Nita Strauss-USA is from the female Iron Maiden Tribute band The Iron Maidens. Ive seen the Maidens live when Nita was in the band. She also plays in Alice Coopers band and recently was on tour with Demi Lavato. You should check out Orianthi, she is another very talented guitar player. She played with Michael Jackson (was going on tour with MJ ) and was in Alice Coopers band prior to Nita Strauss. Great video choice.
The only pro in this was Nita Strauss, the other ladies, very nice guitar players, playing in a band for a audience with a two hour set list is an whole other level! Like Saki and Hazuki from Nemophila or Midori and Miyako from LoveBites 🎸🔥
There are soooo many. Some of my faves are Charo and Sharon Isbin, Bonnie Raitt, Sister Rosetta, Lita Ford, Emily Remler, Poison Ivy, Iv Ford, Joanne Shaw Taylor, Orianthi, Joanna Connor, Sue Foley, Nancy Wilson. Mary Osbourne. I could go forever.
Surprise that Orianthi isn’t there. Toured with Steve Vai at 16 was gonna be Michael Jacksons guitarist for the “this is it” tour before he past away and was also Alice Coopers guitarist for a while too
Yeah man, agree. Plus Orianthi is "established" (to Jamel_AKA_Jamal's point), and she's a good singer too, with a solo career. Also lots of vids out there of her jamming with other greats.
Orianthi also played with the Great Carlos Santana and Carlos said he would be passing the torch to Orianthi. That in it self speaks volumes of Orianthi!

They all play great but none really stand out, except those who don’t toss their long flown hair around their tank top shoulders, seems like a uniform? They all do seem good enough to be in a band but you really need to have them play their own original compositions to get the measure of talent for sure. Coming up with your inspired work is a lot of the whole picture. Playing Hendrix or Eddie V or David Gilmour is not the same, that music is THEM! But the talent here is amazing, that Indonesian girl at 11! Wow, all very good. God bless!
Props to all these amazing female guitarists. They are all very talented. However, and with all due respect to the other females, Tina S might be an alien from another planet. Her skill level is not of this universe...a true enigma. Her covers of Altitudes and The Love of God are unexplainable.
And I agree with you Sophia and the later woman with the black guitar @9:16 Mark are the best, and too bad I didn't catch a name and I watched it 4 times it was sooo good ...they all demonstrated great technical abilities only those two were able to translate their ability with the emotion of what they were playing. The rest subconsciously are playing like I'll show those guys who are fast etc. Sorry Ladies...speed is a thing that anyone can develop and while you displayed all those picking, strumming, muting, and the Eddie Van Halen moves..., Heart and Soul are something else and maybe those just have more emotional experience and thus it translates.
Being able to play someone else’s song is one thing and shows you have skill ,but for me to be a true musician, male or female, I need to hear your own body of work
Tina S has never asked to leave a LIKE on her videos, and she has never asked to buy T-shirts, caps or mugs with her name on it. Tina does not bargain !
You actually skipped the very best of the best Alexandra Zerner absolutely rocks! Go back and watch the "Memoirs Of A Geisha" video again and I promise your jaw will hit the floor by the 4 minute mark of that song!
Only one that was familiar to me here was Sophie Lloyd (She tends to have you focus on a pair of other assets of hers, shes obviously good enough to not do all that compensating, but whatever lol) And Nita Strauss who is Sophies American colleague and "rival",who doesnt go too extreme with the clothes, and still she pulls of more interest to my knowledge. Im not trying to go in on Sophie for flaunting what she got. I just know that in the rock and metal community amongst the women there, there is constant rants about the women wanting to be treated with respect and not as "objects". Then it feels abit weird to see individuals objectifying themselfs to sell theyr music. To me there is a solid difference between being sexy and being "over the top". I would defintly recommend Sophie Lloyds music,i just feel like she goes abit overboard with focusing on her "other assets". Abit like with Jamel mentioning people twerking on tiktok, just one of many reasons why i have said that im allergic to tiktok. I have never registered an account on tiktok, and i never will in the future. No problems with eyecandy in music, but lets keep it somewhat classy. Nita Strauss is a perfect example of stunning beauty, that looks amazing in her "leather outfits",but she doesnt overdo it. Her music is always the main focus,i feel like with many others there is "desperation" written all over them, and then im talking about other genres too, like WAP,Cardi B ...."artists" like that. I find them more suitable for a different entertainment industry, but thats just me. In regards to this list,im surprised to not see Jennifer Batten or Orianthi there,2 legendary guitarists (amongst many more) But like with most lists created by youtube channels,i think its a compilation of the channel owners personal favourites instead of the actual best. Wich is fair enough, people enjoy making lists with theyr own favourites. But that leaves for very misleading titles and headlines! (Be aware,if you look up Orianthi alot of her own videos has a way of getting blocked for reaction channels)
Well this is very subjective at best. Being a great guitarist has more to with composition, technique and understanding how the chords blend. It has less to do with thrashing a solo. I won't take away any of these ladies skills because they obviously can play. But best in the world ? Lets talk about Sister Rosetta Tharp, Joan Jett, Orianthi and Lita Ford. World Class is a complete package or someone who had a lot of influence on todays string masters. In comparison, world class would be people like Jimmy Page, Ry Cooder, Mark Knoffler, Brian May, Roy Clark, and Chet Atkins based on limitless abilities in all music. Second team would be Hendrix, Vaughn, Eddie, Santana, Junior Brown and probably Angus Young. None of these women listed could come close to the abilities of the masters.
These girls are really good, but they got nothing on Molly Tuttle. Seriously, dude. Check her out. She's also up for 2 Grammys this year, not that it means much. And FWIW, she's been a frequent collaborator with Billy Strings. BTW, need to do some more Billy!!

Nina Strauss aside...pretty sure that 11 yro is the best of them. Killing that sweep picking.
Ayu is the best.of this grouping.
Rockloe shoulda been in there!
ROSETTA THARPE RIFFS ARE UNBELIEVABLE CONSIDERING THE ERA WHEN SHE PLAYED__REPLY PLEASE

Sophie Lloyd just did a tour with MGK, she is 🔥on her channel.👍💯
Tal Wilkenfeld.....Watch her bass
My question is, why are we still making lists of female and male guitarists? This isn't boxing.
Nita tours with Alice Cooper.
tina s the best
Where is Orianthi?
These girls are really good, but they got nothing on Molly Tuttle. Seriously, dude. Check her out. She's also up for 2 Grammys this year, not that it means much.
And FWIW, she's been a frequent collaborator with Billy Strings. BTW, need to do some more Billy!!
PEOPLE WHO KNOW OF HER REFERRED TO HER AS THE JIMI HENDRIX OF HER TIME__LISTEN TO SOME OF HER RIFFS AND REPLY__TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK
