This video was filmed in New Orleans Louisiana on a dock next to the Mississippi River . I am from Louisiana and didn't know about it in 96 . I live about 20 miles from New Orleans go figure 🤔💜☮🎶 LOVE PEACE & ROCK N ROLL .

Guuuh I love this song so much. When they used this song in the trailers for Stranger Things Season 4, I was *beside myself* with joy. It was so perfect. And then the way they used it in one of the episodes as well.
During the end of the Escape tour, both Neal (lead guitar) and Ross (bass) were going thru nasty divorces. Steve and Jon wondered why people couldn't separate without destroying each other. That is what this song is about.

OMG... you are a youngin... you didn't know this was Journey!!!.. Come on. I didn't even like this at first because Steve had cut his hair and all.. I was in 10th grade I think.. but my favorite album was Escape.. This had a totally different sound.. I love it now.. I grew up with it.. but not my fav Journey.

I changed my number several times, but his dad worked for the phone company and he used to sneak the equipment out of his van and hook up to the line of my house and get the new number. We watched the first video ever on MYV before we had to go meet the high school band buses (chartered) yo head to New Orleans for a competition. Had to leave at like 3-4 o’clock am! So these are my jams. #ABthrKreator @ABtheKreator,did you have to mention the 80s head turn... I can’t stop laughing now!! It’s like Soap Operas from the 80s!! I’ll tell you what though, I want a push for Music Videos to make a comeback. I can’t with visualizers, lyric videos of TS are good but otherwise boring. Make videos again!!!!! I mean seriously the most expensive thing in this video is what the girl is wearing! They got the instruments already and clearly just got dressed in whatever that morning. He was a dock worker so will use the docks for free and now watching this I feel like we are watching a behind the scenes of a non celeb video, because he keeps looking back to not trip! Just like us and phones! WE NEED MORE VIDEOS!!!! One more rant but “I’ll do it Lightly”, Nickleback is as rock as this (no synthesizer but it’s not the 80s)! So yes Nickleback are a rock band! They are definitely musicians and not actors 😆. As far as reactions and appreciation, you really can't go wrong with any journey song (even ones that didn't get radio airplay or UA-cam attention).
The video was cheesy as hell but man, Steve's vocals are always amazing. BTW he is releasing new music as we speak.

@@ABtheKreator Perry has been mentoring a young artist, Trev Lukather, and he asked if he could cover an old song of his that didn't get radio play back in the day. and also would he please sing on it. He has since talked him into signing with a new label, and new music is anticipated.
