It's great to have you back again, Graham and to see you looking so much better! Your heritage yard is a great idea and a lovely way to display older-style rolling stock. Keep up your amazing work and keep positive!
Well done Graham and glad to see you're feeling better, keep up the fantastic modelling work. I'm delighted you left the manhole scene in the yard, it's so well done and very realistic.
Massive thumbs up, Graham is here. Seriously, we want to see you in the good times (of course) & help you in difficult times - because you're a mate. Nice to know you wanted to do a vid. Made my day.
Lovely to see you back Graham. Thank you for having the bravery to share your thoughts on health. I am sure all your subscribers and viewers wish you all the best for a full recovery and many years more of providing us with great videos.❤
Great to see you back Graham, as someone who has suffered with anxiety and depression, you did the right thing to see your GP and talking to people about what you’re going through, it was something I put off for too long! I’m still on my antidepressants and still have my bad days but since I started this hobby a year ago it has most definitely helped. Keep positive and keeping yourself busy and living your life the way you want to!! Looking forward to more Lakeside videos for more inspiration!
Hi Graham...Liverpool Kev here...I am happy to see you looking 'Quite a bit chipper'......Know what it is like to feel under the weather .....following cancer and ongoing...I have two layouts...an 009 Harbour scene semi portable and a Fixed room 00 scene...Harbour Castle Dairy ...Country Scene etc...I am hopeless at wiring and operation and am in awe of your skill...inspirational scenery and obviously professional running/ wiring etc...what a lot of people do not understand is the joy in creating a little world that doesn't have any worries or cares and makes you proud to create...whatever the standard.....Do take care Graham...You are clearly a 'Thoroughly Decent Sort ' ....and an inspirational Model Maker......Take care...Many Thanks for your videos....Kind Regards.....Liverpool Kev
An unexpected treat to see you back so soon and looking so much better - and the progress with the yard looks great. Gardening and model railways are my recipe for raising spirits too, and making a point of watching UA-cam videos instead of broadcast television helps as well! Take care
Brilliant to have you back Graham and loving to see you doing what you doing the best…..I have been with you almost from the trains on the carpet at the start…you are my inspiration on your fantastic modelling skills and also your honesty about your mental health. My partner is just starting to go through exactly what you are going through so I know this can be all very raw and our feelings can change day to day Always know that for Me your journey through life is a fantastic example of how to conduct yourself in this crazy world…..stay safe and know I will be 100% behind you. Thank you for all your amazing u tube videos.
Hi Graham, great to have you back - a problem shared is a problem halved and all that. One of the more positive aspects of this media is we can share & support each other. I love your layout and layout room, and of course you & your videos in it! That fencing makes for an interesting feature as it delineates from general access. A nice compact heritage yard indeed. Cheers Dave 🙏
Great to hear you’re back and looking forward again. Really enjoyed the video and seeing how the heritage yard is going, plenty of great ideas to help me as well. Take care, best wishes Steve
Great to see you back so soon after the last video. I’m currently helping to look after my father in law who has dementia which is hard work and we have bad day which I didn’t realise were having a impact on my mental wellbeing. I watched your last video and saw how something so small had got on top of you and thought I know how he feels. Luckily after a few good day I’m now feeling much brighter and seeing you back and looking well is great. The heritage yard is looking amazing and I can’t wait to see some footage of it all working. All the best graham.
Great to see you back! You look and sound better. My wife and I both understand depression as we both have had it. She still takes an antidepressant and it has helped her. You are doing your recovery right; speaking to your GP, taking your antidepressant, hanging around positive people, working in house, garden and Lakeside. When I got depressed negative thoughts started taking over. It was dark. But by working my recovery, I started hanging with positive people including my wife. Dropped the things that were keeping me negative. Took walks and worked the garden. My wife's depression hasn't bothered her since. We never left you. Bill and Janet from California
Nice to see you again Graham. Glad you're well and things are going in the right direction for you. Excellent modelling Graham. It's a nice little scene which adds to the overall layout. It will be nice to see it running at some point.
Hi Graham and Hazel. Great positive attitude you have buddy. Brilliant to see you back with the smile back on. Yard looking amazing. Love the idea of the gates. Adds that extra bit of realism. Well done Graham. Love the Yard as well as the rest of your layout. ....Pete....
Didn't expect to hear and see you yet but good on you Graham, heritage yard is looking spot on. I am pleased that you have spoken and involved those close and dear to you, please always remember the modelling number one rule and as long as you are happy with your layout please please ignore those negative comments. I am sure the positive and thoughtful comments out weigh the other ones. Onwards and upwards Graham and if the response is anything to go by you have many subscribers who are 100% behind you. Take care and best wishes to you and Hazel regards Barry.☺👍🤝
Good on you Sir. Takes strength to do what you did. Glad to see you. I enjoy your videos and your raised city scape has inspired something similar on my layout. Cheers.
I am glad you are back and feeling better. The Heritage yard looks brilliant. I also love the way the gates indicate it is a separate area. Hopefully, in the warmer months, visitors will be able to come to the Heritage Yard, which will also generate additional income for the upkeep of locomotives and rolling stock.
Graham Great to see you back.👍 To fully deserve your downtime to recharge. Your work on the Yard looks excellent like the rest of the layout. Thanks for sharing
Hi Graham. Very glad that you have sought help. A combination of the meds and talking to others will help considerably. I know, because I've been there myself. The key is to give yourself time. You will have good days and bad days. On bad days, my therapist gave me many ways to deal with it, but 2 tips helped me the most: 1) remember the feeling will eventually pass, and 2) don't let a bad day derail you. Once it has passed, treat it like a heavy coat, and take it off and hang it up and forget it. Eventually, that chemical imbalance in the brain will be corrected, and you will feel like your old self. It could well take 6 to 9 months. Be kind to yourself, sir.
Really, please, you sourced so advice and help Graham, you're a fantastic modeller, you're work on the model railway is top notch as usual. I look forward to your videos and to see what you come up with next, from making lifts to your working road. You are a very clever man. It's your railway, and you make videos to share it with people like me who don't have one and to go give people who do have one the inspiration to make theirs better. Give our regards to Hazel From the Mennell family in County Durham.
Graham, seeing you back so bright was a real tonic . This community of railway modellers is a wonderful place to be and it's great that you have people to talk to. Full marks to your GP! I envy you having the garden too. When I had one it was my favourite go to place. Now I'm waiting for my baseboards for my layout. Your artistic detail, as I've said before, is an inspiration. How you manage to put so much more on since last time, I don't know. Please keep it up as and when you feel like it 👍❤
So nice to see you back Graham! I totally relate. Had cancer a few years ago, had a bad accident driving a bus and last year lost my daughter in surgery. I'm not superman and these events took their toll! I have had counselling and take Citalopram. The modelling has helped me mentally, a healthy distraction. I wish you all the very best! Take care! Keep up the good work on the layout👍🏻
Great news Graham. So glad that you have spoken to your GP and now are in the hands of the professionals. It'll take time but you'll get there. You may have ups and downs on the way but you have people backing you up. Take care and enjoy your modelling. George.
So glad your feeling better Graham, love the tour of your yard,if I can make a cheeky request could you one day make a small video showing some of your favourite locos from your collection ❤
Hi Graham - nice to see you back again. Not that I’ve ever been had the good fortune to visit but your Heritage Yard reminds me of videos I have seen of the Great Western Visitor Centre at Didcot, which also seems to be adjacent to a main line between Oxford and London and always appear to have steam locos steamed up. Looks fantastic, as does all of Lakeside Model Railroad. Best hobby in the world Graham.
Talking and sharing is certainly one of the answers and so helpful Graham. Just take your time and each day hope you feel that bit better and more like your old self. The yard is looking so good and keep up with the great work, take as long as it requires, no rush.Great to see you back much sooner than I expected. if you see the start of a negative comment just ban it, don'i read it and let it upset you. Good health and happiness my friend. Clive .
Graham, Great to see you looking more yourself and a little more bright eyed. Cheers Mate and remember you have a lot of friends who will help. Just sorry I could not be a wee bit closer. Cheers from down under Wally
Good to see you near top form again, Mr Foulston. … great modeller and great UA-camr. … and sooooooo honest and upstanding. Glad you’re getting help … takes a lot to ask for help (I know through experience)
Some people seem to sail through life, then the rest of us who seem to have everything thrown at us including the kitchen sink. I do hope all the things help Graham, it is good to see you back on here.
Dear Graham, thank you so much for the update. After the last video I didn't dare to write a comment as my english is not that precise and was afraid to hurt you, which I wouldn't intend. I respect you for being so brave to share your situation with us. The social media only is an addition to your valuable hobby and actually a gift to everybody watching your beautiful modelling skills. I can not say thank you enough for all the presents you are giving us while sharing your thoughts and views, even very personal ideas. Your private situation has been very hard in the last years and for us being used to solve problems a logic way depression can be a very hard condition to work on and I'm so thankful you found an access getting along and reorientating. Many modellers like me are very happy you shiw us to create a yard in the restricted space, so really, do not worry at all about that and the development again is a gift and brilliant. Thank you and all the best, Albrecht
After your last video, this video appearing was a pleasant surprise. Glad you talked to the quack and got some helpful advice and the start of treatment. So, basically going forward, keep on taking the tablets and one day at a time. Best regards to you and Hazel. Arthur

Hi, just seen your latest video and am so glad you are getting the help you needed. Keep up the good work and I will be watching your next video. Good luck ❤
Nice to see you back Graham, glad you are on the up, I had a trip by train to London today and paid particular attention to the detritus along the track, which was amazing , together with the huge amount of graffiti plastered everywhere, it was depressing but it gave me a few ideas for my layout, all the best
Glad to see you back Graham. It was a good decision that you sought out professional help. Pray the medications will give you relief. You’ve been quite busy with the yard. I am simply amazed at the progress you have made with the new layout. The yard is looking good! I’ve been at mine for a couple years now and still only in a rough planning configuration. Graham, glad your on the mend. Looking back at Lakeside Mk 2 or so. Having the trackage above is such a benefit to work on. I do believe we see more of your trains now than two to three years ago.
Hi. So glad you are feeling a bit better. The heritage yard looks fantastic. It looks very realistic. Your skills are very good. Love watching your videos . Best wishes.
Great to see you a lot more chipper Graham. At work we used to call them a "greeting meeting" (greeting as in crying, not saying hello!) - sometimes it's just good to get things off your chest. And I'm glad all the comments helped in a little way. Still don't feel any pressure to put out content. We'll still be here when you're good and ready. I follow a number of UA-camrs, and I find it a bit annoying when they feel they have to put out a video explaining why they haven't put out a video on a certain day, obviously in response to comments on this and other formats. It's none of our (viewers) business what else is going on in your (channel) life. Cheers
Hi Graham. Great to see you. Thanks for your honest aproach. We are many who can relate. A hobby like yours is also a great remedy for depresion. Keeping active is the clue. Great to see the yard coming along!
Well, Graham. You certainly have made this great layout come alive 🎉😊 It is always a pleasure waiting to see what accomplishment you've achieved with each video release. With my utmost respect to you in all you have done young Sir! All my very best to you 😀 Iain

Hi Graham, it's great to see some sounding more upbeat than in your last video. The heritage yard is looking great. It really is coming on. I don't know if you've seen it or not, but my grandson's latest video, is a stop-motion animation of the Dukes of Hazzard, racing through Dylington with the Hazzard County Police in hot pursuit. I mention it as it may amuse you and help lift your spirits. Take care James 🙂👍
It’s absolutely fantastic to see you back Graham . Carry on the great modelling
