Use alt+f2 , I think you will be at tty, then maybe try loggin in via the root user with roo password and then run that command.
My solus os (linux distro)
Was freeze. So i use. Ctrl+shift+f1.
And it fix. It
But it start freeze again.
And now i make the same thing
Now it give me another user open background. Not same as default
And when i enter my right password it say wrong pass

I installed Manjaro Plasma KDE and I really liked it over Mint and but the dang sudo password error put me off ! Thank you so much !

@@AnkitJosh I installed kali on windows 10 as dual boot on the login screen I am entering the password and I am successfully loggin in but when I want to give sudo permission and write the same password it's saying try again I tried your method but it's not working
