- Pressure vessel design part 2
in this video you learn types of former head , and design series , you also learn how to calculate thickness of pressure vessel head,
basically you learn in this video torospherical head, elliptical head design, head design, elle paidal head,
what is the reference of generally used up to 5 kg/cm2, 15 kg/cm2 etc.? Which book/code/standard has mentioned it?
good .....kindly give step wise complete details of designing the every type of pressure vessels ,Heat exchangers etc with materials with the use of ASME...CODES....
Hello sir please give me your contact number
So much's for everything
Please try to keep units same for particular value i.e: you change pressure unit kg/sqcm and Psi...
If I wrong please correct me...
Overall it was perfect understanding presentation...
Thanks for your practical informations about pressure vessels at first. Secondly, I did not understand "SE" on formula. what is "SE"?
E = weld efficiency, S = maximum allowable stress of the material
When the client orders for 2 caps as per ASTM A 403, grade WPS 321 are you allowed to supply 2:1 heads as per the ASME VIII, DIV. 1? My client rejected the heads, as caps are always as per ASME B16.9, when he did not mention B16.9 neither in hos enquiry nor in his order. Thanks in advance for your kind help.
Design Hub do you have any design course for the pressure vessel I am interested in learning (including paid course).?
When designing a spherical head, does it thickness need to be at least equal to the shell thickness? or can we have a smaller thickness in the head. I'm designing a 96ft tall pressure vessel with a diameter of 8ft.
For a flat head, what if the diameter of the vessel is more than 24in?
I have one doubt sir. What is SE In formula. And it's what will be indicate
is this written in ASME VIII div. 1?
