Wow, this is very impressive. I love the drone footage too. The machine operator did a great job maneuvering through the tight space available or 'lack of space", at the gate. The horses in the barn remained calm when exposed to the noisy machine next to the barn. It's was nice to see Duke and Earl working together! As always, I enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing. You both do such a Great job putting everything together...❤
Duke and Earl did a great job today. All the horse were great with the loud machines in the barnyard area. So happy you did the tiling in the backyard for the horse's and also Skippy that follows you Jim and Brenda. God bless you both 🙏 ❤❤
That's Duke and Earl...and Duke got his mane roached!!!!!! Yippee!!!!!! Duke is a keeper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤ P.S. Happy you got the rest of the tiling done! That's going to help the barnyard stay much drier for the horses. I did notice Duke wasn't frightened at all by the big "yellow monsters" working the fields today!!! Hopefully he won't be skittish anymore of the yellow monster in the timber woods!!!! Interesting watching the tiling work, thanks for letting us watch again this year!
20:26. Very soggy conditions but doesn’t stop Earl on left and Duke on the right from doing a good job🙌🏼 Hope the tiling does it’s job in making the barn yard nice and dry for you! 🤠🍁
Awesome video, your farm just got a wonderful upgrade. It’ll be nice to have dryer barnyards. I have to say again that your last video with just Bill hauling that tree at the great camp was just awesome. You all worked so hard under what I’d think were dangerous conditions. ❤
They’re doing a great job with the tiling. It should make your fields more productive and your barnyard a lot drier. Our farm in Cayuga County New York has a lot of clay tile for drainage. It was usually laid around 24-30 inches deep. The clay tiles are about a foot long and can be varying diameters. They are laid end to end- water seeps in at the joints.
Duke and Earl is my guess. 😊 They are such a beautiful pair. Duke seems to be getting the hang of his duties. Seeing the tiling machine in action is such an interesting operation. Thank you, Jim and Brenda, for another awesome video. 😊😊😊
HOLY COW! Thats a lot of tiling! Spring will be a lot of work getting plowed. I went way back on the videos and seen these 2 boys as babies. LOL What a difference.
I was going to say, but Jim said it first, that you needed a rock throwing party some day to get them out of there :),,,, them be stones, not just rocks! Love the videos, thanks for sharing your lives and the horses, with us!
Great work with the tiling, gentlemen (equine and human!) and great filming Brenda! Thank you for sharing with us. Did I notice that Earl has his red collar pad back on? If so, his shoulder must be better.
PG here, we have done a lot of drainage work. It is wonderful to finally get rid of the puddles of water and soaking wet fields. I am very glad for you. You will enjoy this next year when the ground settles. I was going to say Baron, but it just did not seem correct, smaller. I know the dark red head is Earl. (Chestnut) Great job done!
Looks like a very smart move Jim and Brinda, I'm rutting for success and will be watched to see how it improves your Barn yard. Out West in Delta Couty Colorado we don't have the water problem you have, wish we did, Have a wonderful day!
Hey Jim and Brenda, The drain tile runs look great. It should really help with spring rain and winter run offs. Once things dry up in the spring 2025 . I would recommend a skiff of less than 1/4 minus gravel on your farm roadways.
Here's a funny one. And im sure others do the same if they would admit it. As Jim is dragging im saying all the commands in my head. Step ha , step gee, ha a little bit. Jim brainwashed me. Ha. Love your videos
While living in Florida we had area next to home that had poor drainage so we had "french" drain installed which same as Jim project but on much smaller scale.
I feel sure you must be so relieved the barn yards and farmyard are now tiled, lets hope it's not long before you see results with better drainage which will make both life and work much easier for you 😊
Duke Yahoo Your staying At least A While Anyways If I Had The Place And Acreage To Work You and Bill I Would Pay Top Dollar For The Both of Ya Hopefully Duke Continues To Get Better At His Duties As A Working Part Of The Farm and Woods Blessings To Y'all And Please Be Safe ✌️
Duke and Earl!!!! Wow they're coming along great! They all have their tails trimmed. They look nice. There really is an awful lot of water in the fields. That blade is massive.
Duke and Earl! I’ve watched them since they were wee little ones. Their forelocks are trimmed out, I could ID them by that when they were growing up, as one was curlier than the other one 😂. Great team .
I was always wishing you would put stickers on their butts so I could know which horse is which !!! lol. Except for Kenny. He is easy to distinguish. I guessed Duke and Earl just because “I like to say them together!” I actually had no idea. 🤔
When i worked on a farm in malone in the mid 70s i never saw anyone tiling. When i moved to western ny in 79 every body was tiling. Tiling totally changed my farm. Hired another farmer with a backhoe, i was in the ditch with a shovel, long days but well worth it.
Duke and Earl is my guess and they look great working with you. Quite the undertaking you guys had to deal with. We're in the Texas panhandle and never have to deal with standing water. Thanks for videoing this for us see, hopefully the effort will be worth it. KC
I'm sure that it will be nice to have the puddle next to the truck body drained. Duke and Earl. and yes I did find it slightly harder to tell them apart Duke has more blond in his tail and Earl has a little bit of white hair on his face 👍👍👍👍
Note to viewers this is perforated tile. Nonperforated tile is used around trees so roots dont plug the tile. Long needed improvement ! However as wet as this soil is. Should consider placing a tile every 5 steps ( yards ). And every 20 feet fill the trench with 3 inch rocks. But that can only be done when " trenching " tile in This is plowing the tile in. When finished use the drone to take some photos......document exactly where the tile are and distances.
Jim,You have interpreted a very huge job but at the long run everything will be alright and foremost the backyard will be dry,we’re glad for you.say hi to Brenda for us,hugs to Bree.)))
Thank you both for clearing up "Tiling" . With Brenda's making the connection to previous use of tile, that reminded me of a tile trough near our property that I guess was in fact early "Tiling"...
🧐 Per usual the tiling interesting, informative, I like Dukes haircut 🤭👍 , wonderful intermingling modernity heavy equipment, horses me personally I like! Jim/Brenda 👍👋
I was thinking about Duke being more spooky than is ideal and taking him with you every time you go out and just leaving him tied to the trailer to get used to noise at his own pace 😊..... logging, horse pulls etc, he just needs lot's of exposure, even if he isn't the one physically working
Duke and Earl in harness. So happy to see them work so well together.
" Got your boots on Brenda"😊😊😊
Wow got 5 thumbs up for my comment " Got your boots on Brenda " Thanks 😊😊😊
Very happy you’re keeping Duke he’s a beautiful and works hard.
I am so thankful you can get this done near the barn. You have suffered with that water problem for long enough! Thank the Lord!!
It's the tow Suffolk's bill & Baron I think. dam got it wrong, duck & Earl LOL. Les England
Duke and Earl look great in their new harness.
It looks so much better after you cliped him
Jim is smart enough to know you don't get rid of a winner
Duke and Earl did a great job. So glad you are keeping them together.❤ Duke is a good boy
Duke and Earl! You cut his mane!!!🎉
Duke will end up being your best horse once he gets his mind together.

I knew that was Duke and Earl. So glad you're keeping him.
I’m so happy you’re keeping all your horses and his mane is cut .
Duke finally graduate! Congratulations Duke!
One of your best yet. No more mud. Now get your grandkids up and have a rock gathering contest in the bsrnyard.
Oh Jim you have a wicked sense of humour .You should be yelling " April Fools Day " ,with your staged photo of Bill and Mr Brute Dozer .😊😊😊
Duke and Earl did a great job today. All the horse were great with the loud machines in the barnyard area. So happy you did the tiling in the backyard for the horse's and also Skippy that follows you Jim and Brenda. God bless you both 🙏 ❤❤
You cut the mane meaning you're keeping him !🎉
He's in the draft horse "graduation" mane cut ceremony lol!
Hooray for Duke!!
That's Duke and Earl...and Duke got his mane roached!!!!!! Yippee!!!!!! Duke is a keeper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!❤

I noticed that Skippy was doing the supervision of the job.
Awesome video, your farm just got a wonderful upgrade. It’ll be nice to have dryer barnyards. I have to say again that your last video with just Bill hauling that tree at the great camp was just awesome. You all worked so hard under what I’d think were dangerous conditions. ❤

Duke and Earl is my guess. 😊 They are such a beautiful pair. Duke seems to be getting the hang of his duties. Seeing the tiling machine in action is such an interesting operation. Thank you, Jim and Brenda, for another awesome video. 😊😊😊
Duke did not try to push ahead of Earl today!! He is really coming along!! Glad you initiated him with his haircut!! 👏
Fun watching the sped up "mud Zamboni" footage! Yay! Duke is working hard to be a team player!
Duke and Earl. Their tails are the giveaway!
At 3147 min. Duke and Earl!!!! Yaaaa for Duke , nice mane trim!!,
HOLY COW! Thats a lot of tiling! Spring will be a lot of work getting plowed. I went way back on the videos and seen these 2 boys as babies. LOL What a difference.

Some tail trimming? :)
Duke & Earl, the 2 young Suffolks. Baron's blonde tail is nowhere in sight on this team.
I'm so glad you're keeping both of them. They make such a beautiful, matched pair.
Great work with the tiling, gentlemen (equine and human!) and great filming Brenda! Thank you for sharing with us. Did I notice that Earl has his red collar pad back on? If so, his shoulder must be better.
the grouser bars on the tracks are impressive.
I think Duke and Earl. They always work great together!😊❤

Baron& Duke
Wow, I know that you're creating a mess now, but it will be so much better in days to come. Good for y'all.
Brenda and Jim . Good morning
So glad he's staying😊😊😊
While living in Florida we had area next to home that had poor drainage so we had "french" drain installed which same as Jim project but on much smaller scale.

That was some incredible machine maneuvering through that gate , also fascinating how tiling works what a relief it will be next few years 😊 ❤
You do have some rocks...looks like a good high school football team project like I've seen some high school teams do...
Duke looks fabulous with his mane hogged ❤
J'espère que vous n'aurai pas à regretter le carrelage á cause de secheresses..... Félicitation à vous et surtout à vos chevaux...

Duke and Earl. Handsome team and Duke is unfazed by all that big equipment. And his mane is roached!! Does that mean he stays....we hope we hope!!!
Duke and Earl , you trained them well
I was always wishing you would put stickers on their butts so I could know which horse is which !!! lol. Except for Kenny. He is easy to distinguish. I guessed Duke and Earl just because “I like to say them together!” I actually had no idea. 🤔
That's going to help so much in the barn yard and driveway, plus the more profit on the fields.
the barn yards need seeding to freshen them up,
a lot t of positive words,,plus the radio on ..always keeps the horses calm...my dad usto whistle tunes...
They have their matching harness on who are there on the opposite side of what they usually are
Earl and Baron!
Duke is in and that is final. I love the look, he is a great representative of his breed.
Graduated from their halters!

Yay... Duke got his big boy haircut
That is really going to do a good job on your wet lands. Nice 👍👍
I really enjoyed watching the tile work. It makes you appreciate the hard work. It is in tight situation.
I'm sure that it will be nice to have the puddle next to the truck body drained. Duke and Earl. and yes I did find it slightly harder to tell them apart Duke has more blond in his tail and Earl has a little bit of white hair on his face

Whar a great solution the wet barnyard>>>>I am sure the horses will really appreciate it. '''''''''''''''''''''fun to watch tiling machines.
Great video Jim and Brenda
Duke and Earl.
Thank you both for clearing up "Tiling" . With Brenda's making the connection to previous use of tile, that reminded me of a tile trough near our property that I guess was in fact early "Tiling"...
we have some old tile made of clay plus a few fittings hta twre used many years ago!
Brenda I believe it's more a trencher/ ditch digger then plow, if I heard you correctly.
Thats a powerful machine! It's gonna be so nice to have a dry lot! 👍 So funny the horses were all looking at Jim w the noise...
I was surprised how smooth coated they were coming into winter. I have had horses the same color that didn t get that big furry coat.
Please keep us updated on the water flow out of the tile lines' it would be interesting to see how much water it is moving out of all the lines.
Baron and Earl
🧐 Per usual the tiling interesting, informative, I like Dukes haircut 🤭👍 , wonderful intermingling modernity heavy equipment, horses me personally I like! Jim/Brenda 👍👋
You have bobed their tails. they look great.
Jim, You threaten to sell duke, of course he is not going to freak out by the evil machine. just kidding!
Da Duke &da Earl is whose doin' da pullin' & draggin'! "D"
I was thinking about Duke being more spooky than is ideal and taking him with you every time you go out and just leaving him tied to the trailer to get used to noise at his own pace 😊..... logging, horse pulls etc, he just needs lot's of exposure, even if he isn't the one physically working
excellent
The lack of mane did make me wonder for a minute but their very similar size from behind made me think it was Duke and Earl.
Great video,
The brothers as a team
Duke & Earl
Earl has his new collar on and so does Duke
Baron and Duke.
