16:45 just ate some powerlines there m8 hahahaha
There's some good YT videos out there demonstrating the "Racetrack" pattern which is what most of the guys I know who spray prefer.
Basically if you have passes 1 - 10, you would fly only left (or only right) turns on the field working outside-->in.
Pass 1 -> 10 -> 2 -> 9 -> 3 -> 8 etc...
This way your turns aren't as tight while you're heavy (risking a stall), then when the load comes off you're able to turn tighter without ripping the wings off the ol' girl.
This looks fun. I'm downloading it.
Now i'm no pilot, but my cleaning with a shrubbing machine has thought me to go more like a (Going from your example) 1 > 5 > 2 > 6> 3 > 7 > ect to keep even turns throughout.
Growing up in Louisiana, my first job after school was working for the local cropduster. It was one of the coolest jobs ever. Just a little interesting fact, those passes you make over the field are called "swath runs"🙂 Also, the handle you use to turn the spray on and off is called the "money handle". If you're not using that handle properly or at all, then it means you're not making money.😉
coming from the Mississippi Delta. i see a 802 every day mostly during the summer and planting seasons. In Hollandale (14L airport code) where i live we have 2. One of my favorite aircrafts nice flying
Cool im gonna have to visit that airport in the sim
Dusty Crophopper Simulator right here, this plane is his IRL model they based him off of in “Planes”
Um yeah... and water is wet too
It was bases on the 402 not the 802
Showing the best parts of the sim. Unfortunately mine is still struggling with broken career and performance problems. The good parts sure are good though.
Her calling you top dog made me laugh so hard
You died on the second pass when you hit the power lines.
Real crop dusters I have seen at work stay much closer to the field than this.
Yup same they stay like around 20 30 feet off the ground
Be cool if they implemented a light bar, so you can set up patterns.
That would be cool
After WW2 this was the go to job for out of work ARMY AIR CORPS PILOTS..believe it or not most pilots were exposed to this craft of cropdusting when they were kids..
Many pilots could fly airplanes before they could drive a truck or car.
Pilots like Chuck Yeager and others were very familiar flying biplanes before they volunteered to fly fighters and bombers..
It was a dangerous job flying cropdusters..but it paid the bills..
Today the airplanes still look like fighter planes in the cockpits basi sick and rudders. and the use turboprop engines..and they are not cheap!!
I love siting in cropdusters it's like going back in time.. to fighters
Yes sir!!

🐦 ❤ 🛩
A really nice video mate (:
Thank you!!
The medical career is a good one. You make some good money and they surprise you sometimes...
I really enjoyed this video. I didn't skip or speed up at all.
1:15 It is a propeller driven pump for the sprayer, as I am sure you guessed that much...
First comment. Nice vid man. I fly attractors in real life in australia
Nice bro what’s the real air speed you fly at. ?
lol, when she said my name is Naomi, but you can call me… I thought she was going to say “anytime”.
Bro very nice. I don’t know why they want you to maintain 110. That kinda slow for real life
this was fun to watch
The small fan underneath is to provide pressure for the sprayer
quite amazing what flightsim is evolving to :)
Yea seriously
huge potential in this game...
This is great! How do you get the smooth 'looking' around the cockpit? Are you using some sort of headset?
Amazing video! Thank you for the beautiful footage!
Bro this looks really cool! I ain’t gonna lie
This looks like so much fun!
IRL crop dusters would have pretty advanced GPS telling them exactly where the best places to spray are. No worries about the EFB not being realistic - it's less intuitive than today's tech
Great video. Please tell me how did you get replay mode working in career mode?
In one interview, Jorg Neumann said his favorite thing to do in the sim is crop dusting. He really did not know why. I think it had more to do with his perception of worldly worth than it did flying. He imagines he is actually crop dusting.
It’s because Jorg crop dusted the aviation community when he dropped MSFS 2024. 3💨
How did you get to do a drone/fly over of your flight plan? Can figure out how you did that.
Which mission do I need to accomplish, if I want to have crop missions for my own company to show up?
Running straight through the powerlines
How do you look around so freely/navigate the cockpit so easily? Do you use a head tracker?
What do I need to do to see my avatar? So far back space doesn't work. Is this mode only work from cold and dark start up?
If you're worried about over torquing the aircraft, wouldn't it be ideal to make race track passes around the field, working from the outside tot he inside. That was you'd only be making left hand turns.
That’s the way I’ve seen it done around me.
Thats one of the many ways u can do it. I decided to do it this way cause it was easier for me to keep track of my progress
@@BluGames Makes sense, hopefully they add the lightbar in a future update
Propeller RPM F = The prop is set to FEATHER - Trailing edge of the propeller will be pointed directly towards the aft end of the aircraft. 😉
great video but when i start up the aircraft airspeed and altimeter indicator instrument not working for firefight
IS rhis the Embraer Emb 200 Ipanema?
The prop blades aren't in flag-mode before engine start...
Use your flaps to turn faster
How many credits did it pay????
its a shame they didnt incorperate the gps lightbar system
too much time in the u turns and flying though and into power lines, very little power management - the opposite of crop dusting
How do you like move your body around the cockpit?
Head tracking
@ so you HAVE to be in vr?
@@canadiantrainperson No, a head tracking device works different than a VR headset, look it up
Too much time making those u-turns during crop dusting but really cool video though nice!
I'll bet you..if you ask most aerobatic pilots what they would do fot fun...even pilots that fly for the THUNDERBIRDS AND
BLUE ANGELS..
yep it would be cropdusting..
For fun...
🐦 ❤ ✈️
Most pilots I know at least 140 mph
Just saying but FS 5.1 in like 1995 had crop dusting.....
Hey, actual Ag Pilot here 🙋🏼♂️Just wanted to say that the crop dusting in the simulator basically sucks. Not realistic at all.
Not a AG Pilot here🙋🏼♂️why?what asobo can do better?
24:17. 💀
needs some wear and tear in cockpit like dcs jets
How in the f*ck did you get your full photogrammetry to actually load up?
Mine won’t work no matter what I do.
That depends on the quality you have it set to and the internet download speed you have.
Im enjoying the sim, and look forward to improvements over the months to come….however, I just cant do the career with those TERRIBLE voices….🤣
