I'm still watching this video. I like the way you are answering this first question. I'm not a universalist. But I'm a wannabe. 😊 I think God in his sovereignty chooses to work with human beings in the context of the free will he gives us. So he doesn't force or coerce us. The question in my mind is: Can the human will hold out forever against the love of God? I can't imagine that it could.
I like what you wrote here... thank you and I agree. And please don't take offense, at my comment , as I'm not saying you're doing this. I'm just sharing. Anyhow, I always think its really interesting how some say God doesn't force or coerce. But yet, these same people believe in a God that would send His creation to an eternal torture chamber. Now if this isn't threats and coercion, I don't know what is!?🤯
I like this. I do have a thought about Father, Son and Spirit overriding our will. It may simply be context and semantics but it seems that in some situations our loving Father would remiss if He didn’t overrule our will, choice, or decision for our safety, like any responsible parent would do. I don’t disagree at all with what you both have said in its context, I’m just saying that there are times that God will rescue us by overriding our will. Thoughts?
I wrote a book titled God Is (Not) In Control: The Whole Story Is Better Than You Think. It dives into God rescuing us. The attached article was eventually further developed and is part of the book. I continue to find fuller language (this article is 10 years old) but I thought I'd share. afamilystory.org/2015/05/the-whole-story-is-the-true-story/
I think so too. Cuz we be some dumb sheeple sometimes, and we will probably need rescuing a time or two. Surely it can't be alllll up to us, we're not that brilliant all the time !? 🤷🏼♀️ I think I'm going to go read that link he posted. I'm curious.
Just to add to this, I appreciate the way John Crowder discusses free will and hell in this video (note that it's part 8 in a series on The Consuming Fire, but still applicable): ua-cam.com/video/-OzfZZdQg2E/v-deo.html
Yes, I think God does intervene in human affairs and override us at times. We find this all throughout the scriptures. But we must distinguish this from exhaustive divine determinism, in which everything in this world is determined down to the last detail by the sovereign God.

@LoveWins777fsh
If hell is simply separation from God. Does God send them, or do they choose it by rejecting Him on earth.
That's so excellent and beautiful. Thank you

No question. I'm sure Paul/Saul of Tarsus would agree with you!

Can justice be retributive and a restorative? I think it can.
Are you universalists? I need to know. Where is belief
I believe in hell and also believe there is a hell
Congratulations.
