Nora Que thank you so much for the feedback. I hope you check the rest of the how to on the description (remove faceplate and wiring). Happy it helped. Good luck with your project and thank you again!
Thanks for all your Videos. How would you go about fixing Hazard Lights. Mine for some reason will not turn off! I had to pull the Fuse on it. But that shut off my turn singles too!
Did you test your switch - continuity testing. Pull the switch make sure it break continuity when you turn the switch off. If switch is ok.. look at flasher relay.
@@cbatilo I think I got it wet. So Read that I can wash the FJ Cruiser inside with a hose. So I did. Should not aimed it at the Front Dash. LoL. Should keep it on the flooring. Now Im paying for my dumb mistake. Get a new Toy and break it.
I am an older guy and hard of hearing. I cannot hear the backup alarm so i wired an LED light into one of those spots so now i see the light when i am getting close to hitting something.
I'm planning to tap into the unused fuse slot on my FJ. On the Tap, I noticed the two slots. Which slot do I insert the fuse into? The slot where an 'existing' fuse should go into or the 'new' slot? Or does it even matter since it's going into an unused slot in the fuse box? Thanks a lot for the help!
Look at the tap... the one directly next to the wire is the one going to to extra circuit. Not sure if you have seen this vid.. check it out ua-cam.com/video/kDE35YDC_cQ/v-deo.html
NorCal Woodsman it's just an existing nut an bolt (holding plastic panel against a metal chassis). I just got another nut for it. In a sense I sandwich the o ring wire connector with 2 nuts (1existing and 1 new).
I got it at Target. However, they no longer have it. I found an identical one from Bed Bath and Beyond. Amazon has bunch too. Merry Christmas - Happy Holidays!
Fantastic! Fantastic!! Fantastic!!! You just saved me a couple hours of work by showing me your installation methods.

What size fuse did you use on your tap a fuse?
10 amps but you could use less. 7.5 even 5 will work

What the wire gauge (AWG)that been used for wiring?
I say 12 but if it will make you feel better - safety, go with 10.
