I think machamp feels lack luster during mid game for ex other all rounder like scissors azu chickenman garchop

The only buff most meele mons need is reducing the amount of stuns and slows present in this game. Like half the meele mons just get kited around against slows
machamp is one of those pokemons that shows you how far the game is from it's early days.
Old school all rounders have a big issue with defenders and even with some support mons.
But, this is something that is wrong with the game in general.
The power creep and point and click has not served machamp well.

Yes, Machamp only deal good damage at lvl 13, until there you're just a big sableye.
Power creep is the real issue, they need to buff him

Its rather luck issue like with Pokemons like machamp and absol if yhey crit very often you are doing good and killing enemies if you dont crit they either get away if its machamp or you straigjt up die if you are absol
Absol can work without landing too many crits though, Machamp is dead if he doesn't even land one
tbf its people fault for playing the bad moveset, you would not have to deal with rng issues if you just played close combat
It's both.... On one hand if u get lvl 9 real fast before 7 minutes then it becomes a force to recon with. But that's rare considering all the other pokemon in the game out scaling it. So it's both
Machamp tbh is a weird case. Upto lvl 5 it struggles a bit but karate chop is a great secure, then it gets dpunch then it can bully a lot of mons till lvl 7 after that it's a bit of struggle as most mons reach their full potential by then and then there is its unite which is one of the biggest game changer. The unite alone makes sure thaf it can't be classified as "terrible".
So honestly its just the power creep as the meta has too many early power scalers and a lot of stuns compared to like a year ago which caused a downfall of many year 1 mons.
There is many way to go about it to fix this issues level recalling being the most efficient( give it lvl 7 or even 8 evo enabling it yo get its evo before first regis more constantly and then exchange the second + move at lvl 11 and 13 allowing a better and more fruitful mid game). Also tweak its ability a bit as it just isn't sufficient in this meta and this can apply to many older mons.
Thus formula can be taken into account for many older mons that has lost their viability too.
Rn I just play machamp as a hit and run burst type character, unless of the opponent is an attacker then I prioritise on the attacker and burst him down. It works quite well with crit champ set, submission (extra crit rate is always good, and the cc stuns longer for sniping out squishies) and cross chop
As a blue badge machamp player I can agree that it requires a bit skill to overpower the enemy team but also in terms of physical strength and defense he just lacks it too much and I just recommend that it should be buffed a bit
I been using d.punch, cc with resonant shield. Gives you free jump ins with a shield.
I didn’t even notice there was a snorlax until you mentioned it was AFK.
The next battle pass is champion style so maybe he can get a battle pass that y Machamp not getting buff maybe 🤔
Submission needs a buff. maybe an area of effect/stun damage (similar to buzzwole’s super power). Close combat could also use a buff like a shield or something to keep machamp alive a bit longer.

Ah the good old days when it was Machamp vs Lucario Top after the Lucario Nerfs. Now both got powercrept but at least Luca has secure and really good early game. 😢

Lol I'm a machamp main and as much as I want it to get some buff, I really think it is a skill issue like I hard carry nearly every game whenever I play him with 90k dmg min
I liked Machamp during the eevee meta a couple seasons ago but he's not good into this bulky meta

I think he needs buffs and not one of those “barely touched” buffs but also not an over buff like they did with TTar.

Compared to other level 9 evolutions he doesnt bring much value except for the unite move, so making it a level 7 evolution would be the best buff in my opinion.

But float stone, charging charm or whatever it’s called, and razor claw Submission! Hear me out. You can run lane to lane as a second jungler it feels helping team fights and objectives. It surprises the enemy as well. Hit and run. A bulkier Dodrio. Maybe a bit less damage. But harder to kill to make up for it.
Can you please make a video about why volt tackle isn't good this game. I didn't really get that. Also stuff like when moon last is good or not
Yeah, machamp needs buffs. But its one of those pokemon that can clutch the game super hard. Its unit move and the team wipe potential it has is the saving grace and lets it clutch out any game

You can do decently well on him if you're well practiced. But he could use buffs to everything really including the passive (but not the Unite).
I wouldn't be mad if Cross Chop damage was a guaranteed crit.
I wouldn't be Submission gave a shield, defenses and had a bit more range on the grab.
I wouldn't be mad if debuffs included stuns and slows for the passive and increased Attack by another 5% to 10%.
I wouldn't be mad if Dynamic Punches range was a bit wider and stunned for an additional 0.25 secs.
Not sure what Close Combat needs but I wouldn't be mad if they gave it something.
I think it can be a skill issue. I had a couple of machamps dominating games.

All rounders that aren’t falinks, gyarados, scizor, and tyranitar have been power crept pretty badly from my experience.
Machamp needs buff yes I definitely agree. But most Machamp players are too egocentric to admit that there could be only one left viable Machamp strategy. That is the energy AMP doomsday button.
Machamp is doing okay and can only perform well with great skills. His mobility is up there. but his tools definitely needs further updates. His saving grace is his ult.. which potentially able to wipe the entire team out. But thats the thing.. Only with energy AMP that this guy can do a team-wipe

@@RemeTiers U gotta try it once in a while bro. You will not make impressive killcounts, but most of your kills will be at the most crucial times like push, regis, or ray. Which are all that matters.
Tho this play requires stacking to reach it's full potential (since OHKO is the main goal). And you have to play him extremely aggresive while constantly farming to narrow the gap between ults as much as possible
Yea i mean doomsday button strat does close to 10k damage that can POTENTIALLY hit the whole team.
You can eject out of it though. Which is a huge problem for this strat. Recently ive had more success with on hit effects builds, focus lenses, claw and electric charm. In combo with x damage more reliable and it kills squishy targets fast enough.
Machamp functions as a speedster which he isn’t even particularly good at might as well go talon flame then
Personally I think the crit build is the "no build" build. Maybe a buff that makes him focus on something different than unite move and crits would be good (Sorry for my bad English, I use a translator)
Speaking of Machamp, I had a both satisfying and dissapointing game with close combat and dynamic punch. 16 KO + 9 Assists, 101k damage, a 3KO streak and a 4KO streak! Also, I played against a razor leaf Decidueye who literally had to get carried by Outrage Dragonite with 4KO Streak, and we were close to getting Ray, but they won in the end. Also, we had three resonant guards and two defenders. But to me, this is a skill issue.
Machamp needs a defense and sp def buff, its a paper compared to other allrounders

I feel too bad for machamp .. whatever we do inside the game even if we put 200% inside the game . Still we will be in losing side .. machamp literally needs buff. His basic attack damage should be buffed or atleast he needs defense buff .
I want them to make machamp 5, 7 and make its unite get a slight cooldown buff. Just so you can use it more because its unite is fun to use.

Machamp is decent but is so outclassed compared to other pokemon there is no reason to run it over something in a similar role. Blaziken, Metagross, T-tar and so many more are just simply better and beat machamp in any fight
I have never seen a good Machamp. I occasionally see good Greninjas and once in a blue moon, good Cinderaces, but never a good Machamp.
I don’t think machamp needs a buff it’s more like Cris needs a nerf but realistically it needs to be a lvl 7 evo
I'm trolling with this mon three games and l win three games, this needs a lot of skills to play, if you don't want skill you should go close combat

It's both, machamp itself has become one of the biggest victim of power creep in unite along side the other top lane knig lucario, it's stats, mechanics, gameplay are all Soo outdated and worse when compared to newer mons, but on the other hand I have seen one too many players unite move air and go in 1v3 situations without levels and/or unite move to not call it a skill issue
He needs a buff. He misses 2 things, most all rounders have in their kit
Sustain or damage mitigation.
This makes him feel more like a speedster that cleans up instead of a sweeper allrounder mon’
His ult is waay too finicky, whenever it randomly goes into a direction i didn’t target it is utterly rage inducing. Honestly i wish they changed it that the punches go off immediately
His back flip is unreliable iable and should work AGAINST mobility moves not get countered by it.
Unless you are ahead his damage is lackluster and you have no real way to outplay the enemy, as a player you get punished HARD if you make a mistake.

Slight skill issue, cuz i can deal on average 60-80k damage with submission/cross chop, but im not exactly most players. But even i agree its just flat out power-crept now. The submission buffs did nothing, and i can deal more damage with a basic attack.

@@AlexO762 blastoise got nerfed recently so not recommended, mamoswine has bad leveling for new players and the two out of four of his moves are kinda hit-or-miss.
Just buy Trevenant As a proof He is so good that a lot of players in tournament uses him
I think machamp is so aggressively bad midgame because you need lvl 9 for decent stats and unite, and your combo still doesnt do much damage until cross chop +
I'm sorry, i've played a lot submission Machamp recently. That probably explains the lowered winrate.

Change its evolutions to 4/7 with unite learned at 8, and I think it’d be ok. Then give it cross chop+ at 11, and I think it’d be good. Like most people are saying here, it’s an allrounder that has just been powercrept too hard without enough buffs to make it worthwhile to pick.
