You’re wrong about the boost. You have to exploit an area before you can use the boost. You cant just exploit the boost without exploiting the site. From the instructions “Note: You may choose to Exploit a Site and not use the main rule, in order to access the Boost. You still have to pay the cost to Boost the Site” Good explanation though.
So you can only exploit a location once per round right?

Hi. The game does not come with the rulebook in my language and this video has helped me a lot. Thank you.
Still I have a couple of questions:
- Is it mandatory for each player to spend all order tokens in each round? Or can you spend your turn using a single order token and save and accumulate the rest for other rounds?
- Can it happen that there are two rival bands in the same location and the battle is not resolved? In that case, who is obligated to spend an order token to start the fight?

1) It is mandatory to spend all order tokens each turn. Pg7 under "Issue Orders" says, "Play continues in this fashion until everyone has Issued all their Orders."
2) Multiple gangs may be present on the same location. However, in order to Exploit a location a gang must control the location. In order to control a location that gang must be the only one at that location. So if a gang wants to Exploit a location with other gangs present they would issue a Throw Down order. If the gang that initiated the Throw Down wins then they may immediately spend an additional order token to Exploit that location.

Strange, it seems that my box didn't come with the black market prices card.
Yeah this is a common problem with a certain print run of the game. If you contact Gale Force Nine customer support they will send you a replacement. I actually had this issue with my copy and received the replacement within a couple of weeks.
Just a quick question as I haven't been able to find an answer to this anywhere in the rule book or online.
The Anarchy card 'Counterfeiting' allows to Skim $9,000 and gaining 2 heat.
According to the rule book, skimming does not cost any order tokens and I have taken that as... so long as your dudes are on that Anarchy Card and not contested you can Skim every single turn without paying an order token.
I was playing with two friends yesterday and one of them was on this card and skimmed every single turn but only gained two heat the first time. So does the player gain two heat every time it is skimmed or do you only ever gain two heat the first time you skim and none every other time. She won the game because her and the other player insisted you gain the two heat once. I , on the other hand, insisted she gain two heat every time she skimmed the $9,000.

Ok so a few things.
First, Skim is a type of Exploit (pg 13 first column) and Counterfeiting is an Opportunity. Opportunities are temporary locations (pg 6 middle column). So in order to use Skim on the Counterfeiting Anarchy card the player must Exploit it. To issue an Exploit Order at a location the player must first control that location and then place an Order token in the upper right corner. Once a location is Exploited during a round it cannot be Exploited again that round (pg 7 middle column).
Finally make sure Anarchy cards aren't be left out from round to round. As part of the cleanup phase they are discarded (pg 10).
I think some of the confusion you're experiencing comes from the rulebook stating that "Skim Transactions allow you to take
Cash, Contraband or Guns for free. There’s no cost to Skim items." (pg 13 right column). What this means is that unlike Sell, Spend, and Swap which require the player to first spend either guns or cash (in addition to their order token) the Skim transaction gives the player a benefit without any cost (other than the order token).
So with Counterfeiting ONE player would be able to Exploit that Opportunity ONE time as long as she controlled that location. Then at the end of the round Counterfeiting would be discarded.
Also if it were possible to Exploit it repeatedly then the player doing the Exploiting would also gain those 2 Heat everytime.

Yes, I understand how to exploit and that you can only exploit once per round and yes you are completely right, we was confused with the 'free' part. It makes much more sense the way you described because you are still ordering one of your dudes to 'Skim', so putting an order token on the anarchy symbol makes sense.
How you explained it makes much more sense and I thought there was something wrong with her getting $9,000 per turn. We know that an 'Exploit' can be used only once per round, but with the 'Skim', we were 'skimming' once per go of that round. So, we were racking up contraband and cash each turn. She ended up with so much cash, she needed a friggin' pallet to put it all on lol

So whoever lands on 'Counterfeiting' issues an order token to 'Ride' there and on their next turn, unless contested, expends another order token, which they place on the Anarchy Card's Anarchy symbol, Skim's $9.000, gains two heat and then that Opportunity Anarchy Card is useless and removed upon Clean Up.

good job! it should have more views but I know what that feels like. gale force 9 said they designed a great game but it didn't sell well. Im trying it find it for $3 at the goodwill store! I guess bad ass biker gangs don't play anything but poker darts and pool ; or it would have been more received if it had stills of actual characters and scenes which would have been difficult to license imho its interesting you said "she" I just always say "they" I have old games they say "he or she". I'm thinking say they or theirs. where no man has gone before lol
+Collection THX1138 yeah SoA didn't get enough love in the board game community in my opinion. Not sure why but I think most likely it was a combination of the subject matter plus the fact that many board gamers still are leery about licensed tv properties.
How does the hospital work? Can someone who controls the hospital tile choose to charge people to escort their gang members from the ER?
You know I've never seen that done in a game. However, after double checking the wording it says you can move "one" gang's members from the ER and not "your" gang's members so I would say extorting resources from other players to save their guys is absolutely both legal and very much within the spirit of the game!
I did exactly this in a game once. While two people duked it out in a big fight I sold them the guns to shoot each other with I took over the hospital and then extorted them again to convince me who I should heal.
If you "control" the hospital, then you are the only gang there. If there are multiple gangs there, you cannot order a throw down because it's not a location.
So it s possible to play this game with 2 players??
Not unless you use some sort of variant.

Unfortunately no. I’ve only tried a 2 player variant with a 3 player game once. That was Lords of Xidit and I didn’t enjoy it much so I stayed away from them after that.
