Your content is GOLD! Thank you so much!
glad you enjoyed it! :)
Thanks so much for posting this! I had asked Henry to make a vid on this and he delivered! Super informative and just great overall.
thanks for the great suggestion and glad this was helpful :)
This is gold! The one and only video you need to see about breaking into PMM
thanks! glad you enjoyed it :)
This is a relevant video for anyone trying to build a career in product marketing
thanks!
Hey,
Great and informative video!
Would be great if you can make videos on different frameworks used by Product Marketers
np! sure will add this topic to list of content to make in the future :)
Second that!
Great video. How you'd describe a PMM role vs a Media Buyer? I'd say one is strategy and the other tactics, agree? Or is PMM a new umbrella to include all the tasks now? Just seeking clarity. Many thanks.
Thanks! PMM is more strategic, focusing on messaging and all the channels. Media buyer is focused on paid advertising, which is just one of the channels.
Hey Henry, first off, big shoutout for your awesome videos - they've been a game-changer for me! I have a background in marketing research and marketing analytics management, which has equipped me with the essential skills for conducting research and tracking KPIs and OKRs in product marketing. Despite my efforts, I haven't been successful in securing even an interview for a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) role. In my previous roles as a marketing research analyst and marketing analytics manager, I worked collaboratively across teams and had a customer-facing role. I was wondering if you have some guidance for someone like me, transitioning from a non-traditional background into the field of product marketing? Thank you!
Hey! I would focus on your storytelling - how to reframe your past experiences so they're relevant to PMM and make sure that's reflected on your resume. Then reach out to PMMs to network then ask for referrals when appropriate. That should help you land an interview. Check out my interview with Brie (Google APMM) to see how he did it. Also pmmtrack has good resources to help you prep
Thank you so much for your reply Henry! I'll definitely check out both resources! @@thetechpmm
