It's one of the last recordings where legends Charlie Parker & Dizzy Gillespie play together. As popular as the concert is now, when it was actually played live, it had some fierce competition by a boxing match happening at exactly the same time. Was this the first supergroup? Three jazz gods and two demi-gods. I've seen this also titled the Greatest Jazz Concert Ever. You could certainly make that case.
