  • Discussion about pattern collecting charter arms revolvers. Iraq veteran 8888 talked about it in a lot of his videos, and I have a Few older videos about pattern collecting as well. The concept is just buying multiples of the same brand or model firearm or different variations of the same model firearm to collect them because you like them.

I have 2 Charter Undercovers from the new Charter company. Their CNC machining is excellent and I have had ZERO failures. One piece frame, pins, triple lock up - to ME the perfect revolver. Just don't buy the Charco or Charter 2000 years. The new ones are EXCELLENT!

Great video! I bought my first handgun on my 21st birthday, back in the early 70's. I didn't know anything about guns, and it was between a Colt Official Police and S&W Model 10. Bought the Colt, because it was more money, and I figured it must be better. The Gun clerk tried to sell me on this "new" gun a Ruger Security Six that was half the price. I laughed and said I don't want that cheap ass gun. As I got older and hopefully wiser, I have a tremendous appreciation for older Charter Arms, vintage Amadeo Rossi, and Ruger revolvers. I have started collecting those, and the workmanship, finish, and fit is incredible.

I just inherited my grandpa's '81 undercover. It was in the original box unfired. It is a perfect carry gun. Thanks for all the info great video!!!

Nice collection. I had a blued Undercover that I bought new in the mid 80s, I think it was at least. It's one of the few firearms I've ever let go of, and I really regret it now. I'm kind of responsible for the existence of the CA Professional now. Submitted a product improvement suggestion to CA on remaking the Undercoverette as a 6 shot and offering a 3 inch barrel version. About 15 minutes after that submission, Mr. Nick Eker, the president of CA, called me personally to discuss my idea. It's really cool that they listen that closely to their customers. Well, a few months later, the Professional appeared on the CA website. Yeah, I have lots of Charters to buy. 😁 God bless, Rob

Charter Arms has an excellent warranty and customer service. I bought a bulldog 44 special used and it had a problem. I mailed it to them and they fixed it for free and sent it back to me in Texas within 2 weeks

Wow $169 back in 1981 for that revolver? Thats great! I bought my Kel Tec P-11 for $169 brand new a couple years ago right when they stopped making the gun. Wow that was an amazing deal for 2020! I thought the Kel Tec was going to be junk for how cheap it was but its been one of the most reliable semi autos Ive ever shot. I have nothing but good things to say about Kel Tecs now. Crazy... I also have a lot of Charter Arms revolvers too but the problem is I only see you have 38s? If you are a true Charter fan you have to have at least ONE 44 Bulldog!

Firearms history. Ironic considering how restrictive and anti gun New England is.

I to collect charters. I have one in particular that was converted by magna port. It's an exact copy of the one Gary Busey carried in point break. It's a stainless undercover, 38spl,no sights, ported by them and with the black frame. It's one of my favorites. Lol

Nice collection, I have the.22 pathfinder but it’s the 6 shot and the AR7 survival rifle.

I have a blued charter arms undercover made in Stratford Connecticut in about the same condition as yours that was left to me by my grandma when she passed away. It was her nightstand gun, and it has only been shot a handful of times. I did not know they made them in stainless steel, and boy, does it look awesome! Gotta get one for my collection now. Great video and collection, and I hope you have a wonderful day! ✌️

I have been in the market for a cheap 38 special revolver and just stumbled upon a really nice CA undercover in original box, made in bridgeport. It was only 125 beans so I jumped on it without thinking.

I still haven't fired a Charter Arms yet. Need to get a .44 Bulldog to give to my son when he turns 18. Joke with my name lol but I really do want a Charter Arms someday.

I'm glad you have better luck with Charter Arms than I do. I like how they feel and shoot, but I've owned two and sold two. One was a blued model (can't remember where it was made) that also seemed unfired/fired little. Two boxes it stopped revolving the cylinder. Being broke at the time and not able to afford the fee (since older guns CA charges you to fix) I sold it.

Target Bulldog in .357 is my favorite.
