As a legit russian man I was impressed how homelike the city buildings looked. Not like cozy homelike, but the "spooky evening in Russian province" homelike. When you going through almost empty streets of Khrushchev era houses and hoping that you won't see any gopniks tonight. And the landscape is looking so convincing! If you unfocus your vision near bus stop you will be seeing the exact thing many of your russian mans see mid morning at winter. And the village house with it's little curtains was very cute. Appreciate this map builder's research on the topic of russian casual architecture!
I always end up watching these videos at night while in bed, and despite them being about a man desperately trying to survive a zombie apocalypse in a nuclear winter, they're surprisingly comforting.

“Maybe I should build around the lake” I have an idea. Instead of building around it, build UNDER the lake. You can have some farms down there, and zombies just float so they can’t get to you. It’s the perfect defense. Unless you wanna get out, the zombies are gonna hover above the lake. So maybe a little tube to get out.
Make a hole four blocks down, put four carpets, surround your house, the zombies won’t get near your house because according to mob code there is a four block down hole. I didn’t know the zombies can build upwards, yours is clearly the best option.

At the beginning of ruso-ukrainian war chernobyl was seizes by russians because they wanted to threaten ukrainians with potential radiation. I know I'm late but in case you still haven't figured it out yet. Crops never seem to grow and fire doesn't go out or spread because of the tick speed. It's set at 0 it seems.
You should do one like “surviving in the deepest ocean” for 100 days with no land and theres huge monsters like the ghost leviathan from Subnautica. That would be awesome! You should also add some mods with it like oxygen tanks or freezing in certain parts of it and once again, like subnautica you should start in a little pod on the ocean.
This man gotta do like a "Surviving in the most deep ocean" and starts in a small base with some resources to breath underwater like a oxygen tank and some little food!
The horse disappearing is a common glitch, it can happen with most things the player can ride, and to get them to return you just log out of the world and relogin, and then the animal *should* return, if not, completly logical to spawn a new one !

Someone could make a great Canon story of the virus where Forge travels the world trying to find the cure, while encountering new deadly zombies with more and more advantages than him, but he survives the time in every place and eventually finds the cure. It would make a great story in my opinion
One of the reasons I love this series is how much it feels like hanging out with a friend. the tone is very casual and personal and it makes me happy :)

41:19 The best base for zombies is under the water, because while they can break blocks, all mobs have a path finding system that keeps them from drowning except for vanilla zombies and drowned, those guys won’t float. They can swim normally. Edit, so build it out of their block interaction range, and make sure if they can actually swim and force themselves down under the water, make it out of a strong material like obsidian, and multiple layers so it takes too long under the water
@@specialism640 well, then a top layer of obsidian and only a stack or a half of one will do, as long as it’s out of range of their interaction, and there are no caves underneath that they could spawn in
Personally. I think i would have set up a base at the train found in the early days. You got good sight lines. You can make loads of room if you clear out the train cars. And you can use the roof to keep an eye out for hordes. And no restrictions when building your walls.
100 days underwater possibly? Like, having underwater domed cities, and having to survive the possibility of drowning in-between having to move from domed city to domed city?
Maybe one big city dome in the centre of the map, a couple smaller village domes on the rim of the map and individual home pods scattered around the map
To be fair, he has a tendency to cheat himself back to life whenever he dies in a hardcore world. He's done it a good few times before. It's not actually that unexpected that it wasn't over.

Hey Sean, dunno if this was answered or not, but there's a glitch in the game where horses, donkeys and mules turn invisible when you dismount them. To fix this you gotta log out and back in the game. Hope this helps in future vids! Edit: Also, to keep horses and other animals from walking away, you could craft or find a lead and use it on the mob!

It kind of is now with the Caves and Cliffs update. In the mountains you can find deep snow which you sink in and if you're in there long enough you start freezing
When you kept being almost literally ghosted by your horse, I FELT that. I almost never bother with horses in any given game of Minecraft unless I have a lead because my heart has been broken too many times by equines that decided they did not need me.

That's true, but from my experience it gets a little annoying after you've seen all of his Minecraft videos. He has been playing it for over a year now, even if he does use mods most of the time, he should still be able to remember the basics that he has had to use in every video he's made. At this point it feels like he is just intentionally faking ignorance for the sake of content, which I understand, he does need to make a living after all. I just don't think it's a very good strategy for keeping long time viewers interested.

My man Forge, to help with the looting, first double left-click the items that are the same so they can be stacked then collect it, for example, a chest full of arrows, the other has 16 and the other is 8, double left click one arrow so it can automatically stacked then collect, it saves a lot of time hope Forge see this :D

After not playing it for 10 years, watching Forge Labs content got me to play Minecraft again.

Hey Sean, dunno if this was answered or not, but there's a glitch in the game where horses, donkeys and mules turn invisible when you dismount them. To fix this you gotta log out and back in the game. Hope this helps in future vids!
Edit: Also, to keep horses and other animals from walking away, you could craft or find a lead and use it on the mob!

When you kept being almost literally ghosted by your horse, I FELT that. I almost never bother with horses in any given game of Minecraft unless I have a lead because my heart has been broken too many times by equines that decided they did not need me.

That's true, but from my experience it gets a little annoying after you've seen all of his Minecraft videos. He has been playing it for over a year now, even if he does use mods most of the time, he should still be able to remember the basics that he has had to use in every video he's made. At this point it feels like he is just intentionally faking ignorance for the sake of content, which I understand, he does need to make a living after all. I just don't think it's a very good strategy for keeping long time viewers interested.

My man Forge, to help with the looting, first double left-click the items that are the same so they can be stacked then collect it, for example, a chest full of arrows, the other has 16 and the other is 8, double left click one arrow so it can automatically stacked then collect, it saves a lot of time
