Great vid, need to check fan pressure test top off my head -3.9 and gas rate ok doesn't need full strip clean but its good that you do, also you need to wash it down with water from above the heat exchanger as well ass the front so fan, burner needs to come off. What a statement love Worcester service😂😂, so far 80% off the Worcester which i try to full strip clean and wash down actually makes it worse and then i come back the next day and replace it the heat exchanger .Those fins get blocked at the back, you won't clean it with the Worcester tool pointless tried many time, i use plaster board cutter knife, long one with sharp teeth. Check min and max case off and case on max reading. Great work 👍👍
Yes that’s right, like most videos, this doesn’t show everything done on the visit. To be honest, I’ve never found cleaning it out makes it worse or makes it need replacing, always manage to get the majority of muck out using either compressed air or a jet spray if required. I always clean out regardless of fan pressure as it’s quick and easy enough to do. The Worcester cheese grater type tool is decent but the brush usually breaks at first contact!
Hi RJ Heating, cool vids, but I would replace the electrode gasket and door seal always! Also, a flue integrity test (air intake) is pointless with the case off! Just a couple of tips. I’m not digging you out mate, just a few pointers 👌👍
You’re right on the flue integrity, and the test was done with the case back on after - cards on the table, I’m new to filming and sometimes it throws you off or you don’t manage to film everything or gets cut in the edit etc - but lesson for me to at least update the description. Personally, I only replace the gaskets on the electrode and burner door if required - again, probably should have showed the testing. Thank you for watching anyway, hope to see you back in the future!
Thanks Arif! Appreciate that! They’re called Fluezy from @eightbitghost906 or @eightbitghost on instagram and eBay! He’s a great guy with some really helpful products, especially for tight spaces!
Burner had a visual when taking the electrodes out to check. Not sure why you’d be checking the bearing plate - it’s not a serviceable part and you’ll soon know if it’s sticking. Rumour has it, it’s not actually required and only necessary in really cold climates like Some European countries. FGA checks will also highlight any issues with burner. Thanks for watching anyway

Did you take the burner out and check the barring platt

@@RJHeating I change the top burner seal after 4 years on a full strip down and have a look at the barring platt to see if it's ok
