you forgot about global mushrooms...
Loved the facecheck ad. Its the best lol companion ever and everybody needs to know about.
Poor Ryze didn't get included even though he's the only champ in the game who can teleport multiple allies (not just champions either!)
aurilion sol btw :3
@@Keemochu thats not an ult
Old Tahm ult could've been mentioned as well. His minirework wasn't that long ago.

A good thing that bot games do for this unironically is that the karthus bot will cast his ultimate the second anybody is low enough to be killed by it, it sort of teaches newer players to watch out for that ability, and gives them a little bit of understanding on the power of global ults as karthus bot could be anywhere on the map and kill you anyways.
Karthus' ult ALWAYS gives me anxiety when I'm low health as I'm not sure if I'll be killed by it or not, it isn't helping when my allies stays close to me during that time
It also teaches them counterplay to it. Karthus bots never save the ult to the point where it will maximize the kill chance, so sometimes just drinking a potion as he starts his ult is enough to save yourself.

2:54 I absolutely feel the pain of that Galio when the adc didn’t let him execute to double the gold worth of that cannon minion. His emote says it all.
Twisted fate's ultimate may be the best macro ability in the game, allowing him to exert extreme pressure on all lanes and objectives almost regardless of his position. But in low-mid elo you're more likely to get a TF that ults to lane to catch a wave than use it properly.
the correct way to use TF's ult is to press R every time Akali dives into a team and thinks her smokescreen will save her. RUIN. HER. LIFE.
More like TFs that ult in the middle of a teamfight and immediately die. lol
If you take to it’s not a bad idea to ult to catch a wave sometimes if you know you’ll have to to roam
2:52 That galio not getting the cannon is just the epitome of support players in a nutshell.
Technically Akali's e2 can traverse across the whole map. Definitely situational but can totally counter someone like Shen/TF or someone running TP.
He talks about ultimates but yeah
@@Simptuber Yessir, you are correct. I saw people in the comments mentioning stuff like ASol's e and Lillia's e but nothing about Akali's e2 so I thought I'd mention it.
Also leona's E. I saw someone trying E a recalling enemy, and went zooming to the base instead 🤣
That implies we're not teleporting you into instant and unavoidable death
akalis isnt global as the first shot isnt unlimited
It's nice to see two sides of the same coin be on two different champions; soraka with her life saving ultimate and Karthus with his press R to kill low health enemies
I wonder how many champions this video will feature since if Pantheon's R is considered a global ult, then maybe Taliyah & Ryze would also be here along with the global projectile ults
And then there is both combined with Galio's ult giving all allies a magic shield and knocking up enemies. But tbh imo shen has the best global ult that complements his kit
In the same manner as them, there are nocturne and twisted fate, one granting your team vision and one taking the vision of your enemies.
Although TF, Ryze and Pantheon aren't truely global. We can see TF and Panth's ult in the thumbnail. I think we will see all of those
I feel like Ryze still wouldn't be considered "global", seeing as his range isn't really that far compared to other "ranged global" abilities. Like, even Sion has a longer range than his.
I wanted to let you know that your editing is getting really good these days.
It doesn't feel like a glorified power point like your earlier vids anymore, way more smooth in the flow of the video.
I suppose even though it may be confusing for some newcomers global ultimates should be broken into two categories: "global" and "semi-global" (and second category can even include more champions like Jhin or Caitylin).
Jhin and Caitlyn are a long way from global. I think they should just classify as long range, like Xerath or Ziggs.
Except for the fact that Caitlyn's ult has longer range than Nocturne until he gets 3 points into it where it beats it by only 500 units. Actually a lot of the champions mentioned in the video should really be mentioned as semi-global instead as well (Galio, Taliyah, Pantheon and even Twisted Fate although there are less situation where his limited range is relevant).
@@cokecan6169 Xerath and Ziggs are both global ultimates btw.
@@cokecan6169 That's why I said they only can be included as "semi-global".
Xerath and Ziggs ults have longer range than 1 point Galio and Nocturne and only 500 units shorter than TF, so by this logic every so called "semi-global" is merely a "long range". But if we take Nocturne as an example of semi-global ults and abilities, so are Urgot and Ornn or 2500 units and higher.
I wish aruelions ultimate was global
Don't you love how the identity of a God dragon is a xerath Q with a 2 minute cooldown and knockback
He Needs a rework
Dumbass idea tbh
tbf, if it instantly traveled it would be near impossible to react to and if it didn't then it would be near impossible to hit
I’m a Senna main and there is far more nuance to her ult than people give her credit for.
It can be used as a mini Jhin ultimate to snipe off escaping oponents. It can be used defensively, when someone tower dives you or when a teammate on the other lane gets into a bad situation and needs that shield to escape.
It’s quite effective in teamfight because despite neither the shield nor the damage being too powerful it cover a wide range and that bit of defense and offense can be enough to change the course of a teamfight because a lot of people go in with the expected damage that would be needed to take out the opponent and return safely and Senna’s ult can mess with that up
It is a bit jack of all trades master of none but that how Senna is as a champion, she can do a lot of things without being perfect in any of them.
And despite what it looks like when going against her, the damage hit box is surprisingly narrow.
Overall, it’s a very fun to use and versatile ability
Obsidian dragon lvl 7.
Opinion discarted
You main senna, and I just can't respect that, sorry.
@@h2relic721 I set this profile pic when I was I think 14 and got too attached to change it
Every time I revive on her, I just aim towards any fight happening and go "Hope someones low!" Usually gets me a kill.
The pettiest thing I ever did in league was TF ult into the path of a Cait ult that was gonna kill my teammate, then Zhonya's last second so he died anyway.
(I call it petty and not trolling because he had been toxic all game)
Soraka's global R is also one of her weakness. She uses her ult to help another lane, then she can't use it against an all in on her own lane.
But Soraka heals herself with R, so she gets basically heal refund, which is great when you plan to engage with your ADC
Mastering Soraka can be a little tricky, you have to count your health and mana all the time. You aren't just an enchanter, but also good anticarry
I admit as a Soraka player that her ult can look a little overpowered; especially after the removing grievous wounds change. However, a lot of people who don't play her don't understand how much of her is constant split second decision making that could make or break your lane. Should I use my ult right now while top lane is having their second or third fight to guarantee my top laner gets ahead or hold it because the enemy jungler is bot side? Ok, I ulted and my top laner just won the fight and forced the enemy top laner to back and I happened to get an assist because my mid laner for a kill. Alright now the jungler is running in on us, do I drop my E to deter him from coming at us or drop it to deter the adc and support from assisting him? I force the jungler to walk around my silence because he is too slow to walk our the other side before getting rooted, but the enemy Ashe landed a W and my adc is in danger and nearly dead. Do I use my Q to get the buffed W and get slowed down that much to give my adc a better fighting chance, just use my W for the weaker heal in case my adc gets smacked around a little and have a better chance getting out myself, or just leave my adc to die for their mistakes pushing up too far when we knew the enemy jungler was bot side? That's just a series of decisions in a mere 5 seconds of game time. Soraka may be the easiest enchanter but she's still a squishy weak little enchanter that has to look around like a rabbit looking for a fox on every decision she makes. I kinda don't mind her ult removing grievous wounds even when she is on the enemy team because of that.
@@quickredf0x143 Sounds like any global ult champ 🤷♂️. I'm a Xerath otp and I'm constantly watching the map, looking to assist side lanes/my jungler. The issue is, in contrary to any other global ult, I'm rooted for up to 10s. The enemy can easily figure out where I am based on the edge of my R and unless I'm ulting someone very close-by, I have no vision of my champion at all. In other words, an enemy champion could be sitting right next to me and I wouldn't know it because I'm too busy aiming at the 2hp enemy ADC.
The issue of helping another lane or not as a "split second decision" is a joke compared to Xerath's ultimate's issue lmao.
@@quickredf0x143 This man woke up one day 3 months ago and decided to speak facts
When I first started playing I used to love teleport ultimate. RIP Tahm Kench. Who's old ultimate is still my favorite to this day.
This might not be a new thing since I’m not up on recent videos, but the editing on this video was insane. Felt so smooth and professional
I'm sad that Rek'Sai lost her old ult.
same
aphelios's calibrum marks could be activated from global range after being applied by his turret(sentry)
but that was removed after his release few patches
Yes and we all knew about it with Jankos video while he was screaming “what is hitting me” serval times 🤣
the editing has gotten so much better, now this is epic
Literally started maining AP Ashe Supp (draft games I don’t play ranked) because I live the thrill / power fantasy of being able to snipe someone across the map and create an engage for your top laner or cover your jungler’s escape with an arrow from half the map away, just love that “oomph” you get when you hit a max distance arrow and their champ is left helpless for a few seconds
Karthus ult might benefit from some built in benefits for teamwork. Like say, reducing it's current value but giving it a damage amp on targets hit by hard cc during the cast, with an additional amp in relation to champion damage the enemy took in the same time frame. Something just under current damage value for one trigger and above current damage for both.
It would alos lean into his 'Leader of the Chorus' theme given he'd be better at working with his team.
I'd like to think of Yorick's ultimate as a global one.
Maiden can actively push a lane while Yorick is on the other side of the map, doing the same thing.
Maiden can sometimes even hold her own pretty damn well against certain champs.
Funniest thing is when the Maiden solokills the enemy AD carry because they're so underfed they barely even deal damage

I was literally rewatching skt vs rox today.
It's my favourite set in league history!
Editing was soooooo smooth,
Wow, just realized how exceptional this video was.
10:55 yeap, a pog moment there.
And it's not that rare, tbh I think the shen deserves that because macro should be more impressive than micro. I say that as the main support who probably got rekt by the shen, sometimes they win my respect
Whenever I see Shen actually ult an adc from Top I think “wow, actual team play, cool.”
whether he is an enemy or an ally.
forgot Ryze for the global teleports. nice video, keep it up :D
10:07 as a mid soraka main, I feel obligated to tell you that its healing gets increased by 50% on people below 40%hp increasing it to 292.5+(123.75 AP). Plus it gets rid of anti heal, meaning though, it may not be much, it is pretty much true healing.
These videos just keep improving. Honestly, you deserve more views.
Genuine Question: why do you go to such huge lengths to distinguish "true" execute abilities from finishers, but then lump every semi-ultimate ability into the category of ultimate? The way I see it, finishers & executes are functionally identical, while globals and semi-globals are completely different categories.
On the other hand, semi global ultimates play veeeeeery differently than truly global abilities. How many times has someone played Tahlia, Galio, Nocturne, et al. and been unhelpful in a fight because it's out of range. Not an concern with Soraka, senna, Karthus, et al.
Sure, true executes are more certain in their outcome than finishers, but that difference doesn't really impact gameplay at all. Whereas, gameplay with a semiglobal is totally different than true globals. As soraka, a player can chill bot lane with the adc and press R to impact a top fight, but that same player as galio must roam first, spending valuable time and leaving adc exposed to dives.
A video about QSS taxe could be interesting I think. Some champs are litteraly forcing you to buy this item to be able to fight them. Mordekaiser, Malzahar and Skarner are the most obvious, but also Morgana, Zoe, ...
I like the idea I hate building that
The item really cuts down your dmg.
In magic i like to call the term you denote for ‘super ultimates’ as ‘Threat of activation.’ To describe strength existing due to sheer threat potential
something that might be worth noting about kled and sion, they can be HEARD globally. so everyone hears kled and sion ult but its not always known who its intended for. i do this with sion all the time. i'll save my first ult for one of my first backs. and head straight bot. its so often successful in getting two kills. in fact the only time it really fails is when my bot lane telegraphs it instead of baiting. i imagine same thing can be done with kled but i hate that champ so i don't do it. its cheesey and effective. and theres a good chance enemy top is gonna get flamed for not warning them lol when its both lanes' fault. that being said when its later on in the game, towers are downed and both teams somewhat scattered, hearing that sound can cause everyone to back off.
also kindred can scare off someone with a mark bluff, or trick someone into thinking they're safe assuming a teammate tells them they've been marked.
Fiddlestick ult might as well be global based on how much pressure it give everywhere.
Nocturne's Ultimate USED to be Global. He could give the entire enemy team near sight and jump to any of them back in the day. So fighting a nocturne and getting low after a fight and having things go dark just as you escaped, fittingly gave you paranoia. That was the nerf in 2013/14 that made me less interested in league, was nerfing the range of Paranoia's teleport strike
Yeah I can see why they nerfed it considering TP is a must in pro play. Giving a champion a TP on an ultimate cooldown would be game breaking.
Pantheons and TFs used to be global range too
@@nathanpeck2817 My guess is it was still hindered by lack of vision. + Is not a normal tp, its a tp to an enemy which specially when the mofo gets under tower can go really wrong.
The editing and thumbnails have become really snazzy recently
Good intro Vars!
Fun fact, a fully maxed asol q can stun for up to 3 seconds based on distance traveled, so he has a ash arrow on 10 cd, but it's its only possible to get it while using the e+q combo because you won't get enough distance by just walking, but it's worth because it's a aoe ash arrow
fun bit of trivia jinx ult is Super Mega Death Rocket which as an acronym is SMDR, which if you're toxic enough... well you can imagine what it might stand for lol. hint: add a comma [SMD,R]

Noc's ult at rank 1 IS global. Vision denial is gigantic, not being able to see makes it feel like noc is right behind you, meanwhile hes on the other side of the map.
I’m surprised you didn’t include Quinn since you choose to semi include Kled and Sion, heck for that reason why not include Nunu, Rammus and even Hecarim
@Guilherme Garcia Quinn does tho, and one big strategy of her game play is to dominate lane because range vs Meele push top and roam

i hope lol players are grateful because in wild rift lux's ult has INFINITE range with zero drawbacks on damage and ashe's ult can be manually steered again with zero drawbacks in terms of damage or stun duration
