Spring Vacation Highlights FAMILY VLOG 2023 | Dollywood, Six Flags, Epcot, Sea World, Busch Gardens

Sometimes, we plan trips out months in advance (like when we went to Florida in 2022 or Arizona in 2023), and then sometimes, we plan things a bit more sporadically - which was the case with this trip.
We had been tossing around the idea of a spring vacation for a while, but we just couldn't seem to nail down the logistics. There were just too many places we wanted to visit - how could we squeeze it all into one trip?
So one night, Derrick and I sat down and sketched out several different versions of THIS trip. What if we went here first, there second - no, what if we swapped those around? What's the distance from Dollywood to Fun Spot Atlanta to Six Flags Over Georgia (and why does it seem like it's further than it should be?) Can we squeeze in a Disney park?
We plotted and strategized for HOURS until we finally figured it out. It was like a complicated game of chess - but we were playing with time and vacation days and mileage instead of bishops, pawns, and rooks. We finally figured it all out, booked our hotels, and about 2 weeks later - we hit the road!
The trip was MARVELOUS. We had such an amazing time.
Was it the most relaxing vacation we've ever taken? Far from it - in fact, it might have been the "busiest" vacation we've ever undertaken. But it was still amazing to be away, enjoying time together as a family, doing one of the things we love the most: riding roller coasters.
