My favorite loc'd sista 😻 I clicked so fast when I saw that you uploaded 😂. I'm not going to lie, I be low key obsessing over volume. Everything you mentioned was spot on. One of my favorite things to do is spray my hair with water everyday when I take my bonnet off because after it dries it have so much volume. It's weird to me that when I sleep with a bonnet on and take it off in the a.m, my hair doesn't be as flat as it would if I didn't put anything on my hair. Ok so I made a decision to ultimately start retwisting my micro locs because I have a fear of losing volume the more they grow out and I know that by retwisting them, they'll still be small but have more life to them. Interlocking is beautiful but I can't help but to feel like my locs are a little lifeless because of it. I know I have 452 locs but just because I have a lot doesn't mean it'll be super full looking like I want it. I started with finger coils and that part of my hair have loc'd exactly how I want it but the interlocked part just look so thin to me and I can't deal 😅 Though I'm only 8 months in and so they're not nearly as full as they will be, I was still bugging off that interlocked look. Thanks for this video sis

@@DiverseMountains Hey girl 💓 I noticed the same thing when sleeping without a bonnet! Let me know how the retwisting goes comp to interlocking further down the line. I feel like the way the loc looks also depends on which interlocking method is being used.

The blow dryer is such a good tip. I always lean my head forward and stretch my locs after my reties just like I would with my curls. braid outs give sooo much volume and so do flexirods!

@@AliciaSade-uu3xz Do you self maintain or get them done professionally? They might have to combine some locks. Sometimes my edges are thin and they combine it to prevent it from breaking off.

@cilyahowell0529 I go to the african shop to get them done I was thinking I should do them myself

@@AliciaSade-uu3xz If it doesn’t work with you doing it yourself, I would try combining them/ some to save them. They look the same as the thicker sisterlock strands but are just sturdier.
