I was just at there Palatine location and was there for a training seminar, and I learned how to cook on this Searwood , and Matt showed all of us how to cook with a Weber griddle insert on the searwood grill. The cook we did was shrimp fried rice ,and it was amazing and delicious. So glad I went to that seminar, thanks again Matt!!
What's with all these companies refusing to add an extra 2 wheels to these? Nobody wants to lug a heavy smoker in and out of their patio/garage constantly. They must cost $400 a piece or something, it's actually insane these new grills get passed Phase 1 of design without 4 wheels in 2024.
As a long-time Traeger+ user, I made the switch to Asmoke and never looked back. The ability to control my grilling temperature remotely with Asmoke's app has been a game-changer. No more constant trips to the grill to check the temperature, I can now monitor everything from my mobile device. And the flavor! The different wood pellet options have taken my grilling game to the next level. What really sealed the deal for me was the portability of the Asmoke Essential. Its lightweight design and battery power feature mean I can take it on all my outings. Whether camping or tailgating, Asmoke has allowed me to enjoy the same quality of grilling no matter where I am. #Asmoke.
I think they knocked it out of the park. I had a Gen 2 smoke fire and it was great. But had pellet feed issues and the internals were a little off. But produced great smoked food. I have a solid pellet smoker but this looks dope.
One question please: Does this “Weber Searwood Pellet Grill” replace the Smokefire? Or to put it another way: In addition to grilling, can you smoke with the new Searwood just as well as with the Smokefire?
@@B_L_Smith Sorry, but unfortunately I don't speak English. I can use Google to translate the written word, but unfortunately I don't understand the spoken word in English. That's why I would be grateful for an answer, then I can translate it too.
We ordered the Searwood before the Super Bowl from Ace Hardware. We were given 3 different delivery dates. They kept moving back the date. It's April 10th - over 2 months since our order date. I contacted Weber. I was told that the grills are being shipped and to contact Ace. I did. Ace told me that their Weber rep said that zero grills have been shipped yet. Then, they came back and said that they may be getting the grills into their warehouse by the end of the week. I was told that I may get my grill next week or the following week. I wonder if this 4th target date is just another lie. Is the grill worth this hassle?
When will it be available for sale? I would love to review one. I recently made a video of my 3 year review of the smoke fire. The smokefire can take some abuse, lets see how this one will hold up.

@GrillwithWeber no worries. Today, I canceled my order and brought home a Recteq Backyard Beast. Two months is absolutely ridiculous. I've been in communication with Maria on your Customer Care team. Check out our email communications. There's even a photo of my new Recteq. It's sad that you've fallen so far. I have your top-of-the-line Genesis. I was your biggest fan. The final straw was when I was told by Weber that the grills were being shipped and the Ace guy heard from his rep that they weren't. Very sad.

Weber used to be awesome. Now they cut so many corners on their products, they’re flimsy and cheap. Their griddle is the single worst purchase I’ve made in recent memory.
yep and just like this thing, they re-released a newer "better" model not long after the original.... if I were an original griddle or smokefire owner, I'd be pissed.
2019 is when the SmokeFire was released. It was there first model in the scene. I am happy that Weber has taken the time to listen to its customers and come out with an updated model with more features and better quality!
You guys have lost your way, I know the smoke fire was a complete disaster but this is a basic non- innovative pellet grill. It seems you’re more worried about selling add ons than making a worthwhile product anymore. I’m a loyal Weber fan of 40+ years but after my second genesis died I bought a cheap Pitboss waiting for the smoke fire to get figured out and instead you came up with something that actually offers me less for more than twice the price. I still use my kettle and WSM from time to time but adding a pellet grill was my main goal, unfortunately I’ll be looking elsewhere when my Pitboss eventually dies.
Just curious, non innovative? Not sure if it will work as advertised, but full grill searing, rotisserie and ability to add a griddle attachment as well as smoke? Seems pretty innovative especially compared to their last pellet grill.
@@mahmer09 it’s exactly the same as the older version with the exception of fixing the problems, that’s not innovation. Everything you listed I can do on my cheapo Pitboss at half the price. I’ve waited a long time for this upgrade and I don’t see the value here over other brands right now.
Didn’t you learn your lessons from the previous pellet smokers???? Nothing but major problems. I know it for a fact. I’ve seen them catch fire and nonstop computer problems. I hope you fixed all these issues
@@wyo_garage20 Ok. So the ones that came back to my job that were literally burnt didn’t catch fire? Ok. If you say so. And you say my job stopped selling those pellet grills wasn’t cause they saw what was happening? OK.
@@robertwoods4457 Except I’m not. They literally cannot “catch fire”. So, how dirty were these so-called burnt Smokefires? If they are caked in grease and ash, guess what that’s not a design flaw and a user flaw. Hell, I make it a point to ONLY clean mine once a year, and it’s used heavily multiple times a week, and it’s never caught fire. Had a heck of a flare up with greasy jerky once. But a flare up and “catching fire” are not the same, not even close. Every grill/cooker with an opening to the heat source flares up…every gasser can, every kettle can, any pellet can. That’s simple facts

No need for wheel locks when it sits on the legs without wheels. Wheels locks have been problematic over time. One less thing to replace
