey Mate. Can you give me the model number. I did see one of the new commercial hedge trimmers but it had the motor in the head which I find too much weight.

@@1greenthumbgardeningtwba ego htx5300-pa it's not like that old pole hedger they released a while back. This one is just the articulated gearbox at the end and the motor at the bottom. I've been using that one and the short non articulated version for all my jobs since release and they feel incredible.
