Watching your tutorials I think 🤔 creative...make a cookie box associated with flavors like the ones demonstrated plus chocolate m&m ...valentine day gift 📦 box 🥰🥰
This is my favorite of them all, I forgot to comment when u uploaded it 😍 It was SERIOUSLY hard to choose 😕 I have to keep up with ur videos. Making these soon! Thanks for the tutorial! 💐
@@CassieSmallwood You're welcome!! You are so nifty with your ideas. I haven't done too much, lately, since I haven't been well, but I like to come around to see what you have done. I love real danishes so this is just super to see!
I’m not a fan of lemon, but lemon looks awesome! Actually they all look yummy!! You are so very talented. I’ve learned a lot from watching your videos. Thank you!!😊
Wow Cassie these came out absolutely amazing!!!!!! You nailed it again, I love watching your tutorials everything always looks so realistic it’s fantastic!!!!
Cassie new to your channel, so glad I accidentally found you. These are so realistic. As soon as you colored the roll I knew it was going to be an awesome tutorial 💐❤️🙏🏽
Hi Cassie. These look awesome!. Do you find it better to paint the clay when it's still wet or when it's completely dry? I'm struggling with the air dry foam clay
@@kellyzylke-roth8780 I also end up usually kind of layering the paint. I go across the whole thing and then go back over some spots to darken them a little more or if I missed anything. I think that gives it more of a realistic look because the color is uneven then. If it's all an even color, it doesn't look as real.
These look amazing! Thank you for the tutorial. Going to make for a theater production of “Calendar Girls”. I’m probably over thinking this but about how much foam clay (wt) for each pastry?
I think they would do well as long as the kids are old enough to know not to try to eat them. Be sure to give the silicone plenty of time to dry. It can stay sticky for a while until fully cured.
Hi there..these are absolutely amazing. Is there another way to color the caulk. I have a project but a very small budget so am looking to not spend too much. Thank u
I haven't. The only ones I've used are Model Magic, Modelite, Playcode3, and BOHS. BOHS is the best in my opinion for holding texture and being easy to work with.
Using different components from several of your videos to make small tarts for a stage prop. When finished do you spray them with something like polyurethane or some other sealer to preserve them?
You don't necessarily need to seal them but you can. I've never used polyurethane so I would recommend doing a test on a small area to make sure if you decide to try it.
How many drops of red and how many drops of scarlet did u use to make the cherry filling? I purchased the same alcohol inks that you use but for some reason I cannot seem to get that gorgeous red color that you got for the filling. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciatedu Thanks in advance! BTW I absolutely adore ur channel!
Thank you! I honestly don't know. I forgot to count 😳 It takes quite a lot. I just keep adding until I get there. The scarlet gives it more of a pink tone and the red adds more of a brighter red. Try adding more of the red if you're not getting the vibrant color. I'll try to be better about counting in the future.
Having trouble with the size of my danishes they either look way too big or way too small... About how long would u say I rolled the dough out to before curling them around?
I've never had that happen but it could be too much Mod podge. Another thing you could try is put it in a small container with a lid and let it settle for a few hours. I think that would help the bubbles rise to the top and pop. Then put it in your bag to drizzle.
@@CassieSmallwood thank you. I am still learning how fake bake so I am not familiar with alcohol ink. The box you show in your video is that something I should invest in, do you use them often in your fake bakes?
@@blossomyourcreativity4960 I do use them a lot but I do a lot of fake baking. You use them when you want a see through color. Some of the things I use them for is jelly type items and resin drinks. If you're planning to do a lot of fake baking, I would get some. I think they're about $10 if I remember right and I've had mine for at least 2 years and they'll probably last another 2. Food coloring works, but usually the colors are limited and it can be hard to get the right coloring to make it look realistic. But food coloring is a good place to start and if you find you're fake baking more, you can invest in alcohol ink.
Love these! they look so realistic. hard to pick a favourite when they all look amazing! a must try for sure. Thank you so much for sharing

Hi Cassie. These look awesome!. Do you find it better to paint the clay when it's still wet or when it's completely dry? I'm struggling with the air dry foam clay
I do both. The paint goes on a little smoother when the clay is dry but that isn't always a good thing when you're trying to get a baked look.
@@CassieSmallwood thank you so much. I'll keep playing around to figure it out. You make it look so easy.

These look so fun to make but I'm wondering if I could use model magic because I'm not able to find foam clay
yes, you can 🙂
These look amazing! Thank you for the tutorial. Going to make for a theater production of “Calendar Girls”. I’m probably over thinking this but about how much foam clay (wt) for each pastry?
I honestly don't know. You could always buy a real one for reference and treat yourself after 😋
How well would these hold up in a kids pretend play bakery?
I think they would do well as long as the kids are old enough to know not to try to eat them. Be sure to give the silicone plenty of time to dry. It can stay sticky for a while until fully cured.
You are very talented.! Thank you for sharing your videos. Do you happen to have a color combo for a fake hot fudge sauce?
I would try a combo of melted chocolate and burnt umber 🙂
That will work great. Thank you!
Hi there..these are absolutely amazing. Is there another way to color the caulk. I have a project but a very small budget so am looking to not spend too much. Thank u
If you mean the clear silicone, you can use food coloring instead of alcohol ink.
@@CassieSmallwood thank u sooo much

12-13 inches I think

Yes! You can use them for so many things. The set I have linked in the materials list is pretty inexpensive too.
