DC is struggling with his ego when he speaks about his career, but dear and present when speaking about his difficulties with insomnia and life stuff. What a life & career, but a sad ending for sure, RIP DC♡

Real honest and down to earth. That's what makes him so special; Or I should say; one of the reasons. I love that long hair. I wish he would grow it back. PLEASE. Thanks for posting.

If only David knew how great those old songs were at the time of the Partridge show. But now I think he appreciates today how the show touched so many people. He just had to grow up but he is OK now.

The break up of David's parents marriage hurt him deeply and I believe followed him thru out his life He seemed to be borderline obsessed with his father and his death truly broke his heart and he carried around guilt with him which I'm sure didn't help with his depression and alcoholism RIP David You will always be loved and remembered for all the memories you shared with ur fan's We all love you forever RIP

    What's with the meanspiritedness?
Give the guy credit for selling about a jillion-million records and for making a lot of people happy with his music.
Do you want to trade your past family life with his? Didn't think so.

His honesty is so refreshing. It takes a lot of courage to speak so openly about his struggle with depression and insomnia.

Interesting interview. He is at his best when talking about subjects other than himself because he is less rehearsed, self conscious and jaded about it. I suppose it is unfair to judge anyone by their public persona. I teach a tough class and I have to pretend to be someone I'm not there to protect themselves.

I guess. I just think he wishes he could bring back the 70's to rethink how he felt about the music. It really wasn't that bad after all. His singing is all right not fantastic like the old days.

I'm with wkares. David needs more hair - especially covering his huge forehead (I'm only saying that because I too have a huge forehead and I definitely need bangs.)
    :-)

i didn't know of him until i came across his autobiography. i have been reading a lot of autobiographies these days and i found his to be very raw and captivating. i don't know if he is "that bright" or not, but he skipped class a lot. think of the time period - a lot of people were doing the same thing. so what? we all have different skills, talents, and tastes. i suggest you focus your attention on someone you like.
btw, i got the book from the library and didn't spend a dime.
