  • The previous owner (Bill B), we'll call him, "the best" - had been storing this 1978 Cadillac for many years. He decided it was time to past the car on to a "good friend". Someone that knows what to do with Detroit metal and technology. And that is me! Bill even went as far as getting it road worthy enough to drive 8.5 miles home from the shop that serviced the needed issues with the car - after pulling it from 8 + years of storage. Frank's Tire & Automotive Inc. Bethal Park, PA., - Frank's did the road worthy resurrection to get it on the Uhaul trailer and the rest will be current history. Watch and learn something about real cars from back in the days of Brogenhiem. The 1978 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham.

Next time you guys are in town we'll get something to eat. I would definitely like to eat some burger and fries in this Caddy.

Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment on the video. This Bro Ham just survived a hail storm the other night. I like it, it's solid.

The Cadillac received its first pressure wash with foam cannon the other day. I used Meguiar's Gold Class car wash soap. Then, it rained the next day.

That air valve thing is a load leveler compressor. White is an interesting choice. I recently saw a deep "root beer brown metalic" that was stunning and very rich looking. Happy motoring!

There was a Maserati with a "root beer brown metallic" at the drag and brag show. Almost similar to a Porsche Macadamia Brown Metallic color. I custom painted a VW Golf when that color first arrived back in 08. Gave it a black under base and 4 coats of clear.

Key has to be in the ignition and either in accessory or ignition mode for the glove box trunk release to work -I would try it with engine running first and work your way down to insure its working properly -probably is though. I've owned multiple GMs over the years with that option and they all work the same way. That "air valve" system you pointed on out the left of your engine bay should be your level ride compressor which fills your rear air shocks with air to "level" the rear end of the car -which appears to be working in yours too -Nice! Nice Brogha-Ham!🙂

Thank you, thank you, I just tried your suggestion for the trunk release and it worked!

@@JakeLesada Awesome -just saw the short you filmed. I've never had one of those broken before -so if yours was, you'd be digging into ending fuses and relays. Glad you saved that hassle so you can quickly move on to better work on this machine. Cheers from West Allis WI BTW! Looking forward to progress videos on this!!

I don't have the answer for that, but I'm sure it would have been an interesting drive. Thank you for watching and commenting.
