Thank God for wonderful word of God
It is with delight that I find an old friend thought to be in obscurity is a shining light to the newest generations of people who have reached their majority as moral beings passionately coming to terms with the challenge of life and are exhibiting him to others via the internet.
I heard a cry of disappointment when he said he would soon finish, they were feeding on his words and could not get enough of it.
I read the Dust of Death in 1973 at age 30 and put it down changed.
By most estimates, the great commission could be fulfilled within the year but, dismayed, I see my country Australia and much of Europe fallen away from living as if the Kingdom of God was close at hand to them and so few have had their children baptised and nurtured in prayer til they opted in or out of faith in Jesus.
May I humbly suggest to the youth who may read this, keep reading the Bible and meditating on the Word and do not neglect the fruit of the meditations of past generations, the effective members of the communion of saints remains the saints in heaven and the faithful on earth - CS Lewis advice against "chronological snobbery".

Wonderful thoughts you have Shared here. Really wonderful advices for us to prepare for the various challenges that we as Christians we will be facing in this Global world especially as its seem our basics Bible Principles of various churches seems diluting. It my prayer that Churches Leaders will mobilize greater influences in Foreign Policies of their respectives Countries they belongs.
I think that we are seeing this played out today: From 17:58 - 18:35. I also believe that the Lord has been preparing us quietly for this time, and beyond for several years now.
I first saw Os Guinness speak at Yale in the late 70's.
