Mike you can put that log grapple on the Kubota loader. Actually you are able to get it for your skid steer loader. Where I live the county park department has a few for their mini, and full size skid steer loaders.. You should have a street sign made for the road to nowhere.
The wheel loader uses the same attachment system
Nice reminder to pack the wheel bearings in my lawn equipment trailer. It has probably been 5 years. I only use it 6 or 7 times a year, but one of those times is a 500 mile round trip to WV to go hunting hauling an ATV.
Definitely wasnt much holding that dead tree up. Good thing you got it when you did
Good morning Morgan's from the Gulf Coast !We use a mobile groomer ,who comes to our home and grooms our two rescue Pitts. She washes them and trims their nails ! one of our pitts a is a tripod ,but we don't get a discount because he has one front leg!
A small wheel loader is the way to go unless you need high flow hydraulics. The units I’ve compared that are in the 10,000 lb weight range are around 45 to 50 hp. They offer unmatched visibility and lift capacity. They have great reach also but they only flow 16 to 18 gpm. For my needs the Hitachi, Yanmar, or Takeuchi would be perfect.
Mike , I agree trailer maintenance is crucial . Wih part time used Dump and General Utility and Livestock and Horse Trailers sit a lot . Its important to keep up with the Tires, Brakes and Wheel Bearing Maintenance. For Safety purposes.
What was the 2024 stone load count please? Spent last Saturday at a sawmill. The mill is a Woodmizer LT70. The owner is a regular viewer. He milled a few white oak logs for a friend. I was along to help with the grunt work.
Hey guys. Heard you talking about finding a groomer that has a weight limit on how heavy a dog can be. It is not against you or the size of the dog. It is to save the backs of the people that lift the dog onto the grooming table or wash tub.
Did anyone catch Melissa say "I need to get in the pipe business" She starts to laugh and the video cuts out. 🤣🤣🤣
I caught it.
Back in my construction days I once had a wheel loader on a job for unloading pipe from flatbed semi’s.
It had the same setup as that Kubota. The 2 lift arms with the large single cylinder in the center for curl. Hated it, couldn’t see the forks. Getting under bundles of pipe was tough without a spotter. It could be done but not easy.
Confidence is knowing you can with a smile Arrogance is trying to convince everyone else you can with a smirk.
I remember the process and bring home on the dump trailer. And that's been four and a half years?! Boy, life is at 1.5X speed these days!
Agree! I remember him getting it, just doesn't seem that long ago.
When you pulled into their gravel lot....my brain was thinking ... Mike should have his land plane... Melissa handled the pipe very well... Mike , being able to pull the ditch to you was probably 1/2 of the time
Good morning y'all!!! Hello from British Columbia, y'all have a fantastic day!
Did you ever announce how much gravel you purchased in 2023? I don’t remember hearing who won the contest.
I was just thinking that!
Dido.
He doesn't have the time or the math skills to figure that out, he's to busy adding up how much time he will save with the jack on the new trailer..
@@tyendor1952 My Tally for 2023 was 25,000$
My Tally for 2023 was 25,000$ plus
Looking forward to Melissa's video. That trailer has served you well, and will keep doing so for many years. Once its all stoned and rolled it will be a very satisfying accomplished. Another fine job .. have a great day :)
Looking really nice Mike, coming right along. O BTW you guys, be patient on the stone challenge, i am 100% Positive Mike has not forgotten, and he will announce it when it is time. That is an insult about the timing of the trailer, Mike is a MATH DUDE. for sure. One of the most hardworking, honest man with integrity on the internet, everyone [except for a few trolls] love him and the family. ❤💯🙏
What about adding a solar charger to the lid of that box you have on the dump trailer? I have one on a boat lift and if I use it a lot, like on a holiday weekend, it will take a week to charge the battery, but it I only use it once it's usually charged the next day
next to the land itself that mid-size excavator might be your best buy ever
G'day Mike from North Queensland. I watch another channel, "Wallace Farm and Sawmill" where they have a nice little vegetable garden set-up from which you might get a couple of ideas for your "food patch" down the track a bit. 😀😀
Hi Mike, another great video. Have you considered renaming the "Road To Nowhere," to "Hunter's Road?" Maybe the new clearing could be called Hunter's Pasture, Hunter's Meadow, Hunter's Field, or Hunter's Food Plot. Just a thought. Keep up the great work.
Good morning! We’ve been watching and enjoying your videos for a few years now. The new road, or lane you’ve been working on, will be ending up in a pretty meadow. Has anyone suggested you name it Meadow Lane?
Mike, your biggest fan in AK again. Pipe is around $800 here. That hurt hearing your price... I love your new trailer! Surprised you did not have them replace the jack on the dump trailer with a power jack!
One more thing,, I've owned alot of trailers. Use to haul steel, cars and equipment... One thing I always have done,,,, I add a hot wire to charge the trailer battery as you drive... Why it's not done, especially for dump trailers.... Another thing I think would be great is a 5hp honda engine and hydraulic pump like a lowboy trailer... No battery, and it would dump super fast... Great video, as always...
That's really important maintenance on trailers especially a dump trailer. If I had to stop quickly with bad brakes 3 1/2 ton would just shove me down the road!.
You probably already know this, but those two cherry trees up in the yard with the tight crotch angles are potential problem trees due to splitting during storm events.
You could also look at adding a solar trickle charger - works great on my dump trailer for keeping the pump battery charged.
Good Morning Morgan Family 🌞- Have a Fabulous and Blessed Day 🤠
Of course the “M’s” on the trailer means Mike & Melissa Morgan!
Thanks Mike For The Video!! Loved The Mixed Bag Video! Covering a Few Different Things You Have Going On!!
Thanks Melissa For Your Apearance In Video!!
Keep Smiling On!!
😅👍👊❤️
Good morning all from BUCKS county, pa. Have a day everyone
How is it I have a 10 year old Die-hard Battery in my Ford Truck and it sits all winter and come spring time it starts right up? The old batteries are just built better???? Prices are to the Moon Alice! It's insanely nuts
Good morning Mike, sounds like it's time for a conversation with Neil about that kubota wheel loader.
Having fun with an observation. “Over 20 years - 4.33 days of hitch operations time saved”. Sorry Mike, that is an incomplete cost vs benefit analysis. Need to figure in the expense of the hydraulic hitch, cost of a battery replacement, and required repairs & maintenance to run it approx. every 4 years for the next 20. You also have opportunity cost. I.e. the cost of power hitch vs labor resources required to purchase it. Pardon the bluntness- but faithfully watching your channel over the last few years, you have never kept a trailer or vehicle over 5 years let alone 20. Again, just having fun - know I would love a power hitch on my trailer too and my next one WILL have one.
do not forget, mike is getting up there in age and wear and tear on the joints is no small item. kinda hard to cost factor that but it must be kept in mind
GUESS - Malissa is getting her SWIMMING POOL installed! Mike finally gave in!
My neighborhood in MN is losing a lot of trees due to oak wilt and ash borer as well as age. Really changes the look after 35+ years.
Hey Mike, you need to check out Cox Piping Supply that moved into the old GM rental on 19 across from Highway Equipment. Dude there is pretty nice and has all different pipe and erosion supplies.
I see the old trail down over the hill from the road to nowhere. Is it like route 66? Decommissioned , turned into an historic trail?
I’m hoping she finally got her swimming pool 🙏🏼
@robk1310, No swimming pool, got a new cabin in WV instead.
Goodmorning Mike an family, you are a blessed man....
Good afternoon from Upstate South Carolina. That's a 10% increase year after year for 10 years on the culvert pipe. Archie will be under 70 lbs after a haircut. Have another productive day.
Talk about crazy prices on pipe, I just bought 2-10 foot 4" ABS sewer drain pipe, cost $60 EACH!!!!
Wasn't sure if you were aware, but that trailer requires an annual inspection in PA. Its a joke but anything with brakes requires inspections. Its also hard to find an inspection center.
Looks like u still use the old trail quite a bit. Bunch of skidsteer tracks on it
When is Melissa going to put up all her License plates she received?
Starting to sound like John is a keeper, he is certainly impressing the old man!!!
Good trailer info. Goodyear Endurance only way to go. Just say no to china bombs. I spray 303 protectant on tires, and anyother plastic, rubber that is outside. Also trailer tire covers. Just remember to take off before moving 😂
Hi Mike, instead of the road to nowhere. we're going to call it the road to Eva's future home!
Thanks for the information on the eazy lube wheel bearings . I haven't used them on my trailer yet and probably will take the time to do it the time tested way.
My son has that on 1 of those on his trailers. I pulled the wheel and counted how many strokes it took. 2 or 3 and that was all. I still like to pull bearings and seals every couple of years. We use it daily in the spring and fall, otherwise it just sits.
Melissa turned in the AT4 and purchased a new Yukon Denali….
Not coming up as fast as you would like you did not spread any fertilizer go pickup 100 lbs of 10-10-10 and spread it before the rain. 🤘🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Good morning Morgans and friends.
Day late and a dollar short to the show. Always great seeing you on Mike's channel 😉 Hope you bake the weekend away with your new oven. Or perhaps a new washing machine for Hunter?
Just an idea Melissa for your channel, maybe you could include some footage, drone shots of how your property has changed over the years. You mentioned the trees that are now gone. I think it would be cool to see the difference. Just an idea. Hope your enjoying your new..?? Have a great weekend. Please give Hunter a hug and a high five 👋 for us. Thank you.
Never adjust brakes, never lube bearings, they are worth their weight in gold. Adjust brakes as you drive. Sealed bearings.
Awesome information and video! Keep up yalls great work!
Mike, you owe us the stone total for 2023 and introduce “John” as we’ve seen him splitting wood in the back ground.
12 inch 20 foot long double wall pipe before Covid $90 today 320 in NH
From $90 to $232? Yep... Bidenomics is awesome!
You arent kidding about that hydraulic jack.
Greg from northern Michigan We bought our 'Morgan Special' Moritz 6'10" x 12 14k dump trailer from Bennett Trailer Sales last March 2024 based on your recommendations. We had the trailer GVW sticker rating lowered to 10k like you did earlier. Pat, Lisa, and Autumm there really know their stuff. I really like your new beaver tail equipment trailer too.
Hi Greg from northern Michigan, I'm Greg from southwest Michigan.
Have a Jesus filled day

I recently bought a new JCB 409 wheel loader. I was a little skeptical at first but now find I’m using it very much. Large cab size, easy entry, great visibility etc. Biggest complaint is how it rides….not so good! It porpoises badly and I’ve lowered and raised tire pressures and added weights to rear end. None of which made much difference. If anyone has a solution for that I’d love to hear it!!
Good Morning, Melissa traded in the 2500HD for a Yukon?
I loved the culvert pipe dragging music and trench digging music! Great music find as always Mike. Nice progress on the road to nowhere.
Confidence is you know you're rght
Arrogance is you think you're right
Yes exactly
Does Melissa still make shirts on her press? Haven't seen a merch update in a while.
2 duck-worthy Jeeps at 5:30....jus' sayin'
Regarding diesel prices....We were a our 2nd house In Tennessee last week. Gas was $2.95/gal and diesel was $3.35/gal. In Maryland...gas is $3.50/gal and diesel is $5/gal
On my recent trip to Ohio, I stopped for gas at a Sheets and noticed that diesel was actually priced lower than gas. I never thought I would ever see that again.
Must involve the Bronco trade in, but maybe the GMC went also...
Not quite right Melissa . Confidence comes from having the skill . Arrogance comes from thinking you have skill when you don't ?
Off Topic. Hey, Yinz going to Bantam? We'll be there tomorrow (Friday). That is, of course, daughter Eva let's you borrow the JL! 😃
so.....what ya planing on doing with your 4.33 days??....LOL great video as always!!! have a good one!!
Good morning to Hunter 👋👋😸and family and friends , Happy Purrrsday y'all 😸😺
Good morning happy Thursday hunter do enjoy

Hi BC!
@@johnsadler8637 👋👋👍😸
Mike, just a thought the trailer guy not able to see the forks. Maybe he could add a camera to see the tip of the forks.
Love the guestimate..couple, 3 or 4 hours. Love working on no time table.
Pretty sure I saw a GMC Denali in the background of a previous video… so I’m guessing we got rid of the 2500HD for the Yukon?
I noticed the Red flash look at a Jeep Grill too!
Probably a hybrid at that
Meadow lane would be a good name for the new road.
That was easy! That was awesome! That trailer Jack is the bomb! When I was with my Dad, he'd say why do I need that, I have you!!!!!!
Speaking of price increases, three years ago I paid $1199 for a 2500 gallon water storage tank. Today that same tank sells for $2899. Go Brandon!
Morning Morgans . Can,t wait hear Melisas Surprise . Nice Kubota wheel loader . It is better than the Avonti. Seeya
Excitement builds as the road nears completion! 😮
Geese Mike, it sounds like the jungle out there in the clearing. I can hear all the birds squeaking 😂🤣
Did Melissa finally get her pool??? You go Melissa.
I figured the dump trailer was getting a new jack for sure. lol
Mike..... I know the gears were turning in your head as you were looking at that Kubota wheel loader....me too!🤔
I’m shocked today diesel and regular gas are both $3.23 a gallon in Fort Worth, Texas.
Any update on when you will be starting the cabin work?
arrogance is thinking one is better than every one else
Convince is be comparable in ones own abilities and self
that jack seemed really fast what brand is it
Hi Mike , check with Melissa if she would like to call the new road meadow lane 😊
Good name😁
That person needs a Monitor- camera system for the forks
Is Melissa getting a pool?!?! I guess we'll find out on Saturday.
He never said "never" to that. In fact, they had one on order, but things happen and it got so delayed it just ended up getting cancelled. Mike Morgan: The Dream Canceller! Lol!........just kidding..........I'm not gonna call Concrete with the Hauses and tell him to never help you with your dreams! HaHa!
If Melissa does not get the pool, the grandkids will.
Wouldn't you think we'd have seen some evidence somewhere in the videos?? That's a BIG hole to hide🤔🤔🤔
Can’t wait to see Melissa in bikini!
Why is that ben? :)))
Of course the stone yard….gonna be a big stone year with that “Road to Nowhere “
The enclosed trailer I bought came with the Good Year Endurance tires. In my opinion they are the best tires.
Just name the road “Morgan Road”
Melissa getting her pool? Finally? Maybe a hot tub?
Thanks to the so call state leader for the pipe price
Did Melissa get an all electric vehicle.
another summer without a pool???????????
Malissa probably purchased Mike a "Mudbox". He would never play in that!!! 😁
Lubricate the brakes?
Hmm No Where Road needs a sign
That's not the "Road to Nowhere." It's the "Road to Morgan's Meadow."
