- This washer pump was found to have failed so a new one was installed.
This repair is same for many models of Rav4s and other vehicles as well.
Most washer pumps can be accessed by removing the splash guard in the wheel well which is an easy and fast repair (about 30 min). - Навчання та стиль
Thanks very much... this is MUCH easier than the A1 Auto video requiring removal of the front fender.
Thank you !
Your method is so much easier! Thank you.
Nice video, thanks! I think you forgot to move the filter from the broken to the new pump.
I suggest what worked for me - when putting in the new pump - I took off the washer and placed it on the hole first - then slide the pump into the washer - worked great. For m with the washer on - I was unable to insert the pump - tried many times (gave up).
Thank you, i appreciate your video.
Hi! Thank you so much for this helpful video. Is it mandatory to take out the tyre? Or it can be done without removing it? Thanks!!😊
Your fricken genius 😊
🥰Useful! How can i get more infro?
Hello! Does this same principle for fuses holds for Toyota Yaris 2010? Same body work type as your Rav4. Thank you for your answer in advance :)
Not sure... but water pump is a low voltage circuit so likely same fuse.
Anybody know of that electrical connector is push tab our slider for removal?
Push tab but it is hard.
I used a long nose pliers to push the tab and remove the connector
@@2BEorNOT2B3 thank you
Does a washer pump go out completely, or can it go out slowly and just pump weaker?
both, but typically they just fail
The mechanics probably lied to you about the removal of the bumper…..lol
As usual trying to hustle the owner…
did you buy OEM or aftermarket pump ?
I tend to buy parts from Rock auto. then I look for OEM equivalent from better brands made either in Germany, Japan or ones that have good warranties or brand names. Often car companies use these same companies to make their parts then they just rebrand them. I also tend to look at pictures of the part to see which country the part is made in as I prefer bearings/seals made in Japan, Germany, USA, Canada vs China.
what was the part number??
