Sorry for the lack of uploads, but I'm back! Hopefully you guys enjoy this one. As you see in the video, nurse sharks are beyond plentiful and we are just exercising our right to harvest them as fishermen in Florida!
Thank you for explaining how you harvest responsibly! It is so much more than just having a fish hit the minimum measurement when it’s a fish that big with an intensive process. And to the haters- the bag limit is what it is for a reason! If keeping an animal would jeopardize its species survival it would be protected like other species are
@Frank Lopez that’s just a totally unrealistic point of view though. They hold a vital role in the ecosystem but if you’ve ever fished in Florida they are completely over populated and the fishery is managed responsibly. You also must not know that when wolves are overpopulated in certain areas there are limited game hunts to manage their population
One thing I love and respect about this channel is that they show how to not only properly and legally harvest the fish from the sea but how to get the most out of what you harvest. It’s a lost thing in our world and somethingmore people should be doing if they are going to harvest animals.
Thank you guys for doing what you do. No need to explain to us about why you fish and eat what you catch. Have missed you both. Glad to see Brooke and her family too Viktor!
This was one of my favorite vids!!! I'm a land-based shark fisherman - so... I think I requested this vid a while back and so am super excited to see this! Thank you!!! Plus a video with a tarpon and shark catch clean and cook is amazing!!!! Thank you!!! My next catch clean and cook request is - Brook catching and keeping a legally tagged tarpon& - you 2 cleaning and cooking it! Dare you to try it!!!
You two are just as awesome as ever - I swear that every meal that you two make on your channels just looks phenomenal and gets my mouth-watering no matter how much I may have just eaten from one of wife's incredible meals. Thank you for these always great videos and God bless!
No need to apologize for anything. Excellent video. I’ve learned more from this channel about salt water fishing than any other and it’s right on par with freshwater fisherman Richard Gene the fishing machine’s channel so I get salt water and fresh water fishing par excellence! I get so dang hungry watching your shows!
missed you guys, I understand why, so no big deal, I hope your family is feeling better, and I hope we'll see you soon doing what you love, it may be selfish of me but I love your catch ,clean , and cook videos and esp family dinners .... life goes on all we can do is hold onto the memories in our hearts. And celebrate the lives that went before us. God Bless and be safe and well, your avid fan Tom...
Love this video. You're a trend setter. I've never seen the inside of a Nurse Shark's mouth, nice. I've also never seen a catch and cook with one either. Excellent content as always.
Stopped at the 15:00 mark to like and comment. You guys are my favorite YT fishing channel. By far the most adventurous in terms of variety of species and culinary work. Keep doing exactly what you are doing. If there are any haters just ignore them as some people are just clueless. As a still learning fisherman you guys' educational aspects are very much appreciated. If you ever make it to the Gulf Coast (or want to) definitely get in touch and we can explore fishing in my area (Sarasota to Punta Gorda). I have a 24' bay boat that is equipped and ready to go. Plus our piers and jetties are also fun place to fish. Keep up the excellent content! Tight Lines!
Tarpon over 40 inches you're not supposed to take them out of the water, unless you have a tag and plan on keeping it. Very boney fish but not bad eating.
I love your videos, I've watched probably 50-60 of them before subscribing. I actually made your fish piccata recipe the other night for my wife and I and it was fantastic. We live in NC and mostly fish ponds and lakes but we are headed down to the keys for our first time ever and look forward to fishing down there. Love the fact that you do catch and cooks and all the info you give out. Keep up the amazing work you are doing!!
Harvesting a shark is not a crime and they are delicious, so good on you ! My grand parents were commercial fishermen and taught us all about harvest of all fishes. God put them here for a reason and put them here for us. Enjoy the content you put out, keep it up!
Ayyy, Victor and Brook are the best fishing couple in the game! Some interesting results with the nurse shark, looked surprisingly amazing. Last weekend keys bridge fishing caught nothing but nurse sharks and a few Jack's, not too much biting down here right now. Anyways, keep up the excellent work you 2! ✌
I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale & Lived in Key West, ate a lot of fish, but never ate Shark, if we caught them we wade them then towed them out to sea, course that was 65 yrs ago. alot has changed know. I'd like to try it . Thanks for the info. The biggest I caught 287 lb. Hammerhead.
Great Job. I don't feel that you need to apologize for taking the time to be you. Thanks for the videos I appreciate the content. And I know that ya'll take care of the whole process behind the scenes and due al by the laws in the state. Once again I appreciate you guys and love the videos.
Awesome video. I’ve eaten shark 🦈 a couple times but I’ve never had Nurse shark. Looks very tasty but no doubt a lot of effort. Great job and I’m glad a lot of people get a great meal.
Was just wondering where your videos have been. Chad hasn't posted much either since the last time you guys were bridge fishing. Love seeing you guys fish the Keys!
Have you had Chilean Sea Bass? The beautiful white flesh of the nurse shark and the way you describe the flavor and texture reminds me of Chilean Sea Bass which is hands down the best fish I have ever eaten. If you've never tried it I'll trade you a pound of Chilean Sea Bass for a pound of Nurse shark. I doubt I can find Nurse shark for sale! lol Great educational video as usual.
I know exactly what you mean about the texture and taste of the nurse shark. I grew up eating nurse shark as a kid here in the Virgin Islands 🇻🇮. Next time you fry the fillets, stew them in some gravy or make shark balls with meat as you do with stingray meat . It’s been years since I ate some good shark and it’s only because I don’t know my mother’s recipe for it 😂 You guys really brought back some memories for me 👍🏽
Vick i really appreciate the content that you out out, i am trying to become a better land based fisherman, who loves to try new fish, i learn so much from your videos and i know it takes allot of work and allot of effort, Keep up the awesome job.
Would like to see how it is bled and gutted cus I dont know how to do it. I also wanna know what set up you got on your rod. I plan on going shark fishing soon with my shakespeare 700 big water combo 7'6". Hope it holds
You might try using grapeseed oil. It's another high temperature oil with some really good health benefits. No other changes in your fried recipes are necessary! 👌
I want to see the process....how can I get the video...I need to catch, clean and cook one....we have soo many here in Jamaica....maybe I can try a Jerk BBQ fried shark, shark 🥓
Hey, glad to see you guys are well, when youtubers disappear for a while you hope as is well. I want to catch some good eating fish so bad down there........someday we will get there
We missed you guy's! I will be at my beach house on Bradenton Beach next week. Any chance to see you around the Gulf soon.? Glad you are back. Always learn something with you two and family and fun is on the menu too👍
I've caught so many nurse sharks over the years, I've always wondered how they taste. I wonder if their diet and more slow methodical lifestyle attributes to the meat being more tender than other sharks. Would love to see the whole cleaning/prep process.
As always fabulous your professionalism your understanding of when to stop because people might not like that everything is right on point I can tell you from an older fella with experience in the world Rick you’re going to be something someday and you may be many things someday! But your wife be your driving force AND GO FOR IT VIC❤️ Time soon for a little victor😳❤️❤️🇺🇸
Sorry for the lack of uploads, but I'm back! Hopefully you guys enjoy this one. As you see in the video, nurse sharks are beyond plentiful and we are just exercising our right to harvest them as fishermen in Florida!

Return of the king
Glad your back!
We missed you guys.
Exactly! As long as they are plentiful and no meat goes to waste I don’t see a problem! Great content!
3AM in the morning and I'm watching a NURSE shark get fillet
That’s how it be sometimes dawg 😂😂

I'm in the exact same situation rn lol
Yep

Nothing wrong with being human and taking a break glad you’re back it’s crayfish season 🦀
Crawfish lol
Yep we’re happy to see them back
UA-camrs are humans?? ;)
I've lived in Tampa for 20 years and never seen a crayfish. Are there any up here or are they only in South FL?
New Orleans, Louisiana has the best crawfish!!

Three weeks without content felt like an eternity. This video didn’t disappoint! #goat
You guys are great! Enjoy watching the whole process. Love the appreciate of nature, life and the fish providing nourishment.

That ring on Brooks hand is amazing, good job, can't wait to see a wedding video Vic 😊
I’ve only fished when I was younger and didn’t care for it much but after watching these videos it’s all I want to do
