Ive noticed that being higher level as metagross is a game changer. A lvl 12-13 metagross at ray is fine but gets bursted down. A level 14 metagross can effectively 1v3 and lvl 15 is just unkillable I was forced to jungle as metagross in a recent game, and for the first time, i saw what spragles and everyone else has been saying about metagross. Enemy got ripped to shreds DESPITE having a ttar 💀
ttar outscales metagross because he ignores shields and resistances. Your enemy ttar was trash. Level 13 ttar should be able to solo level 15 meta with gyro.

Honestly. I am gonna play devils advocate and say I'd rather have this metagross be buffed then what we had prior where eevees dominate the meta and late game mons are seen as a niche or a hindrance unless your name is gyarados. He is strong, but he is not S tier strong.
Neither did Ttar, It's the fault of the playerbase honestly that they cannot get over the level 9 scaling while playing solo queue They should have probably reworked it's scaling instead of buffing it's stats which honestly were already absurd Good Ttar player with pocket Comfey or blissey are almost unkillable .. Dropping 120/140 k damage in a good game just normal at this point
They might need to increase Gyro Ball's cooldown since they probably won't decrease the damage after they just increased it. It's nice the Unite move can actually KO now though.
The funniest thing about this patch ia that they ignored gyrados nerfing its unite did absolute nothing gyrados is a fast farmer the nerf was a joke. I just kept laughing menacly when i saw this
Don't really understand why they keep buffing Gyro Ball damage when it's already the preferred move *and* the superior defensive option due to mobility and shield strength. What is Meteor Mash even supposed to provide if Gyro Ball damage is so strong? Unite and Zen Headbutt buffs were perfectly reasonable. Though Zen Headbutt damage is still pretty mediocre and that's not really what the move needs, rather needing changes to other aspects like projectile speed or some additonal effect. Another Gyro Ball buff is strange to me for sure though.
Man I have a tyranitar game that was unbelievably gross, got like 16 Kos the defenses are too high, they could honestly have given him 15 to 20 instead of The whole 30
hey spragels wanted to ask can you do a trev game with curse and horn leach just click horn leach then immediately into curse and before curse binds out you have one more horn leach and then one more due to curse reset horn leach x3 and curse x1

The only buff that metagross needed was fixing that atrocious unite. And not a thing was done to it.
The damage was increased and Zen Headbutt ABSOLUTELY needed buffed.
Gyro did not need a buff
The other buffs were justified though
