I love how the first first is all clean n pretty vocals. Second verse builds tension, the grit and harsh vocals mixed with aggressive cleans. Then the end. BAM.

Falsetto is sometimes interchangeable with head voice. There's not really a big difference between them. You could argue falsetto is more breathy while head voice is more solid, but in order to use "falsetto" you still need to use your head voice.
