    I just bought a pair of Moroka 30 gaiters and bino harness and a 45lt backpack, mostly because I wanted to support an Australian company that makes all their stuff here but I also really rate their products, a lot of thought has gone into what they make and I'm really happy with what I've bought 👌

    Check out Snake Protex (only pair I trust because also wear shorts), Australian owned company, made in NZ & designed specifically for Eastern Brown & Taipans (longest fanged snakes in world).

    Good review, ive had both styles of M30 gaiters the first were the camo ones which picked up every bur and grass seed! Absolute pain in the arse as they get in the top of the gaiters and annoy the hell out of you. With those in the bin i bought the canvass green pair and although slightly more noise you don’t end up picking up every fckn bur on the planet😂 i think the new split design of canvass at the bottom addresses this. Not a fan of M30 camo either hence don’t own any and imo it’s overpriced. 👍

    • @tomalophicon
      @tomalophicon 2 роки тому

      It's not overpriced. The Chinese stuff is underpriced. You're paying for the cost of supporting Australian labour.
      It won't be long till it's too dear to buy Chinese stuff and then we'll have to find another option.

    hey mate quick question, do you think the microfiber magnum use is is strong enough to prevent snake bites? Not sure if i should just buy some snake proof boots or keep the current mach 2's I've got and then add hunters element gators on top. (looking to get into hunting so this would be for my first trip out in rural NSW which is full of those pesky brown snakes)

    • @fhckoutdoors
      @fhckoutdoors  3 роки тому

      Never heard of a microfiber magnum, but my advice would be go for something that is certified snake proof if you're worried about snakes.

      @@fhckoutdoors do you know of any what go above knees? My friends uncle had on a pair on but snake end up striking high and got him 4 inches above knee on side of thigh. So now my confidence has went down wearing these styles.

      @@fhckoutdoors thanks for responding, but I found a pair what are built like fishing waders with boots. They are snakeproof up to the belt line. $290 American. After looking at the design I think I can build my own from knee to pant seat area. Then just attach my regular snake gaiters to boots. I need more for fishing than hunting.

    Good review mate. You wouldn`t buy hunters elements as it is made in china and there gear is rubbish. Had there top range pants sent them back on delivery due to zip failure, top range waterproof pants and you guessed it sent them back with zip failure and at the same time got there downpour jacket costing $300 and the 3rd time I used it in rain I got soaked through the zip, shoulder and into the front top pocket nearly destroying my range finder. So I wouldn`t recommend any hunters elements gear.
