- Hello music lovers and welcome back to The Woodshed!! This week we have a Patreon request- a breakdown of my tune Junktown! In this episode Im gonna teach you how to play the main riff to Junktown note for note, and give you some background on where the riff came from. Once you have the riff mastered jump over to my website and download the "50 watt marshall" axe-fx 3 preset and the Junktown backing track. Then make a video of yourself jamming along and send it to my instagram, I will reshare it! Oh, and make sure to turn the drive and comp blocks off in the preset ;)

Andy, I gotta say that that 3 piece version of Junktown is one of the fullest sounding groove kick ass songs I have heard. Seen many trios that when the guitarist goes to solo, the bottom falls out, guess it is Uncle Ben spanking that bass silly. Put out instruction DVD.s, ain't into the downloads. I tried to figure out Junkktown on my own, was close, but no cigar, thanks for showing us. And giving Brent M. and Jimmy O. their props. PS, bet Ben Eller, called up his step-dad and said, 'Look at me! I'm playing with Andy Wood, I might be able to help out with some on the groceries! Love you guys, glad ya'll met up. Just no puffy shirts.

@@andywoodmusic I believe some use guitar pro software with something like a fishman triple play to automatically tab for them. probably still needs checked and cleaned up after the fact. Seems I remember Derryl Gabel saying he did this.
