While Gordon was busy destroying City 17, Shepard paid visit to other cities and wiped out Combine garrisons. Imagine a spin-off like this. Doom style!
What I want to see is surviving HECU members working with the resistance, it'd make for some interesting tension to see them working with former scientists "Remember how we were sent in to kill everyone in the facility? No hard feelings right?"
And Barney is the last Black Mesa security guard. Maybe the last American security guard in general too? We don't know the overall fate of USA and Americans in half-life universe yet.
@@bizmasterTheSlav Barney was decommissioned as a security guard after the incident most likely. Adrian was MIA and never discharged, so he is the last marine standing.
