I think Shannon would rationalize that Ocho is acting non professional on air so he has a valid place to explain his grievances on air. The thing about not liking car services I think came across really trifling to Shannon. Like purposely picking the unreliable choice for some meaningless hood cred. I also think his reaction may have been toned down if he didn't have all the other tech problems. And I generally wouldn't recommend any podcaster doing stuff live because I have never seen anybody not stumble through their show to the point that it doesn't feel worth watching. I've never seen anybody that could find a tab on their screen that they supposedly had ready to bring up when they got to the topic. "Hold up let me find it....." "I don't know if I can make this bigger so y'all can see..."

It may work for some people but generally speaking people would rather be corrected and/or punished in private than publicly. Doing so in private displays the respect you have for person being corrected simultaneously holding him/her accountable. I like that it’s on air. Get right to the nitty gritty. You feel a type of way and want to walk off, then that answers any questions of what you bringing to the table. Plain and simple. Black and white no grey area.
It doesn’t matter. The point is as a owner, you should always prioritize the best for your business. What Shannon did didn’t make the show better, made it worse. First, in the best scenario, the audience is against at least one of them. Second, it made the audience more aware of the show’s problems. Third, it worsened the probability of their chemistry to improve. Ocho is a grown man, an ex-NFL athlete. At this point in life, this is who he is, this is his work ethics. If been a athlete for 25+ years of his life didn’t made him super professional is not going to be a talk show that will. He’s not going to change. If Shannon wants him, he will have to embrace the whole package.

Shannon Sharpe stated that Aaron Rodgers should not have said anything at that moment, but instead should have waited until could talk to them privately about things that he felt they were doing wrong. Shannon Sharpe, should have extended that same courtesy to Chad Johnson.
