Round-Based Zombies is back! My big issue is the buildables, I think the cold war craft station was dumb. Much rather take the build tables from the older zombs.

I hope the classic point system comes back. Shooting the zombie in the leg 8 times then knifing was the best way to get points in early rounds.
It will never happen. The lead director of zombies said that his son was made fun of so he had to take that skill element out of zombies.

things I'm worried about
1. mystery box being useless again
2. crafting system is lame
3. too obvious ee steps
4. armor system doesn't belong in zombies

i honestly didn't mind the armor system. yes in cold war it was a little better than typical but i liked it. one thing i wish they would do is if they're adding armor, make the game more difficult in general (i.e. more zombies per round, zombies spawn a lot quicker, hit harder etc.) and yes i hated how useless the mystery box was. only being needed basically for the raygun lol
Things that don’t belong in zombies:
1) armor system
2) weapon rarity/tiers
3) no default starter pistol
4) useless mystery box
5) easy Easter egg steps
6) lackluster Easter egg cutscenes
7) bland map that lacks that zombies charm

I agree, I liked starting with a basic starter pistol and go get wallbuys and mystery box weapons to fight and survive.

I agree but issue with that is though what about the ppl who grind for zombie camos and want to choose a specific gun each match and move on to the next, without it levelling up the gun you want could be a chore to find in some cases ,just saying I bet that’s what the devs are thinking

I was hoping for them to remove salvage and crafting tables, because i think zombies just shouldnt drop anything other than powerups and maybe some parts. I want the old crafting system back like bo3 and bo4.

I totally disagree. I really liked that mechanic on CW and thought it added more depth and thought to your upgrades, instead of just find all the parts and can craft with no cost. To be fair, that system was still there for stuff like WWs anyway.

Nah, I want WAW style zombies back. All this BS is stupid. Zombies wasn't an RPG, it was just round survival. Now, we gotta learn a whole ass new game in a new game. EE where simple and fun, now it's mandatory. Mystery box was great, never know how you will survive, now you can start a round with upgraded weapons. Where is the simplicity of enjoying zombies without it being a chore?
I like how Cold War is just the standard previous zombies experience because of the disappointment of vanguard and mw3
I hate that, it was the least amount of content in any zombies game and it was the easiest in every aspect

Yep looks like the same engine as cold war and mw3. Im not sure why everyone is so excited. I get bringing back a crew and gobs are good things but the game is still going to most likely look dull and lifeless like the past few cods.

Yeah, so it's literally cold war zombies but with gobblegums from Bo3, wonder weapons and other guns from bo2 or bo3 and a crew this time to play the storyline. Don't complain again like every other year. I play for 5 years Bocw and so many years bo2 and bo3. I don't cry every year like you and so many others and I don't buy every year the new Cod like the majority which is complaining but buys the game anyway.

As someone who has gone back and played bo1 / bo2 zombies, your not looking for that again, your just miss the memories you had of it, cold war was the best zombies installment we had since zombies chronicles and bo3 had the least amount to offer in the sense of Easter eggs and game play... zombies chronicles 2 on a cold war base would be the biggest W in the history of zombies, all maps remastered with that engine is what I'm hoping for, I'm glad they pulled away from the MWZ take, this is a good move for the zombies community whether yous like to hear that or not

anyone else tired of having random military crew and every single aspect of zombies feeling like multiplayer? Nobody likes crafting, armour, scorestreaks or whatever tf. I miss when the crew was just random ass dudes fighting zombies and not military professionals from campaign/multiplayer. They stripped every aspect that made zombies, zombies. -_-
The original four characters bought a different element to the game, especially Richtofen, his devious voice is missing

So question time are the perks gonna be upgradeable like in cold-war if so I can't wait atleast it'll give players something to work towards in the early days
Liberty Falls will begin with the classic round change music, you will start with the m1911 with 500 points, m14 and olympia equivilents along with quick revive in the spawn room, character dialog, 2 hit health, return of original perks including phd flopper(not slider) and new perks which will appear in later maps, the wooden mystery box(not the plastic looking one), monkey bombs, ray gun, the wonder weapon is extremely rare to get from the mystery box and can only be obtained from it, in the lobby/menu the map has a picture of the zombies walking similar to verrukt, samantha maxis is the power up announcer as she is in the dark aether, it has easter eggs one being a kevin sherwood and elena siegman song and there is one that is almost impossible to solve, the return of the blood money drop(not bonus points) and bon firesale, when you get game over a zombie voice will laugh at you, ...

I really hope it's something like this or similar to bo3 zombies or bo2 or 1, but that's a stretch, given how barebones those ones are. Specifically bo1 and WAW. Who's first zombies map was Kino Der Toten? Back when zombies were actually creepy/scary.
Man I really hope they bring the Chaos storyline. I love the IX, Dead of the Night and Ancient Evil maps.

I haven't played any substantial amount of zombies past bo3 and with the news in this video it sounds like that isn't gonna change anytime soon.
Im just gonna wait for bo3 to be added to PC game pass and custom maps will fullfill my itch for new cod zombies content. Until that happens I'll keep rocking bo1, bo2 and bo3 zombies on my xbox

@@TheLEE16884 eh, to me that feels more like cold war zombies which still isn't my style. Idk it may be the damage numbers and do that pop up on the screen. To me it feels distracting and pulls me out of the experience. Sure in the old CoD zombies your point numbers shoot out like crazy but the difference is that happens in the corner of the screen. It's not so much in your face and doesn't feel invasive of the gameplay.
It's for that reason that if I'm playing a round based zombies game that isn't older CoD's, it'll be killing floor 2 (soon be killing floor 3)
Things that would make this zombies good
1) no health bars on zombies
2) unique zombies style HUD
3) no armor (Cold War was too easy)
4) good story line
5) less obvious Easter egg
6) no exfil
7) normal starting pistol
8) rewards for Easter eggs
9) crates
10) no weapon rarity system

I think if you played the main characters you’ll do main Easter egg, but if you choose to play the other characters maybe there another EE instead.

Armor and crafting are confirmed. Expect to see them. Like the other person said, you can remove health bars in the menu.

My guess is that if one of the zombies map will have an early access for pre-orders, it should be the Liberty Falls map. Based on the description of the map it should serve as an introduction not only for gameplay mechanics but also for the lore itself.
Would it be possible to use the old movement style instead of the new style?
Imagine in the story of blackops 6 we see Samantha use her powers on some toy figures of Primis crew and being them to life in the real world blackops world. That’d be the most badass and craziest thing. Or at least if Victis were to show back up seen as there fates are unknown still.

I'm hoping they keep the point system from cold war, couldn't get points as fast but it meant you could have fun with more weapons instead of trying to get a point racking weapon
The deck cannon trap is literally the Gersh device.. idk what you meant by a boat. But that’s on a deck overhanging a cliff with a cannon.
Just a heads up, many of your audio cuts have noticeable clicks. 3:53 is one example. Given how well cleanly edited the rest is, it just stuck out to me quite a bit.
Wish they would go back to how zombies was in BO1-4. Starting with only pistols and couple guns in the starter room, have to open doors to get to the better guns, 4 perks, etc.

Are you sure that the Liberty Falls map will be a small town map? Because many leakers say that it will be a big open map like tranzit. It should be even bigger than the Main map Terminus Island.

I hope they also bring outbreak back. It is a lot of fun for me and my friends just going into open world and free it from the zombies. Has an arcade kind of vibe and i play outbreak therefore quite often.
