YAESU FTDX 10 MIC EQ SETTINGS USING A RODE POD MIC & W2IHY 8 BAND INTO AN EQ PLUS
THIS IS FOR ME JUST IN CASE i NEED THEM OR IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO TRY THEM

Hi Tony thanks for the video... I'm runnin the ftdx10 , w2ihy but my mics the heil 781 ... I'm struggling to get the audio right as there a weird distortion on the end of my audio..
Please could you let me know your Radio settings

the eq settings for the radio are in the video I keep the mic gain at 35 but check the alc on the radio to make sure you are not over driving the rig ,you also have to check your w2ihy 8 band eq and eq plus and make sure they are set up correctly also make sure you do not have rf in the audio ..try using the monitor feature on the radio and listen to your self till you like what you hear .

@@tonysvets thanks for your reply.. yeah it could be RF.... But where do you set amc level ? Cos distortion goes as I lower AMC but ... unfortunately the drive and too

How does the rode sound on these setting without the w2ihy or any outside EQ please..

they sound good with out the ihy

@@tonysvets thanks.. I tried the rode on settings I have for the standard mic but it sounds quite thin and not enough lows
