  • Learning the Buchla Music Easel, one patch at a time. Here I’ve used a patch by Todd Barton from the Buchla website called Easel Bebop. I added some attenuation from a random source and sent to the CV of the Pulsar to add some randomness to the rate. Then I add an LFO to the CV of the timbre to modulate the complex oscillator.

    that 5 step sequencer has got to be the worst idea ever lol. can you even set it to 4 and not 5?

      You can set it to 4 if you want to be boring, yes

      You are not far from wrong. Outside of the atonal 60's sci-fi vibe, I can't see the virtue of owning an Easel. This isn't a bad piece of music material, but where are the songs, the musical works coming from West Coast synthesis in general? It's all sounding the same to me.
