Great video! I wish I would have been more careful before purchasing a bottle of black opium off tophatter for $35, I had seen it come up for auction several times and I was so excited when I finally got it for a good price. I didn't read the reviews and didn't think they would have counterfeit items for sale. I received my bottle a couple of days ago and was so excited and I sprayed it and it came out in a thick spray instead of a mist and was very dark orange liquid that has a really light fragrance and it doesn't smell good at all, it reminds me of that throat numbing spray chloraseptic. I received a sample of black opium a few years ago and I remember it being intense and long lasting.
My box is identical to the fake but the bottle inside is closer to the real bottle except the sparkles are more soread out like the fake one, but everything else is like the real one. They are getting better at counterfeiting it I suppose.
Great job. So happy I came across this video. You just saved me from purchasing a fake on ebay.🙄

Daripada experience saya yang 3 kali beli YSL Black Opium over the counter - tulisan Vaporisateur Natural Spray/Vaporisateur Spray dekat kotak depends on country of origin. Ada kilang yang akan put Natural dan ada yang tak letak. (susah nak detect original or not kalau ini sahaja)
Tulisan YSL dekat cap & size cap pula bergantung pada batch. Botol batch 2016 & 2019 saya sama macam cap bottle fake walaupun buy over the counter & cap bottle 2021 sama dengan yang real dalam video.
List of detection
1. Eau De Parfum - Size font besar, tulisan dalam box warna pink
2. Bahagian Belakang - font placement kecil dan tiada sticker FSC dekat belah kanan
3. Untuk original - Fire hazard symbol, 24-Month Freshness & Recycle symbol ada dekat belah kanan bawah sticker putih FSC tadi.

I have the authentic and the fake, from the box and the bottle slightly different, even it (the fake) has batch/prod. code in the box and the bottom of the bottle.
But the scent can't lie, it smells different, the authentic one has the base vanilla which is so sweet and gourmand, and the fake doesn't have it.
