I loved this book.
I lived in northern rural Maine for 3 years- on the Kennebec River! Actually further north- Hinckley Me- I could relate to so much. And midwifery and the 1700s...so much. great story.

Wasn't it so great?? I loved it too. My grandmother grew up on an island in Maine so I have that Maine connection as well.
