Thank you so much. Very informative. I was given this machine from a neighbor who didn’t have the manual or know how to use it. I’m excited to start sewing!
You are adorbs! I have the same machine and so happy you have this video! Can you tell me how to reposition the needle? Where on the machine do I make the adjustment? I have the manual but I can't find where it says how. I need to move the needle to the right for using zipper foot.

Thank you so much I really lucked out with this video! I have the same exact sewing machine I got it off of OfferUp! This video was so in-depth and I couldn't ask for a better breakdown of the machine!
Looking forward to learning how to sew :) I've learnt so much more than I knew already. Time to dust off that machine in the closet I've always been wanting to learn how to use!
I have this exact machine. I love mine. I bought it brand new 20 years ago. What I’m wondering is if you know what kind of free motion quilting foot will work for this? In my manual it shows an embroidery foot that looks like a free motion quilt foot but not sure if it’s the same thing. I’m fairly new to sewing and quilting.

This is nearly identical to mine-- which is a Kenmore 14, serial number 385.12714090. I've seen the one you have, here, as 385.15318, or 12814.
