I would argue it's not. I mean, Rilanne and Allen obviously knew, Haku/Clarith knows, and I think Meiko/Germaine and Kaito/Kyle find out at some point, but I don't believe anyone else knows. There worse-kept secrets. If only five people ever found out, it's pretty well-kept.

@@aliabaxter7397 Germaine and Kyle found out before Clarith, they actually found out before Allen even died. They didn't stop his execution because he told them that he killed his foster father and Michaela (even though he didn't actually kill Michaela).

The fact I heard it all in order ( Daughter of evil, Servant of evil, Regret message, and “Bystander” [aka this song that we just heard] ) I somewhat understand the story now.....
The 2 twins of the yellow kingdom was separated at brith. The girl became the queen while the boy became her servant. The girl fell in love with a prince from a blue kingdom but the prince fell in love with the girl with the green hair. The boy twin also meet the girl with green hair and fell in love with her, but sadly he had to kill her because of his sister’s, the queen’s, jealousy. His twin also ordered him to bring a army and to destroy the yellow kingdom and so he did. The blue prince, in rage, join forces with the red kingdom to kill the queen. The male twin told the queen that they were twins and told her to change clothing with him (aka swap places with him) so that she can escape. She escaped and the male twin got killed in her place. A few years later she meet the white hair person which was the green girl’s friend and became friend with her. Then one dusk she was admitting her crimes to the sea when the white haired girl heard it. She wanted to kill her and get revenge for the green haired girl, but the male twin’s soul came back to confront the yellow twin and to stop the white haired girl from killing his sister. So the white haired girl didn’t kill her and didn’t get her revenge.

Riliane and Allen were twins born in the kingdom of Lucifenia. Riliane, the older twin sister and Allen the younger twin brother. This kingdom has Three Heroes: Leonarth Avadonia, Mariam Futapie and Elluka Clokworker.
The twins were not separated at birth. They were always very close to each other and loved each other.
One day, when they were 6 years old (a thing happend but I'm not gonna write so this text won't be too big) Riliane lost her memories. And their father, the king, died frrom a disease.
Allen was adopted by Leonarth Avadonia (so they wouldn't have the problem to who would be the ruler) And Leonarth already had an dopted daughter, Germaine Avadonia. So Germaine is Allen's new older sister.
When Allen was still living with Leonarth and Germaine, at 13 years old, their mother died of the same disease. Leonarth let Allen work in the castle, so the people who new about his true identedy as the prince (The Three Hearoes and the minister +Allen) could compare him with Riliane, to see if he would be a better ruler, and figure out if they should revealed the truth so that Allen could rule insted of his sister. Allen didn't care much about it tho. So he started working as a servant, although he could be a guard, because he had good fighting skills (his foster father taught him). Germaine had a fight with her dad because of this.
So Riliane, after the death of the queen, being the only heir to the thone (or so, everybody thought) she started ruling her kingdom, Lucifenia but she was still a princess. With respect for her mother, Riliane only wanted to be crowd queen when she was old enough, but she was never crowd.
Riliane always hated Leonarth, she reaaaally hated him, but she couldn't kill him just like she kills the others so she ordered Allen to kill him (she didn't know he was his adotpive father).
Germaine found her father's body surronded by other people and it was obviously Riliane's fault. Germaine loved her father very much and always hated the princess (or queen, even if she's a princess she rules like the queen) and swore revenge. She started reuniting people in screet for a revolution.
Meanwhile, Riliane and king Kyle from Marlon were engaged, they always were, it was an arragment. Riliane was really in love with Kyle but Kyle didn't feel the same way.
When he was traviling to Elghgort (the green country) he met Michaela and fell in love with her. But Michaela didn't feel the same way for him (unlike what this dub says), Clarith and Michaela were in love. But even knowing that Michaela was in love with a woman, Kyle broke up the engagment with Riliane. Riliane was furious and started the Green Haunt.
Kyle was was very upset because of this and he joined the revolution (that already had many people by now) to kill the princess.
Then Allen did those things and Riliane escaped.
Now Riliane was 15 and Clarith found her. Clarith is very sweet and gentle and Riliane was still mean and rude, but she got better and they became really good friends (I ship it xD)
Several years later Clarith heard Riliane's confessions.

This first time I heard this I found it heart wrenching then when you hesitated to say precious I felt my heart shatter. You put so much emotion into there and despite a small difference between your Riliane and Micheala voices I could still tell the two distinctly apart.
I'm crying. I'm freaking crying - full out tears and ugly sobs. I mean, I know how the story goes... it was certain I would -- but damn. The end was perfect. Perfect in all levels. That end of .... '...precious' was what got to me because LEN!!

Man....I relate so much to Haku. I was harrassed a lot growing up because of my mental illness and learning disability. It got so bad I attempted suicide. I would have if not for my best friend and basically sister. It was her kind words that saved me that night. I don't know what I'd do if she was murdered.

I'm not the only one? I like to pretend it's just Clarith not realizing that Michaela wasn't interested in Kyle. In the novel, it does imply she thought Michaela liked him(take her dislike of the necklace for example). Then again, maybe you just don't like it for another reason and I'm all alone on the mourning of Clarith/Michaela.

Haha, that comes a bit late but I read that:
Michaela is still alive.
Clarith was told that Michaela orginally was a forest spirit which had been incarnated as a human by magic.
She learned that Michaela had been chosen as the successor of Held and was to become the next Millennium Tree.
Gumillia, a former forest spirit of Held, recited a spell to summon Michaelas spirit from the sapling.
Clarith so spoke with Michalea and sadly found out, that the spell could only be used a few times.
Finally understanding that she had to move on, she and Michaela confessed their love to each other in unison before the ritual ended. After the ritual, Gumillia gave the sapling to Clarith and suggested she plant her in the forest.
The story moves on, but thats what I read about the two and Michaela's death. ^^

Very nice, this is an underrated vocaloid song and Yowane Haku is an underrated vocaloid, so thank you so much for covering this! It's a difficult song to to an English cover of, since the words don't so easily translate and often have to be changed to match the melody. This is perhaps my favorite of the Story of Evil songs, because I can sadly relate to it. All my life I have struggled with low self-esteem and feelings of inferiority. Growing up, I had an older brother who bullied and abused me and made me feel like a burden to our parents. As I entered puberty I struggled with anxiety and severe acne, and it's left me with many scars unfortunately. So I can relate to the girl in the song, the "daughter of white" because I too often struggle with feeling ugly and that I am worth less than others. I feel petty complaining though, because I am very fortunate in that I have two loving, kind parents who have always encouraged me and told me I was smart and praised me for getting good grades. My teachers, too. There was my older brother that bullied me, but you would think one person versus my parents and teachers wouldn't have that much of an impact on my self-esteem. Idk, I just know I can relate to the song and I'm grateful you covered it, so thank you and again good job!

Well, you can read the LNs to see the story clearly. I guess that the Wikia is quite tough for you to understand (Please forgive me if I underestimate you at something 🙇♀️, if you don’t, then yeah, sometimes the Wikia is hard to get in my head tho 😅)
And, yeah, Allen loves Riliane so much that he begged god Sickle to let him save his sister 😭, despite having to stay in the Black Box as his order at that time ☹️
This really needs more attention- at long last , this song gets some love!

So from what I gather about the story:
Rin/Rilianne is crowned as queen, whilst Len/Allen is raised by Meiko/Germaine to become her tool. During one of the court sessions, because she spoke out of turn, Germaine's lover is executed. Later on, when Rilianne's love for Kaito/Kyle is denied because of Miku/Michaela, she decides to destroy the green country. In response to this, Germaine and Kyle raise an army for revolution and eventually storm the castle. Allen, wanting to protect his sister, switches places with Rilianne and is captured by Germaine. Germaine figured out the switch upon seeing Allen, but still executed him and let Rilianne go free. Then Rilianne goes to live as a nun along with Haku/Clarith, who becomes her best friend. One night, when Clarith overheard Rilianne's confessions, she began to boil with rage and resolved to kill her. However, just as she was about to attack, Clarith was stopped by a spirit(Most likely Allen) and she began to realise that Rilianne was just like her. Then Allen is reborn as the Irregular and so begins Master of the Heavenly Yard.
There is so much to this story, and then to realise that it was part of an even bigger story was amazing. I don't think I've seen so many songs that all link together.
I didn't even even finish reading but I can already tell you that you're wrong.
Allen was adopted by Leonarth Avadonia when Riliane and Allen were 6 years old (Riliane lost her memories) And Leonarth already had an dopted daughter, Germaine Avadonia. So Germaine is Allen's older sister.
Riliane and Allen's father died of a disease when they were 6. When Allen was still living with Leonarth and Germaine, at 13 years old, their mother died of the same disease. Leonarth let Allen work in the castle, so the people who new about his true identedy as the prince (only 4 people + Allen) could compare him with Riliane, to see if he would be a better ruler, and figure out if they should revealed the truth so that Allen could rule insted of his sister. Allen didn't care much about it tho. So he started working as a servant, although he could be a guard. Germaine had a fight with her dad because of this.
So Riliane, being the only heir to the thone (or so, everybody thought) she started ruling her kingdom (Lucifenia, by the way) but she was still a princess. With respect for her mother, Riliane only wanted to be crowd queen when she was old enough, but she was never crowd.
Leonarth Avadonia was 1 of the Three Heroes of Lucifenia (the other two were Elluka Clokworker and Mariam Futapie, if you want to know) Riliane always hated Leon, she reaaaally hated him, but she couldn't kill him just like she kills the others so she ordered Allen to kill him (she didn't know he was his adotpive father).
Germaine found her father's body surronded by other people and it was obviously Riliane's fault. Germaine loved her father very much and always hated the princess (or queen, even if she's a princess she rules like the queen) and swore revenge. She started reuniting people in screet for a revolution.
Meanwhile, Riliane and Kyle were engaged, they always were, it was an arragment. Riliane was really in love with Kyle but Kyle didn't feel the same way.
When he was traviling to Elghgort (the green country) he met Michaela and fell in love with her. But Michaela didn't feel the same way for him (unlike what this dub says), Clarith and Michaela were in love. But even knowing that Michaela was in love with a woman, Kyle broke up the engagment with Riliane. Riliane was furious and started the Green Haunt.

And Riliane and Clarith met when Riliane was 15 and Clarith heard Riliane's confessions several years later. And yes, that spirit was Allen.
