I recorded this during a sale time but I spoke with them and they said they would give anyone who watches this video a further discount on the yearly subscription. Use Code "RSG16" for $16 off the annual :)
This is pretty awesome! So one thing that you were talking about was clearance telling you Runway heading or a degrees to fly with the rest of the clearance. In my experience, that is given to you when you contact tower while holding short for the runway as in: NxxxMM, on departure fly runway heading, cleared for takeoff rwy xx. or NxxxMM on departure fly heading 275, cleared for takeoff rwy xx.
Yes this is a great point. It must depend on the tower. I’ve mostly gotten the instructions in the Route section of CRAFT, and if departing a Class C or TRSA VFR is when I’ve gotten the initial heading from tower.
This will be great to use for a future IFR student. I plan to do so and then move to PilotEdge for the "real person" factor. Then on to the real world... by then, I should have some solid confidence.
That is exactly what I hope to do! SI really helped me learn the call patterns and what to expect, and it's nice to be able to fly anywhere you want. PilotEdge really upped my game because, more than anything, I didn't want to be that guy mucking it up! Now, just to get on to the third part... Hopefully in 2026 after I get my medical and a boatload of cash saved up so I can fly several times a week
And one request: could you do a video on how to install the GTN750 from Realsimgear in MSFS2020? Ordered your product, installed it yesterday, but the PMS GTN750 doesn’t show on the bezel 🤷♂️?
Demo worked fine, but after purchase of 1 month subscription, the radio 1 com read 'OFF'. Headset test and mic test worked fine. Tried 2 restarts but did not help. Unable to hear or see any transmissions. How do I turn on Com 1?
The G1000 setup has a play button that replays the last transmission. Does your software interact with that button andcan it repeat calls if I miss it?
Anxious to purchase, but the USB aviation headset adapter is out of stock until 'mid-March' which delays my purchase of SayintensionsAI. Any suggestions whereby I could purchase this sooner?
Here is another one. These guys also have a 'Dual' that allows you to plug to headsets into the same PC and control volume a little easier. In case you ever wanted to fly with a friend/student. flightsounds.com/products/solo-ga-general-aviation?srsltid=AfmBOorCXlY30nEWnyqSTbaWQL2ohMma2KxhyRDt0Izkp2XRdoXExZTT
Hey Chad I have your BATD and downloaded and it seems not to be transmitting to ATC is there any way that you guys can help me set this up. I am using my bose A20 headset however noting.
I use the same headset yeah. Did you setup the correct inputs and outputs like it says to do @10:10 ? You can email me at info@realsimgear.com. Just ask for me by name. -Chance
Only 24 hour trial? And 195 a year? That is more than half a year of ForeFlight. I was gonna have my son do this, but I’m gonna be giving him training anyway on the home sim, I might as well do it myself.
@ Im sorry, I still don’t think there is that much value in the product at that price. These home sim’s have a place, but those too cannot replace “high fidelity” simulators or actual time in the airplane. Basic air work and scan, sure. Basic IFR procedure’s, sure. Basic functions of avionics, sure. You don’t need to practice those in these simulators with an AI controller or any controller. Comms are probably the easiest part of this whole thing. Even professionally, our simulator training has abbreviated comms, because the focus is on the flying and procedures. Many position sets. I really like x-plane’s instructor panel for that. There is a reason, Aviate, Navigate, and communicate are in that order. Yes, this is a nice to have, but for most since most don’t have certified sims and those that do usually are doing training with an instructor (acting as ATC) or another pilot anyway. My opinion
Of course this is only good for FAA based pilots……..little use, say in AUS, unless there is some sort of AI in the app that allows it to conform to other regulatory jurisdictions???
Ok in that case it may then be indeed useful…….ill have to then check it out and compare with AUS Airservices…….being an IFR instructor and Examiner I’ll be able to tell!! Cheers
Awesome video. Did the pricing go up in less than a day? You show $179 and I'm see $195 for the yearly subscription. Am I doing something wrong?

Just downloaded the demo. Have only got to try it for a few minutes, but this software is incredible, it's a game changer for sure.

Great video! I think it is amazing software and a great training tool. I learned some things I had missed before so this is very much appreciated!
Yessir! Glad it helped 🫡✈️
This is frikken awesome!!!
Right?!
Hey man, great video! Quick question: how do you change your recorded voice to sound „real“? Plugin in OBS?

What's a good mic that is a best value choice?
Great video Chance!
I’ve missed the emergency checklist section that says say wife’s intentions 😅
Can’t find it 😊
I think I cut that one out for time 😁
Perhaps you can make a full video demoing the app?

VATISM may be? It's free.
@ and that is the thing. When I first set up the sim I signed up for VATSIM and then never used it.
