It really takes a special person to do what she does, and she does it well. It must be very difficult reading what these people are accused of doing. She does an awesome job in the name of the people.

Judge Washington is 100% correct. The only way to believe she has no memory of all those incidents is for her to admit she was drinking to blackout drunkeness. Mr. Buck should try a little harder. Only jail will jolt him into compliance.

Love how the Judge listened to Mr. Buck, and without any emotion, rendered bond revoked. When he tried to mitigate surrender, her approach was 'do whatever--I have ordered a bench warrant for your arrest.' He still trying to get out of it. Surprise coming.

Most defendants speak fluent lying.
Two things I can usually count on in any Zoom court hearing:
1. Defendant doesn’t know his/her right hand from the left.
2. People hold their phones down so the judge and all are looking at their ceiling 🤦🏼♀️ or…getting dizzy from all the pacing.
these people try using every excuse in the book. from lotion, to shampoo, mouth wash, perfume, low batteries, stuck in a tunnel, leg fell off, and although they may have never used those excuses themselves, it must occur to them that millions of people have been on probation before them, & tried those very same lies. youre a drunk, thats it.

If the young lady that is in jail pleads to having a problem with alcohol. She would get a lesser sentence. She needs to deal with the problems that lead her to alcohol. Once she heals from her problems. She can heal from her addiction.
I feel bad for these public defenders that have to deal with these intolerable pathological liars that force them to struggle in an attempt to defend the absolutely indefensible. They've got their work cut out for them, for sure.
Additionally, how is that guy supposedly out of town without ANY ride available, whatsoever, which is what he just finished saying 30 seconds ago??

I’ve worked with an alcoholic that would get so desperate, he’d drink hand sanitizer.
It’s been a while since I’ve seen Judge Washington, and I’ve always believed that she’s a really good looking lady, but WOW !! she’s just stunning with those new glasses and that beautiful hair style!!!! ZOWEE (as my uncle Fritz used to say) When the video first started she had this mega watt smile and just wow !!! To be that smart and that beautiful…… oh my goodness 😊

So scary that she is an LPN inGOOD STANDING-omg!!!!! She is suppose to notify the board of nursing when a DUI happens.. this is her second one.. scary that she would be taking care of patients… was she sober at work??
The issue is whether or not it was a felony conviction. Unfortunately, I’ve been involved in several nurse under the influence of drugs or alcohol or diversion. We try to get them to accept treatment, then they are closely monitored. Any relapse, they are terminated and it’s reported to the state. Diversion cases aren’t permitted to work with narcotics. Unfortunately, it’s not documented to the state if they complete treatment. A lot of them quit and move onto nursing homes where there is less supervision. I’ve had at least two nurses who failed rehab, were reported, and permanently lost their licenses. Sadly, it’s more prevalent with doctors and is much harder to track and prove.

I have actually seen a docu on tv that showed some hard core alcoholics drink hand sanitizer because it has such a high alcohol content. The worst part for drinking is your kidneys to process the non-alcohol ingredients. Just the alcohol alone in the sanitizer isn't a problem.
What I can never understand about those I couldn't get a ride to the test centre excuses so often used, is that the person will surely have gone shopping for groceries or gone to a bar for a drink or have friends that have ferried them about to social get-togethers if they don''t have transport. I know the USA's public transport is pretty thin in comparison to the UK, but surely there are some buses?

He deserves gaol time for a flagrant breach of his parole conditions over a period of many months.

Well, it certainly can make you test positive for alcohol...if you DRINK IT! And there are some people desperate enough to drink hand sanitizer. Interesting the 2nd Defendant can go out of town, but can't show up to court to test.

Don’t be coming into judge Washington’s court and trying to pull something over on her. She is entirely too quick, nothing gets past her and she’s clearly a very intelligent woman. So just save yourself some embarrassment and get right to it. She’s also a very compassionate soul.

Remember the 9th Commandment (or 8th Commandment for Catholics): "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour". I mention this because it is not just a religious commandment, it is also temporal law when you're in court. Or else, there's this thing called "perjury" that you can be charged with (and sentenced to up to 15 years under the Michigan Penal Code).
